Description of Work: Angie's List Review of Comfort Systems, Inc. Late last fall, the heat pump part of our HVAC system began hiccuping and clicking loudly when it came on. Hoping to postpone replacement of the system until summer, we called in a tech from Comfort Systems to look at the heat pump and offer recommendations. After doing a thorough inspection, he suggested setting the heat pump permanently in the "emergency heat" mode to prevent the shaky startup and accompanying noise. While, as he foresaw at the time, our winter heating bills have been a bit higher, his solution worked like a charm. And we were carried through a brutal winter without having to incur the extra hit of an immediate system replacement. Helpful -- and economical!!
