They refused to come out and give a quote prior to doing the job. They said they were overwhelmed with the amount of business they were getting from Angie’s list and weren’t sure when they were going to get to me. They refused to use Angie’s list message center for communication and asked that I email them directly. Every time I attempted to call the company, they didn’t answer and the voicemail was full. I originally scheduled them to come out through the message center and they never responded. Then they scheduled an appointment for two weeks later. I took time off from work to meet them at my house and they never showed up. I called and the voice mail was full. The next day, I emailed them asking what happened and why they didn’t show up. They finally called me back and said they couldn’t come out because it was raining. When we finally scheduled the 2nd appointment, they showed up late, without any tools. When I came home to review the work, they were gone and only 1/3 of the work was done. There were about 8 things on our to do list, and they only completed about two things. The deal promised that they would pull weeds and put down mulch that I purchased. They ended up not pulling the weeds and pulling up grass and just placing mulch on top of weeds. They didnt do the edging or bush trimming that was promised in the deal either. I told them that I would pay $300 extra for them to come and complete the job. They said they would be out the next week and never showed up! I called and got no answer. I then emailed them and they said they never confirmed that they were coming out. They then told me that they would not finish the job and would not fix what they did wrong in the first place. I feel that they blew me off because I wasn't willing to sign a weekly mowing contract. They made it very clear that they had other clients ahead of me.

Fantastic work. I was not present during service but it looked amazing. Very satisfied. Will use again.

I am very happy with them and this is their second season with us. They are expensive but they are very good. Their service guys were able to get what I wanted and that is to get my lawn cut and the owner is very responsive when I have questions.

I contacted Angie's List who reached the vendor, and I finally scheduled the appointment for June 26. On June 26, just hours before the landscapers were scheduled to arrive, I received a text from the vendor stating that they were unable to make it due to a big project that they had to complete. When I asked when they would be able to reschedule, I did not receive a reply. The vendor is unprofessional and unresponsive. I wasted a lot of my time, which I cannot get back, I refuse to waste my money too. I just want my money back.

I have worked with a few landscaping companies over the years, and Maintenance lawn services is the most professional. We first hired them last year after our previous landscaper moved. They gave us a great price, and they do high-quality work. They communicate through email. I send an email when I want something new done, and John replies quickly with a price. They send the bill monthly by email, which is convenient. I just have my bank's bill pay send them a check. Our yard always looks beautiful. They usually come the same day every week, except when weekly mowing is unnecessary. They finish the job in 1/2 the time of our previous landscapers and do a better job. We are very pleased with their work and highly recommend them

I bought the package for $250 for 4 hours of work. They did and excellent job on my yard.

I have used Mainteinance lawn services for about 6 or 7 years now. They have been terrific and professional. Although they may not be the cheapest alternative out there, I have learned that you get what you pay for. They are always courteous, timely and responsive to emails. There work is always great and if it wasn't, they did not hesitate to come back out to make the problem right.

Again, not providing the services outlined in the contract. I have not had a good response to my contact with them.

I had a hard time getting the work scheduled. I would email and call and the company would tell me they would call me back to schedule later and they never did. Since I was unable to schedule for over a week I decided to get a refund for this deal.

They have been fairly regular coming every week to mow my lawn. The weed removal has been inconsistent. The first few weeks they came and I was at home and they were pretty diligent - no weeds. I noticed the last few weeks when I'm not at home, there has been no weed removal. Overall, they do come fairly regularly and the owners seem like nice people. However, I do take issue with how they estimate their pricing. I had spoken to them over the phone to get an estimate on my lawn care. They gave me a price which was a 15% of their list as a discount because I have far less lawn (50% less) than my neighbor's that they had been performing work on. However, after performing lawn maintenance for over two weeks and they billed me the first invoice, they came back to me to say they can't honor the estimate they gave me because I have more plants and more weeds that require more work. I told them how disappointed I was that they didn't honor the original quote. I also think it's unprofessional of them to NOT inform their client that they change their prices ($200-$300 difference) after WEEKS of performing their work. If you made a mistake and you need to correct it, you should notify the client immediately not at the time of collecting the money. They were apologetic about changing the price but it is still a huge annoyance. Another small change they made, the package I signed up for includes 2 hours of spring cleanup. Later on, with the exchange I had with them on changing the pricing on me, they then said that my packaged included 4 hours of spring cleanup but because of how much work needed to get done, they did 9.5hours etc. Obviously, this was all to justify charging me a higher price from what they initially quoted me. But what the packaged deal included had again changed (from 2 hrs to 4 hr of cleanup?) In addition, given that they are charging me the full price even though I have less lawn and supposedly more plant and weed removal, in the last 2-3 weeks, I still have weeds on my lawn and one of my plants have gotten worst since they took over the landscaping. If you are to go with this provider, make sure they come to your home and get an accurate estimate. I also think you have to manage them more closely to ensure top quality. I think they have the capability of delivering great work (as demonstrated by the first few weeks when I was at home) and they are really nice people but you have to stay on top of them all the time. 6/26 - would like to revise my review. Had a conversation with the owner who came immediately after my review. He cleaned out all the weeds and gave suggestions on what needs to be done. In hindsight, we both could've had better communication with each other about the weed situation. I do appreciate his responsiveness to feedback.

He was very nice, very professional, he marked it all out but he was very expensive. He was prompt, he drew a sketch of what he was going to do. I might go back to them because in future we will be doing weeding and mulching. He is very knowledgeable.

It is going very well and they have been very good. I am happy with them so far. They have been doing everything as the deal says.

I wasted two days off waiting for this incompetent company to show up. They never did.

As stated above. They will return to do the work suggested above to greatly improve the appearance of the home's yard.

They came in in Early may and charged us $249.00. They completed the job in 2 hours and it went well. They did Lawn and Yard work with Leaf removal. They were very thorough and professional in what they did. They were delayed in showing up on the day of the job

His team mows my lawn weekly, and also completed one project for me, which was a fairly extensive removal of wisteria that had been growing for years and had overtaken one side of our yard. He provided a fair price for this project (roundup week one, removal week two), completed it on time, and did a phenomenal job w/ it, far exceeding my expectations.

He showed up as scheduled and was responsive to my emails. He did and estimate and scheduled me in an appropriate time. I will use his services again in the fall.

I bought the spring cleanup special from Angies. The yard had not been touched for a year, so more work was required than was covered by the coupon. Mantenance lawn services sent two guys who worked hard to clean up, and then sent them back to do mulching and trimming the next week. The guys were professional and hard-working, and the people in the office that I talked to were very helpful and responsive.
