I called Winston's yesterday and they sent a crew out this morning. Work was performed in less than two hours. It looks like an excellent job. I am very happy with it and would not hesitate to call them again.

They are very tidy. They climb onto the roof and use a hose to clean everything out. They usually just give you a week that they will come instead of a specific day and time unless they need access to your outside water plumbing. They cleaned up all of the leaves and are very tidy.

We have used Winston's twice a year for 3 or 4 years. They are terrific. Very polite and punctual. They will also do extras for a reasonable fee. Once we asked them to trim a few low branches of a bush that were near the roof, for example. They leave the leaves they have flushed from the gutters in a large leaf disposal bag by the curb ready for recycling.

We actually hired them again. Their price was not unreasonable. They were not the cheapest way to get the roof repaired as well as the gutter cleaned but they were on time. They didn't create any problems. They were good. They showed up and did it. They cleaned up their mess. They were pretty responsive. I would use them in the future.

Pricy, but excellent work. When you call, you leave a message to do the work. Depending on how busy they are, they may come in a week or in two months. Have used them for many years.

They called one day ahead so that I could turn on the outside spigots. The crew worked New Year's Day. Gutters were cleaned perfectly. Nothing was overlooked. They bagged the leaves and put them by the street for pickup.

Great. Reliable at a reasonable cost.

It went smoothly, efficiently and they did a great job . I wouid use them again anytime.

I've used Winston's for many years and they are great! They call a day ahead to remind me of my appointment, are very punctual, and their clean-up is excellent. They bag the leaves from the gutters, wash all cement and walkway surfaces and put the bagged leaves at the curb for county pick-up.

They did a very good job and made the experience very convenient. I was not in a hurry for this job so did not request speedy service. I called to ask for a routine appointment and was given a work date frame. The company called the night before to ensure I turned on the outdoor water tap. They came, cleaned the gutters and left an invoice in the mailbox. There is no requirement that the homeowner is home when service is performed. It could not have been easier and the job was done well. I'll use them again.

I have used Winstons nearly every year for the last few years. You call them up and they put you on the schedule. This year I had to wait a little longer because of so many snow days but they called before they came and reminded me to have my outdoor faucets on for their use. They use their own hoses. They came on a Saturday morning, worked for hours, cleaned all the gutters to include a hard to reach gutter that is on a third floor. They did a thorough clean up and were very polite. I will use them again in the future.

I called during business hours, no one answered the phone. They finally called me back much later. I had originally called to get an estimate for gutter cleaning services after reading the positive reviews on Angie's List. The woman I spoke to, however, was unwilling to give me an actual estimate- either over the phone or in person. After verbally dancing around for about five minutes, the woman would only gave me a "minimum charge" and refused to go any further on how much it would cost over the "minimum charge." The service would have surely cost more than the minimum charge. It seemed like a COMPLETE SCAM to me. Other gutter cleaners were willing to come out, look at my gutters and give me an actual, THOUGHTFUL, official estimate. I do not recommend contacting or hiring this company based on this experience.

A guy from Winston's Gutters went to my Mother's home and clean its gutter. He cleaned up the mess into leaf/grass bags for pickup. He did a very good job and Mother was very happy. We'll keep using them.

I called Winston's based on their closeness to my home -- there were other vendors with more reviews, but I wanted someone nearby. Scheduling was simple, and prompt -- they came the next day. Their process is interesting; as long as your external faucets are working, you don't need to be home. They'll come, do the work, and leave a bill. Pricing was appropriate for the size of my house, and the work was completed with no issues. I'd use them again.

Cleaned gutters, bagged debris appropriately for county pick up. Left all areas clean and debris free. We have used their service twice. They send a reminder postcard but do not inundate you with repeated phone calls like another service provider we used in the past. Good local business.

Winston's explained to me in detail that they would arrive within two weeks, needed access to water outside, and that I would not need to be present for them to complete service. They actually end up coming within two days, and everything went exactly as they described. They cleaned the gutters, flushed them, and bagged the debris for recycling in a lawn bag they provided. They did an excellent job and all went smoothly. I'd definitely use them again.

It was initially difficult to schedule due to lots of rain, but the scheduler was very pleasant and responsive. She was concerned about my experience as a first time customer. My team of two men was fabulous-- very experienced, skillful, and task oriented. They did not waste time and clearly knew what they were doing. They communicated with me in a very professional manner and it was a pleasure to work with them. At the end of the job, the team leader, Lee, reviewed all the details of their work with me, addressing all the areas of concern I expressed in the initial site visit. The other gentleman, George, was careful to point out where my slate roof was impinging on my gutters. They left my property in great shape. I would definitely work with this company again and am considering an ongoing maintenance agreement. Another plus: neat writing on the invoice!

They gave us a two-week window and told us no one had to be home--they'd leave the invoice in our mailbox. Everything went just as they'd told us. They came and cleaned out the gutters and downspouts. They were very careful to clean up all the leaves, bag them, and leave them by the curb for pick-up. We were happy with the price, too, it was very reasonable. Will definitely be calling Winston's again.

I have used Winston's Gutter Service to clean my gutters for 30 years. For the last 5 they have kept informing me that my front gutter needed replacing. I finally asked them to fix this and when the person came out they repaired, not replaced. I complained and the company was very responsive, recognizing their mistake. They took the old gutter off and replaced it, charging me only with the cost of the replacement work, not the previous repair work.

I've used Winston's for years - 2x's/year. The office is always pleasant and punctual in making appointments etc. Unfortunately over the last couple of years I've been a bit disappointed with the work performed. This winter's cleaning prompted me to write a review. The crew was very sloppy in their work - simply throwing the contents of the gutters into my flower beds/ground rather than bagging them. This makes extra work for me, especially when the debris goes into my outside steps to the basement which eventually leads to clogging the drain. I did go out and ask them to stop, which they promptly did. But I shouldn't have to do this. Furthermore, they left my drain hoses off the gutters and was a bit careless on the roof. Finally, it's also a bit annoying that their bills still have an extra "gasoline charge" added to the bill. At this point, it seems like it's "standard", so just build it into the price! Note: I checked that I would use them again - if there was a "maybe box" I would have checked it. If I find an alternative, I may decide to switch.

When you call to schedule an appointment, they give you a window of time when they will come, usually within a couple of weeks, depending on the time of year. If their schedule permits they come sooner than their estimated time. You don't need to be home when they come, but if you ask, they will call the day before so you can be sure that the outside water is on. They do a very thorough job of cleaning the gutters and roof of leaves, and put all the debris into a large paper bag for pickup. Everything is left clean and tidy. I find the price to be competitive, and they do a better job than the company I used previously.

Positive experience; will definitely use them again.

Work was well done and Winston's responded quickly to my call.
