I called in at 7:30am when I noticed my basement was flooding. He was here around 10:30 and done by 11:00. Very friendly and efficient, will definitely call him again.

I had a hot water installed. I called on Wednesday afternoon and Bob gave me a price on the phone which I felt was in line. It was installed on Friday. I am pleased with the service and would not hesitate to call him again.

It went very well. They called me back right away and came out to the house within an hour or so. Very knowledgeable and professional and took care of the problem straight away. I would highly recommend Atkisson Plumbing and will call them again should the need arise.

Good. The only issue was that they did not clean up the water that leaked out when the original line was completely disconnected

Leaking water heater was in a extremely small space. Not a normal water heater replacement, had to make adjustments to get heater in small space. Very satisfied with with work and price was reasonable.

Took my call on the weekend when no one else would. Installed the next day. Price was not the cheapest but fair.

My expansion tank was leaking. He came promptly and replaced the tank. No problems. He was pleasant and professional.

We started a job replacing a valve that looked to be relatively simple. Turns out a cramped space, and an unsecured pipe really complicated the job. After we tried and tried to get the fittings on properly I called Atkisson plumbing because they were close by and had good reviews. The reviews don't lie - he and his son came in 20 minutes and fixed everything in just a few minutes. They were super nice and explained how they managed when we couldn't and show us a few tricks. I would call them again in an instant.

I first contacted Bob (the owner of Atkisson, it turns out) after finding him through Angie's List. My mom had a trap rust through on her bathroom sink. He responded immediately to my call and we arranged a time to meet the same day. Once I got to my mom's house and saw the problem, I thought (woefully incorrectly, it turned out) that I could fix the problem myself. Brimming with confidence, I called Bob back and told him I would not need his services, and even though he was en route, he said it was no problem and that if I changed my mind, to call him and he would come. He was, in hindsight, both fair-minded and prescient. Well, 5 hours and two trips to Home Depot later I did, in fact, change my mind. However it was by that point 5 pm on a Friday. Even though the next day was a Saturday, Bob offered to come out, for no additional weekend charges, and fix the problem. He called when he said he would the next morning, we set up a time, and he came. He fixed the nightmare beneath the sink in 20 minutes, snaked the drain and another that my mother asked him to, and was out the door - no muss, no fuss. $240. Did what he said he would do, came when he said he would come, charged a reasonable amount, and didn't break a thing. Hire him.

Knowledgeable plumber provided fast turnaround time at a fair price.

it was an excellent experience. our hot water heater decided it was going to pop a leak on Thursday evening around 7:30 PM. we spent most of the evening cleaning up the basement . On friday morning i was able to call Atkisson Plumbing around 8 AM and they were available and installing my new hot water heater by 12:30 that afternoon. they spent about 2 hours installing the new heater which they brought with them and took away the old one.

Bob, the owner, asked to come by and see our leaking osmosis system several days earlier to ensure he ordered the correct parts. He and his is assistant were on time and extremely courteous and professional. In fact, they finished in a little over 2 hours. The cost was reasonable and they do not charge a service fee. This is the second time we have used Atkisson Plumbing, the first time was to replace a water heater, and I would definitely call them again.

Our old sump pump well was rusted out and collapsing. Atkissson Plumbing was contracted to remove and replace the unit. They(Bob and his assistant) arrived on-time on the scheduled installation date and began working right away. The new PVC well was much bigger than the existing well so concrete was needed to be chipped-out along the well circumference. The existing metal well was removed along with enough stone and dirt to accommodate the larger well. The new PVC sump well was set in place and connected to the basement drain lines. The dirt and stones were then back-filled around the well and topped-off with a layer of concrete patch. Finally the existing sump pump was re-installed and tested. The entire job took 3.5 hours to complete. Atkinson did a great job overall. They left the basement clean and were focased and professional throughout the project.We will definitely will use them again for our plumbing needs.

After I let Bob know that we would go with him for the job, he called back and set up a time to come out on Saturday morning. He and his assistant showed up and completed the job in 2 hours. They did a great job, and I am now a little closer to getting my new washer and dryer hooked up in the new location in my house. Thank you for taking care of this so quickly and reasonably! We will definitely be calling Atkisson again to handle any future plumbing projects.

