Winston's Gutter Service

Overall, the experience was great. I really liked them and I would definitely use them again!

We had been a long-standing customer and now I will never use them again. Winston's failed to come out as promised to clean our gutters, after adamantly promising to do so, prior to the Hurricane/Storm Sandy. I booked them five days in advance of the storm, once we all knew (Winston's included) the storm was coming. We were very concerned that our gutters were full and it could be dangerous if we didn't clear them before the storm came. They never showed up, and failed to contact me to let me know they weren't coming (so I could find an alternative company). Since they have no weekend phone coverage (but do service on the weekend) there was no way to find out why they never bothered to show. They only contacted me days after the hurricane to say "whoops, we couldn't fit you in." No apology, no attempt to remedy. Just "it didn't happen."

They came within just a few days of calling and performed the work quickly and professionally. We depend on them to come twice per year and may increase that frequency because they do such a great job.

Winston?s is one of the best companies I have dealt with from my initial inquiry call to seeing the bags with gutter debris neatly placed by my curb. They provided a competitive estimate and scheduled the service at my convenience. All my interactions were extremely professional and courteous. They delivered outstanding customer service and quality.I will have them perform the repairs after I replace my roof.

Mr Pedro came by on 7/24/2012 around 9 am. He did a very good job clearing the out gutters, bagging up the debris and leaving it clean. The house has two sets of gutters and surround by many trees. Winston's will be used again.

I called them for gutter cleaning and to repair a gutter elbow. I was told it would be anywhere from one day to 2 weeks when the work would be done. Fortunately they called a couple days later telling me it would be next day. They were supposed to either fix the elbow or leave me an estimate with a price. I never got that estimate, so I called, left a voicemail and got no reply. I then emailed the same question and got no response. At this point I will just find someone else to do it. At least they did seem to do a very good job cleaning the gutters.

I have used Winston's Services Corp. twice for gutter cleaning. On the most recent occasion, they promptly returned my call, scheduled the cleaning for the following day. They arrived in the early morning and cleaned all of the gutters on my house. They cleaned up and bagged all of the materials from the gutters. Work took approximately one hour. Price (based on so many cents per linear foot of gutters) was reasonable. I was entirely satisfied and plan to use them again for regular spring and fall gutter cleaning.

Fine. Showed up when they said they would, did the job, sent the bill.

I reached them with one phone call. They came the next day, did exactly what they said they would for the price quoted and made a repair that our previous gutter service had been unable to do numerous times. It was a perfect experience.

They did an excellent job... very professional and thorough.

No problems to report, they did the job while I was at work since they only needed outside access to the house. They left the bill at the front door. I will use their service in the future.

I called on11/21 for an appointment. They called me back and said they would schedule me within the next three weeks and would call me one day in advance of that appointment. They called me on 11/22 to inform me that their crew would do the work the next day (11/23). Two men removed debris from all of the gutters, and they bagged the removed debris for disposal. They also flushed the cleaned gutters with water. They charged me $142.00, which I thought was quite reasonable. I would use them again, and I would recommend them.

The company representative tried to convince me to replace the downspouts with wider ones (adding much more expense). I declined and then heard nothing until more than two weeks later, when a young man showed up unannounced one morning with a garden hose and a ladder. When I returned home later in the day, I found discarded gutter screen pieces by the sidewalk, but the most accessible portions were missing screen and were not cleaned. I called the office to relate this experience and was told someone would come out to remedy this. I described explicitly where to look (above the front door of the house). After this visit, other pieces of screen were missing. I called to complain again and told the office not to bother showing up again; I would not pay for work repeatedly not done or inspected. A terrible experience.

Called for gutter cleaning after hurricane; they came the next day.

Winston's did an excellent job very cheaply - we were pleasantly surprised to pay only $198 for our large home with high roofing. The gutters were cleaned thoroughly and all waste was packed into recycling bags for us. They arrived when they said they would. You can't ask for much more.

Easy to make appt and they came well with in the estimated time frame. They do work on weekends. Cleaned and unclogged the downspouts with some effort. I was here so I could make sure the job was complete. Pleasant workers and price is reasonable.

Company did not respond to request for quote to clean gutters.

Winston's did a great job removing the debris and flushing the gutters. They also swept the roof to prevent any branches or other debris from falling into the cleaned gutter. All debris was inserted in a recycling bag and placed at the curb. Person on the phone was very professional and responsive. They really exceeded my expectations. Will use them again.

I got through on the phone to someone right away. The estimate was done the next day. I scheduled the work and they got it done within two weeks. They cleaned up afterwards so that except for the work having been completed, I couldn't even tell they were there. (I was not home when the work was done). I'll use them again.

Scheduled them over the winter. They could not come right away because everything was frozen. On the first warm day, they did the job. They also sent a nice note explaining why it had taken them so long to come (below freezing temp). Highly recommend.

When I talked to them on the phone, they told me that the didn't do estimates, but they had a fixed per foot price (actually, two different rates depending upon the difficulty). I did some mental math, and decided to give them a try. They estimated that the would be able to come out within the next 2-3 weeks, but also told me that it would depend on weather -- after all, if it was below freezing they couldn't really do it. So, about two months later, they finally made it out (I have no complaints about that -- they were up front that when they would be able to come out would entirely depend upon the weather, and then we had a few beastly months). They made it out this week, did the job quickly, efficiently, and cheaply. They left me a few notes about the job, and left all of the waste in paper bags on the curb. They did call the day before to tell me they were coming (and to make sure that the water was turned on). Overall, I can't say that these guys were great, but they did everything I expected of them for what I consider a good price. They also were helpful when I called them on the phone to check in a few times (I wanted to make sure they weren't going to be coming out while I was out of town).

It was fine. It wasn't a long time to judge whether there is a problem with the gutters, but it seems fine. They came and performed it in the winter time.

We called Winston's over a month ago and put in an order for gutter cleaning. They told us that they would clean our gutters within 3 weeks (weather permitted) but nothing happened. We called twice to ask about what was going on and each time we received the same reply: we have too many customers and we will get to you when we get to you. They also said that they can only send people out to clean gutters when the weather is nice but we had two weeks of nice weather and nobody showed up. When I called to ask for an update, their response was: we have too many customers and we can't tell you when your gutters will be cleaned. Well, if they have that many customers then they can do without one. Maybe losing customers will improve their services.
