Looking for a high quality, reasonably priced, and hassle free shed installation? Look no further than Deck and Shed Pros. I live in Montgomery County which requires a permit and inspection for all shed installations. I didn’t know where to start, but Deck and Shed Pros took care of everything with ease. Jen is a pleasure to work with, is very knowledgeable in everything the company does, and keeps everything moving forward. Jim is great to work with and makes sure everything gets done right. They even let you know the status of your project weekly, even if they are just waiting for materials. On top of this, their installation teams are top notch. I cannot not recommend Deck and Shed Pros highly enough and plan on using them for future deck/hardscaping projects. This company is run they way you wish all companies would do business.

I discovered Deck and Shed Pros while planning to add a garden shed to my property. After shopping the many options for fully constructed sheds, it became evident that there was not going to be an easy way to get a fully constructed shed into my fenced backyard (by accessing a neighbor’s yard, tearing down part of a privacy fence, sloping yards, etc.). I contacted Jim and Jen at Deck and Shed Pros, where they helped me to purchase a shed that was pre-fabricated in pieces and could be delivered through the existing gate! Because I had been shopping and knew what I wanted, the ordering process moved very quickly, but I noticed the company offers a full variety of sheds and buildings to choose from (identical to the fully constructed sheds I had looked at). While the shed was being constructed, Jim provided a status each week of the progress and planned delivery timeframe. On the delivery date, workers assembled the shed in under 8 hours. They were hard-working, courteous, and left the yard clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Deck and Shed Pros to anyone who is shopping for a shed or outbuilding, but most especially if you have a hard to reach area or yard! Everyone was professional, helpful, and friendly to work with and they accomplished everything as promised. Five starts to Deck and Shed Pros—I would definitely work with them again!

Jim and his team were extremely professional. Their communication was top-notch, from the weekly updates every Friday to the specific check-in calls and/or emails while the work itself was progressing. When we hit a snag on the project, Jim was open to the feedback and thoughtful in problem solving and addressing the issue to my satisfaction. Excellent experience from start to finish. Jim/Jennifer and team were professional, speedy and delivered a top-tier product. I requested a quote on a 12x20 shed but got an education/consultation on various things to consider and therefore I was able to make a selection that made most sense for me. I received weekly updates during the process and then when the work was completed they circled back to rectify a couple of minor issues. Honestly can say that I didn't think I'd be this happy with a shed purchase.

They had a great quote with a lot of different options. When we called them, they were able to come visit our house, I believe, the same day. The guys gave us a lot of confidence from the get-go and we decided to go with them. Throughout the build, they gave us weekly Friday followups which was great to know they were still tracking us and acknowledging and things that were on the radar. I love the deck, it's exactly what I was hoping for. Hoping to get a shed built by them next!

We hired Deck & Shed Pros for a diverse set of projects: a custom-built shed, replacement of our window wells, and some repairs to our stone patio. And we couldn’t be happier with how all of them turned out! During the contract phase, Jim, Jen and Victor were incredibly patient in answering all our questions. They were also very flexible on any design issues, ensuring that the projects could be done exactly how we wanted them. For example, they were able to use the same brand and color of vinyl siding on the shed that we recently had installed on our addition (so now they match perfectly), and they adjusted their plans for the window wells to accommodate our chosen style of wells/covers and the necessary depth for digging them out. When Victor and his crew came to install the window wells and make some patio repairs, the work was done beautifully and efficiently. The crew worked really hard, and they cleaned up the yard afterward so there was no debris left behind. One basement window pane got cracked as they were removing the old brick-and-concrete window wells, and they did a wonderful job of replacing the whole window with plexiglass (which was a painstaking task given the age of the window and how it was installed). People don’t usually think of window wells as beautiful, but the new ones that they installed for us (galvanized steel with polycarbonate covers) have totally transformed and modernized that part of the house. Victor and his team were so friendly and easy to work with. They also poured the concrete pad for our shed, making sure it was smooth and level—and in the exact location that we wanted. Victor even spread grass seed and straw over any disturbed areas. When the shed was ready for installation, the manufacturer’s crew came out to build it on-site. They were super professional, and the whole thing was done in about 6 hours. It’s made of high-quality materials and it’s gorgeous to look at—really complements the style of our home. A couple items had been missing from the shed kit, so someone came right out a few days later to make the necessary fixes. When we saw that it needed a single step under the side door, Jim had someone here within about a week to build one from scratch. Everyone was very prompt and responsive to any issues that came up. Through all of it, the communication with Jen and Jim was outstanding—they were always reachable by phone or email, and Jim would send out email updates every Friday, to keep us apprised of any developments or changes to the timeframe. I highly recommend Deck & Shed Pros for sheds, decks, or any other outside contracting work. (If you’re not sure whether it’s something they do, just ask! We didn’t know what kind of company to hire for the window wells, but they got it done with no problem.) We are thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for other jobs in the future.

