I was relieved that they were willing to do repair type work, and didn't try to tell us that we'd need all new carpeting. Because of that, I would likely purchase carpeting from them next time I do need to replace it. They seemed fair and honest. I'm not sure how to fill out location, since the work was done on two properties, so I only checked one. I would appreciate more options from Angie's list for that line item.
Description of Work: We had to pull up existing carpeting in the basement because of a leak and wait for it to dry. Ayoub came in and was able to re-install that same piece seamlessly. In another property, the carpet became loose, so they stretched it and did a very nice job. I don't recall exact amounts and dates, but it was all very reasonable.

 + 0 moreI used them because of an Angie's list deal. However, before I purchased the deal I contacted them with a question. My rug was slightly over the dimensions of the offering and so I wanted to know if the deal would still apply. They responded promptly to my inquiry giving me a price quote for the difference. I purchased and setup a pick up. They called the night before to remind me and the morning of to let me know the window. They arrived within the window and took care of getting the rugs from under the tables. In about 10 days they called to schedule delivery and delivered in like manner. Not very exciting but exactly the way I expected it. Would definitely use them again.

 + 0 moreThey gave me a three hour window for pickup and again for delivery and were punctual both times. The two guys that showed up on both occasions were nice and efficient. I also appreciated that they didn't try and sell me any additional, unnecessary services. I asked for his recommendation on whether or not I needed to Scotchguard. After answering a couple of questions, he said that I didn't really need it. I found that refreshing. The carpets look GREAT! I definitely plan to use them again.
Description of Work: I had two Oriental rugs cleaned. One was an Embassy-sized carpet which was quite stained. Other was a smaller, brightly colored carpet that had gotten dull.

 + -1 moreReally impressive! I got an Angie's List deal and even though I had to pay a bit more in the end - my rugs were both huge - it was a swift and painless experience with a beautiful outcome. They came, they took, they cleaned, they kept the rugs an extra 2 weeks as I was having my floors sanded, they brought them back, they relaid them. The rugs look great. What is not to love???

 + 0 moreI checked Angie's List and found Ayoub N&H Carpet and Rugs. I took advantage of the $220 coupon and called Ayoub to discuss the service. After I delivered 2 rugs to their business, I decided that the 9X 14 oriental rug also needed to be cleaned. They came the next day and picked it up. Within 10 days all three rugs were delivered to my apartment in Washington DC rolled and ready for the move. When I inquired about paying for the third rug, I was informed that the three rugs were included in the coupon and that I owed only for the smallest rug. What a pleasant surprise. Plus I received a very nice thank you from the business. WhenI arrived at my new home in Bloomington Indiana, I unrolled the rugs and placed them. I was simply delighted in the results of the cleaning! I highly recommend this business for rug cleaning and restoration.
Description of Work: Because I was moving I wanted all three oriental rugs cleaned. Angie's List has been invaluable to me for these sorts of referrals. So I checked and found Ayoub N&H Carpets and Rugs --only about 5 miles from my apartment. I conferred and decided to have the rugs cleaned, deodorized, and in one case have the fringe removed and the ends bound.

Description of Work: Ayoub took my 3X5 Red Oriental Rug in for cleaning. The cleaning was only $32.25 which included an Agnies List 10% discount. They did a beautiful job of cleaning. I also had them replace the fringe on both ends of the rug and the final price also included a new nonskid padding. The cleaning brought out the beauty of the rug, and with the new fringe it looks brand new. The work was ready within the promised time frame. I was very pleased with their work, and I will use them again.

When we received a call that the carpets were ready for delivery, the same process took place. The workers were prompt and quick, and the carpets look like new, with the colors much brighter. They did an excellent job and we will use them again for two more of our carpets, with or without an Angie's List deal.
Description of Work: Two oriental carpets, one 6'x9' and one 6'x10', cleaned and returned in about 10 days.

 + 0 moreThe overall experience was exemplary. We got what we'd hoped for and found a company who could make good on their promises. We will be using them again, when needed, for all our carpet and rug cleaning needs.
Description of Work: An oriental rug in our family room was badly in need of cleaning-- it had several droplets of candle wax, a large stain which another company was unable to get rid of; it was dirty and the fringes on the two ends were in bad shape from vacuum cleaning. I called Ayoub N&H Carpet & Rugs after having purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for cleaning an oriental rug. The company sent two men out to pick the rug up for cleaning at their facility in Kensington. In discussions with them, my wife and I decided to have them remove the fringes (not part of the Big Deal); they stated that the work would be done in one or two weeks, and they rolled up the rug and took it to their facility for cleaning. The rug was returned in two weeks and was like new with the various stains, etc., removed and it looked like new. The fringes had been removed and the rug still looked perfect. This company showed themselves to be outstanding. We will definitely keep them in mind for future cleanings and will use them to come in and clean our wall-to-wall carpeting.

They then pointed out a number of stains and their probable causes, and advised that some of them were not going to be able to be removed. They advised my wife on the phone on the potential value of the carpet when cleaned, and we decided that it was not worth the cost of cleaning. They then helped to dispose of the carpet. This honest and professional service is much appreciated. We had previously had some carpets cleaned by Ayoub and they did an excellent job. We will certainly use them again.
