I called Kristopher Ayoub to have my oriental carpet cleaned and repaired. They were punctual in picking up the carpet and immediately called me with the price to repair the fringe. They returned the carpet in two weeks and laid the new padding and the carpet. It looked like new! They are professional, courteous and when the driver was running late, they called to let me know. I would definitely use them in the future!

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this company impressed me so much, I felt compelled. They did an excellent job cleaning the rugs, for about half the price per rug that we paid Main Street Rugs in Ellicott City to clean a rug two years ago. The rugs had been in my mother's house, had smoke smell, and one had a pretty bad black stain on it, but they both came back looking and smelling great. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and professional. They got the rugs back to me in time for my out of town guests. The free pick up and delivery is a great bonus! The only thing I wasn't thrilled about is that they would call in the morning the day of a pick up and delivery and required a call back before they would come. I'm not always near my phone, so I was calling them back late, but they still came that same day. I am so glad I found Ayoub through Angie's List!

The rugs have never looked better. They gently moved them back into place---I didn't need to do anything.

It went just fine. I had them clean two smaller rugs under the deal. I sent the rugs to their location where they did the cleaning. One of the rugs was in need of extensive repair. I also sent them 5 more smaller rugs that needed cleaned, one of which needed also repaired. My impression was that the pricing was reasonable. I was very happy with the entire arrangement. They were prompt and courteous in their pick-up and delivery of the items. I talked with the owner for quite a while over email and phone before I bought the deal and they were very responsive.

Very professional, on time, did service within my timeline. Were very helpful and did a great job on 2 large, very old, oriental rugs. They both look great!

I had used George Ayoub previously and as I expected, the cleaning excellent. Two of the three rugs were orientals. They arrived on time and delivered the rugs within the estimated time frame. They also mended the edges of one of the carpets and it looks fabulous. I will absolutely use their services again.

On the pre-arranged pickup date, they came to my house and reviewed the rugs. They pointed out the stains (pet urine) that would likely not come out. They then loaded the rugs into their van. On the pre-arranged delivery date, they delivered the rugs to the rooms where I would display them, and briefly went over the stains that would be permanent. On rug - 20+ years old, well-used, and not properly stored - had its original luminescence restored (in spite of the pet stains)! They did the best they could with the permanent pet stains. I was very happy with the service, the professionalism of the people who came to my house, and the communication with the company before the rugs were picked-up and while arranging a delivery date.

I was getting ready to relocate from DC to CA and wanted to get my Kilim rugs cleaned before moving. I took them to Ayoub and asked if they could wrap them in plastic after cleaning them so they'd be ready to move. They did that and they were also able to deliver the rugs back to my home. This was so helpful at a time when I was trying to pack everything. They did an incredible job and were really courteous and friendly. I'd highly recommend.

They have our carpets right now and are due to take the rugs back within the next week or two. I suspect there will be an additional charge because we are a having them do some extra work for us. So far the company has been very responsive and professional.

Absolutely fantastic. Very responsive to my questions. Quality of work was top-notch. They even got out old pet vomit and food stains that others had not been able to remove. Pick-up and delivery were exactly as promised.

I call Ayoub N&oH Carpet and Rugs because they had a deal for 2 rugs. I explained I only had one. They gave me a reasonable square foot price. They also said that the trim needed repair. They picked up the rug at the appointed time. Within the timeframe stated, they returned it cleaned and rolled. Very pleased with service and plan to use them again in cleaning other rugs.

The 2 guys that removed & reinstalled the carpets were very helpful. I was hoping they could do more with some pet stains. Oh well.

I purchased an Angie's List coupon for this service. For $219, I could get a 10x12 rug and another either the same size or smaller cleaned. I wanted an 8x10 wool kilim and a 5x8 wool tufted rug cleaned. My entire experience was positive. The company contacted me immediately, but I scheduled the cleaning for the next month to allow spring to come and dirty boots and wood fires to stop. On the designated day, 2 workers came to my home on time and removed my rugs for cleaning. 9 days later, they called me to schedule return, which I scheduled, for my convenience, 2 days later. On the day the rugs were returned, 2 workers came to my home, laid down the rug pads I had purchased from Home Depot (you can buy rug pads from them, but I chose to buy my own separately as I thought their pads were expensive -- though I'm sure the quality is superior to the ones I bought) and laid down the rugs. They moved all furniture that needed to be moved -- they only ask you to move all breakable a. The rugs look great.

