GREAT! Mr. Perry showed up on time, was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and asked questions about our needs (the large flat screen TV was mounted in a conference room). He never seemed rushed, and was willing to make adjustments to the details of the job as we discussed the steps. We are very pleased and will use his company again.

Randy called to set up an appointment and go over what we wanted done, the various options and if they were included in the big deal or an extra cost (the soundbar was an extra cost, but he gave us a discounted price). The day before the appointment he called to confirm the time. The day of the appointment he showed up on time and everything went smoothly. He was very professional and very friendly, answering all our questions. The TV and soundbar look fantastic! He did an excellent job. If/When we want another TV mounted, we will definitely be calling him!

He took extra time to explain everything we needed to know about the installation. He gave us options to choose from and explained the reasoning for all of the options. There were three separate projects: - Installation of a TV on a fireplace, hiding the wires and the power cords within the masonry. This was a very challenging project due to the construction of the fireplace and the house. He brought in two expert stone masons who removed mortar and a couple of facing stones, then routed the HDMI cables and the power cord through the masonry, up into the attic, behind a built-in bookcase, into the base of the bookcase, and finally up to where we were keeping the cable box and the BluRay player. Beautiful job, no wires visible at all, and it looks like its always been there. - Installation of a 7.1 home theater system. For the free-standing front speakers and subwoofer he ran wires though the wall and installed power outlets so that no cords and no wires were visible. For the in-ceiling side and rear speakers he ran wire through the ceiling. All speaker wires ran to a single connection box with banana plugs. He wall-mounted a plasma TV and ran the power and HDMI cables through the wall. Again, no wires visible. He tested and calibrated the system, everything is great! - Installation of a second 7.1 sound system; this one is used for computer gaming. This involved installing 8 in-wall speakers and running all connections to a single connection box with banana plugs... again, all the wires were hidden. He worked very hard and did a great job. Everything was completed on the date promised and within budget. He was very responsive and very easy to work with. Great experience!

The company was promt with returning calls. They can provide the wall mount or you can purchase yourself. I opted to purchase my own since I could get it cheaper. The day of the install, he called to confirm the time and to let me know he was running a little late which was fine with me. He quickly installed the bracket after asking me about exactly what location I wanted. he was very professional

Randy was awesome... Super Friendly and efficient, without sacrificing quality of work! I had existing wires (Component cables) from the previous owner and wanted to run all HDMI. I have a media closet that I wanted to use (already wired with old cable), but didn't want to have to re-wire. Randy examined my system and found a part that solved all of the issues. I am fairly tech savy and wouldn't of thought of the answer he came up with. He came and mounted the TV during his initial consultation. He then had to order a CAT5 - to - HDMI extender to complete the project. He scheduled a second visit for a Monday to install the part and complete the set-up, and he called a day early to get me up and running even sooner than promised. I would highly recommend Randy to anyone, and will use him in the future. I found Rany on Angies list through other reviews and I'm happy I did!

Randy contacted me promptly, arrived at mutually agreed on time, and performed all services with utmost professionalism. He was friendly and considerate. Restored all work areas to clean, neat spaces. He was also most diligent and worked to make sure everything was just right and that I was completely satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Randy and his work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was excellent. I paid more because it was a fireplace and it was in the basement. He was very good. He did a very neat job.

He came out and showed me everything he would need to do. He explained the additional costs before he did it and volunteered to refund original Bid Deal purchase charges if I was unhappy with additional charges. I found them to be reasonable, efficient, and very good. He came and worked around my schedule. It took a little longer than anticipated due to our triple studded walls but he stuck to the estimate. He was considerate to me and my family. We were happy he took the time to do everything right. There were holes in the wall previously from a mirror and he filled and sanded them. He cleaned up after himself and hooked everything up when done. We were very pleased with his work.

After stopping by the house the evening I purchased the Angie's List coupon (he happened to be in the area!), Randy surveyed our needs and determined that we needed a full size/motion bracket which he didn't have available at the time. He recommended we pick up a specific size board at Home Depot to attach the bracket to, enabling it to bridge between the studs - we then scheduled his install. Randy called prior to arriving on the scheduled evening and installed everything perfectly! It's a very clean look and gives us the flexibility we were looking for in such a restricted installation area (corner of the room). Randy is a true professional and is very personable and goes the extra mile to do it correctly. Our cost was a bit higher due to the need for a much larger, more flexible bracket and extra outlet and we are very pleased we utilized Randy/Impel Services. Randy cleaned up and made sure we knew how everything worked. I would unequivocally recommend Impel Services and will be calling Randy when we make the jump to installing some type of surround sound system!

