Description of Work: He came out to my house and both my neighbors to inspect a small common crack we had in our basements of our connecting townhouses. We also had areas that were taking in some water. It turns out it was not necessary to fix it the crack....it was not an issue. However the water areas are and in my case it is caused by an outside downspout that gets ice clogged in the winter. Once it occurs again next winter, he will come out to inspect it and then fix it. | |We actually had two companies come out and inspect the first smaller crack and they not only put on a high pressured sale but quoted $13000 to fix it...a far cry from The Crack Man who said we didn't need to worry about it. He was very honest and did not charge for the inspection. I plan to use him when the time comes.

Description of Work: The front foundation wall of my basement had a crack running nearly all the way across due to the way the foundation was poured when the house was built. Water was leaking in every time it rained, the neighbor left his hose running or snow melted. Alek filled the cracks with his special concoction and provided me with a warranty that is transferable to future owners of the home. I have nothing but praise for the work Alek accomplished and his demeanor, knowledge and integrity. His price was fair, and the basement remains dry a year after the work was completed. I would definitely recommend him!

+ -1 moreWe called to get an estimate to have a crack fixed in the basement. They were prompt and courteous on the phone. When the appt. was scheduled, Mr. Neubauer was prompt, professional and courteous. He examined the portion of the house in question both outside and inside. He did discuss the apparent crack. He explained the situation and further told us that he recommended that we have the situation examined and remedied in other ways. We were pleased with his direct and polite explanation as well as his thorough appraisal of the situation. I would recommend this company to others.
Description of Work: He examined the wall in question from both the outside and inside of the house behind the paneled wall for wetness and the crack. Discussed at length the causes and possible approaches to remedy the WATER in the basement. Did not recommend taking care of the crack from the inside but want us to look into a sump pump and possibly a structural engineer.

There arrived on time, responsive to my fastidious requests, and overall very professional. Aleksandar Vujic, encountered a bit of excitement while working on the basement foundation. There was a flying squirrel in the basement. He trapped the pesky critter and let it escape back into the woods. I truly got more than my money's worth. Thank you Alek!
Description of Work: My house has a poured concrete foundation in the basement. I noticed small amounts of water seeping inside and I wanted to fix the cracks before the problem turned into a major problem. I contacted "The Crack Team" to give me a free estimate on three areas around the basement. I accepted their proposal based prompt professional service, price and the Life-of-Structure warranty.

He explained the work and what was necessary and showed us ways to save money, excluding some other unnecessary (and expensive) work that other contractors had wanted to do. I refer him without reservations to friends and neighbors. I know at least two other people who he has done jobs for who are also extremely pleased. Highest recommendation.