Everything went well and did a good job.

I am extremely pleased with their sense of responsibility, their willingness to fix what is really a very small matter promptly, and the job they did has made me very happy. They did not create stress, they appeared with new sneakers that were clean so that when they walked on the newly cleaned carpet, they would not leave any marks. I will certainly use them again, and a friend who was over is going to see if they can help her with a different floor problem. All together, this was a stress-free, pleasant experience.

Very good service. I was moving and wanted to get all my rugs cleaned. The cleaned the rugs and held them until I could redeem them. They also came to my home promptly and shaved one of the rugs in which one of the wools used in the making the rug had pulled up during cleaning. All in all a good experience.

The first time Ayoub N&H visited, the stain did not come out. We were very worries since the custom rug was brand new. Ayoub N&H called us to follow-up about the stain, and they resent the team to our house free of charge to try again. The second time, the guy left an old towel on top, so that the stain would dry onto the towel - this worked much better! The stain did not come out, but it greatly improved. Ayoub N&H called again to check on the stain, and they resent the team out for a third time free of charge! The team once again left a towel for the stain to dry onto, and that worked well again. The team left me with some coffee & tea remover with instructions for how to keep working the stain. I followed their instructions, and the stain is no longer noticeable. I really appreciated them coming back twice and not charging for that! Credit to the firm for the professionalism.

It went very smoothly. We were moving to a new house and they were polite and very responsive to our needs.

They were wonderful. The rug was great. The rug is in good shape now and it's clean. I used them before and I felt they did a very good job. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I had some troubles back when I used them scheduling the drop off of the rug, but that was more of a minor communication problem. I would say their rate to me is a little bit high.

He did a very good job. The rugs look as nearly new as possible; the custom carpet has a light border which has been the vomitorium of two cats for about 8 years, always when I'm not present, so a certain amount of stain is just set in; but the brightness of the red blocks of color looked super, and he did the job fairly quickly.

Their service was fine. They charged me more than what you have indicated but we have reached an understanding. Apparently there was a mixed up with the $2 amount. The actual work that was done in cleaning my carpet was exceptional. I had to pay an additional amount because it didn't cover exactly what was indicated at Angie's List. There was probably some kind of a mistake or a mix up, so he gave me an additional amount. I know I had the right not to pay for it, but I paid for it anyway because the job that they did was so good.

The experience was great. We had red-colored vomit on a rug from night before, and thus urgently needed to get it cleaned before it set. I had limited hope that even the best rug-cleaner could get it out, but gave it a shot. I called Ayoub early that morning, and they were able to squeeze me before noon, arriving even sligthly earlier than their 2-hour window, which was great. They looked at the stain, gave me advice on the best course of action, and set my expectations appropriately that it would be difficult to clean entirely. Given the minimum charge of $150, I asked if they could also clean the basement carpet, and they were able to do so for no additional charge. So the $150 price tage for cleaning of the vomit stain plus my entire basement carpet and stairs seemed like a very reasonable price, even if they were unable to get the stain out. They spent about 30-45 minutes on the job. Basement carpet looked great. Got all the dirt out, and it looked perfect. Surprisingly (even to them), they were also able to get most of the stain out of the bedroom area rug. While once it has dried, it's not perfectly clean (the whites are a bit more offwhite now for example), it's clean enough where it's not blatantly obvious that there was a giant red stain all over it just a few weeks ago, and if I didn't know about it in the first place, I wouldn't even notice it.. So I was very pleased with their work, getting an incredibly difficult stain almost entirely out (90%) and cleaning our basement carpet for good value. Would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.