Randy was awesome and very patient! He answered ALL of my questions and gave me some good ideas. He was on time, very pleasant and even waited until I went to a "not so local" store to purchase a soundbar. He was very professional, very neat and even ran the vacuum when finished! I absolutely would use him again!

Randy arrived right on schedule. He called first to let us know he was coming. Took him about 1 1/2 hours to complete the job. Did an excellent job in the process. All the wires and cable that were able to be seen, are no longer visible anywhere. He was very thorough and clean. Made sure all the mess he made by cutting out drywall was all vacuumed up, put everything back just where it was supposed to be, and finished the job. I strongly recommend Randy & Impel Services to anyone needing this type of work done. I can't imagine a more nice and polite young man as Randy was. Thanks Randy, for a job very well done. On time, efficient, and quality job.

I received my very first 55" LCD/LED TV as a gift, and purchased a wall mount for it. Installation fees seemed high, and it appeared to be an easy project, since I generally do my own home improvements and repair. After wasting a significant part of my weekend attempting the install and injuring myself in the process, I realized that I could not be confident that my install would be safe, and that I would worry about the TV falling off the wall and killing my pets. On Monday, I joined Angie's List to find a contractor to hang the TV. After reviewing several contractors, Impel Services really stood out. I called and got Randy's voice mail, so I left a description of the services needed and my location. I live in the service area, but pretty far away from Impel's office, so I expected to make an appointment and wait a week or two for the installation, if my job was accepted at all. Randy called me within a few hours, said he was near my neighborhood, and would like to stop by to take a look. He arrived twenty minutes later, gave me an estimate, and suggested I add an electrical outlet behind the TV (which I never thought of, and could never do myself.) I agreed on the price, and was expecting him to come back for the install, but he said he could do it right away! The job was done in less than two hours, and looked better than I imagined! Randy is wonderful! He is very likable; a nice guy with a great sense of humor. He is professional, neat, fast, and does an overall fantastic job. I am a very picky customer, and he handled me with kindness and patience. To say I highly recommend him is an understatement. I am so tired of feeling ripped off and unappreciated by people I purchase goods and services from. Randy is truly a Superstar!

It was good. The work was neat. They were very punctual and professional. I had to pay a little more for some extra cables.

Overall, Randall did an awesome job. I was able to get an appointment within a week of calling him. He arrived at my home on time and conducted himself in a professional manner the entire time. My family was there and he didn?t mind us looking over his shoulder and learning about the installation process. Prior to mounting my 2 nd TV, he discovered that the mount that I purchased was the wrong size. Luckily I was able to purchase a smaller mount from him at a comparable price. He concealed all of the wires and power strips that he could, resulting in a clean, neat appearance. We were extremely pleased with his work and would HIGHLY recommend him to family and friends.

We had a big flat screen TV to mount in the living room. From a decorating standpoint, I figured that the bare wall above the fireplace was the place to put it. It needed to be tiltable for best viewing. But I didn't want wires showing. There was an ugly power outlet just above the mantle that I wanted to disappear. With the built-in bookcases flanking the fireplace I knew there were going to be issues. We bought the Angie's List Big Deal for the wall mounting part to save some money on the project. When Randel Perry called to schedule the Big Deal work, I warned him that there was additional work and would be issues in addition to just hanging the TV. I scheduled the work for an evening when my engineer husband would be home to determine exactly what he wanted for the electronics but I'd also be home for what I wanted to make the living room pretty. Randel showed up with a van full of all kinds of cables and connectors to take care of whatever was needed. He unboxed our new TV and figured out the wall-mount hardware. He took care of the mounting in no time flat. Then came the hard part. For the relocation of the power outlet, Randal had the proper power wire and a drywall saw and Randel and husband got the job done. Then another hole had to be cut into the drywall for the TV cable wires. Randal worked with husband and they ran the cable safely around the fireplace to the basement ceiling, across the ceiling and then up into the wall to the DVR box. Any questions my husband had about how things could or should be run, Randal considered, discussed and answered with husband's consent. All of this required cables and connectors we didn't have but Randel produced from his van. Husband was skeptical about hiring someone to do this when he could do it himself. I know he could do it but it would take him a while and several trips to Home Depot for parts. In contrast, in just a few hours, Randal thrilled me and my husband with a beautiful installation that has worked wonderfully!!! This was well worth the money.