Jim Sarazin did outstanding work for us putting up a new railing on our deck. Jim was very knowledgeable and hands on, very attentive, super easy to work with, on time, and fairly priced. Great job! I highly recommend Deck & Shed Pros.

We are thrilled with our new deck and sun screen built for us by Deck and Shed Pros. Our neighbors describe it as something out of a magazine. We could not be happier. We contacted Deck and Shed Pros to remove our old wood deck and replace it with the composite materials. In addition, in the summer the sun shines so brightly on the deck that we could never really enjoy it. Deck and Shed Pros built us a customized sun screen that blends in beautifully with the deck and will add so much to our enjoyment of the deck this summer. This was the first time Deck and Shed Pros had constructed this type of shade and it was actually better than we had visualized. We also added lighting to the posts and stairs which makes it really "pop" at night. The team was super easy to work with, kept us informed at all stages and created a beautiful outdoor living space for us to enjoy for years to come. We would highly recommend them and have to anyone who asks.

Deck and Shed Pros recently completed a project for us to completely replace an old deteriorated deck with a new wood one. They are very easy to work with and we are very happy with the finished product. Here is a summary of our experience working with them. Positive aspects of working with Deck and Shed Pros - They listened to what we wanted to achieve, and genuinely tried to make it happen - They were willing to consider options that no other candidate contractor (including three other contractors on Angi with very high ratings) were willing to consider. Deck & Shed Pros took the time to investigate the use of hardwood decking (using black locust lumber). We ultimately did decide to use the black locust lumber for decking and railings which provides a nice looking, low maintenance, real wood alternative to composite decking. - They were willing to work with us on a solution for a support post location problem that required an extra discussion with our county inspection department. But they managed that discussion with relative ease where other candidate contractors rejected the option outright claiming that it would never be approved or pass inspection. (They had it reviewed by an engineer and it did pass inspection) - They provided copies of the drawings that they used for the permit process so that we could use them for our Home Owners Association process - They provided weekly updates on the status of the job once we signed the contract - They were patient with and responded promptly to any questions that we had during the course of the job - The construction team was professional, courteous, and hard working. They clearly tried hard to minimize the impact to our surrounding lawn. They left the area clean each day and at the end of the job. And the workmanship of the finished project was excellent. - They repeatedly asked if we had any concerns about the finished product and worked with us to find a solution to the one minor item that needed an adjustment. I can't sing enough praises for Deck and Shed Pros. From the first visit through construction, Jim was highly responsive and communicative; he even emails a once a week update (which was helpful for me because I was out of town), but we also spoke on the phone several times. Beside the fact that I was referred to him by a neighbor who was also very pleased with the work he had done, I was impressed with our initial meeting where he verbally thought out the logistics of what would and wouldn't work, and what he could do based on my ideas. The construction team was efficient and cleaned up every night. There were no lapses in construction - they showed up every day and my deck was built in less than two weeks. The pricing was very competitive and was much less than what my neighbors have paid for their decks. I highly recommend Jim and Deck and Shed Pros.

Shed and Deck Pros was a wonderful company to work with when we needed a new shed. Jen was great helping with every design decision and ensuring we were in compliance with setback and other code requirements here in Montgomery County, Maryland. We have two dry wells collecting roof runoff inconveniently located near the spot where I wanted the new shed and feared we had to leave space around them. Jen worked through the county permitting authorities until we finally got the answer to ensure we would pass inspection. Jim the owner and Jen were proactively communicative about our installation date, which was enormously helpful. Highly recommend Shed and Deck Pros.