I arrived home on May 28th to discover a pipe had burst in my home and was causing excessive flooding. I contacted Angie's List and they suggested Atkisson Plumbing to help. Within 15 minutes of making contact with Robert, he was at my home and working to get my water shut off and repaired the part that broke and caused the leak. It only took him less than 5 minutes to find the issue! He honestly saved my life that day as he had asked me to go into the basement to turn the water off but I told him I was aware of several extension cords that were down there and being actively used. Robert then advised me to stay out of the basement and wait for him to arrive so he could turn the water off while wearing rubber boots to protect him. I am extremely grateful to both Angie's List and Robert for saving me that day! The water damage was pretty extensive and required a lot more work to repair the damage but he certainly prevented it being far worse.

My son's family was excited and in a hurry to leave on vacation. They were all packed for their annual week of fun and sun at the ocean. While doing one last check to make sure that all of the windows were closed and locked in the basement, and as he was turning out the last basement light, to his absolute horror our son saw water dripping on the rug in the corner. Hoping he was just imagining what he was seeing, the water starting to drip as he would begin a cool shower before dinner after a day in the sun, I walked over to the basement corner, just to see a constant drip coming from the already-soaked ceiling. All he could think was, ?There goes my vacation, and with it thousands of dollars fixing the pipes and the ceiling.? He was hesitant to even Ieave the house now, but he called me for advice. I told him to go, and his mom and I would come over to take care of the problem for him and not to worry. He worried all week, but he knew that we would help him out as best we could. If anyone cared, my son and his wife knew we did, so they still enjoyed their time at the beach with the family. After ripping out more of the ceiling and realizing I couldn?t do the job alone, I turned to Angie?s List. The first plumber I called wouldn?t be available until Tuesday, and that would have been 3 days before I knew anything. However, this gentleman suggested another plumber, Bob, another ?A? rated plumber who might have a bit more availability, so I called him. Bob, the owner of Atkinson Plumbing, agreed to come out to my son's home that afternoon to check out the situation. By that time, I had taken down enough of the drywall on the ceiling that I hoped the problem would be exposed. Bob spent over 90 minutes troubleshooting the situation by checking out the drains, toilets, the shower, and the kitchen to no avail. Even with a pressure gauge and his previously acquired knowledge of what could have been happening in the 25 year-old home, Bob was unable to find this small leak which had already caused some significant damage to the ceiling. Without asking for any payment, which by itself was a shock because of the time he had spent checking for the leak, Bob asked me to turn off the water and let everything dry out. Then I should return later and turn the water back on to ensure that the problem wasn?t simply condensation from the air conditioner and not the more significant and expensive problem of finding a leak that we would have to find and fix. Unfortunately, when I returned to the house and turned the water on again, the leak returned. Once again I called Bob, but unfortunately he was busy for a couple of days, but he guaranteed that he would make the time as soon as possible to help me out, and of course in the end to help my son's family and me who worried throughout the week about how much the job would cost and how many ceilings and walls we would have to replace. Following Bob?s directions, I turned off the water and left the house to dry out. True to his word, Bob called and told me that he would meet them at our son's house at noon. After gathering up the many pieces of dry wall so that it could be disposed of and a mold problem could be avoided, Bob brought his assistant, Ryan, with him to assist in finding the leak and repairing the area so that it wouldn?t break again. After about 30 minutes, they found the leak just where they anticipated it to be in a house of this age. It was in a piece of copper piping, but there was an additional problem. The leak was close to a screw and rather difficult to reach. Nonetheless, with Ryan?s assistance, the team was able to fix the problem by replacing the copper pipe with a newer, more durable pipe. After checking the entire area for other suspicious areas, Bob and Ryan were finished. I pulled out my checkbook, and with trepidation asked what the entire cost would be since Bob had come out and not charged him during the previous visit. When Bob quoted him the price, I reminded him of the call he had made just a few days earlier, but Bob repeated the initial quoted charge. We were astounded by Bob and his company Atkinson Plumbing. It is very rare in these days to find company that would not charge for an initial visit if there was nothing that they had further to do to help a customer who needed help in their home. Then, when the final charge was presented, it was extremely reasonable. My wife and I stayed at the home for 2 more hours. They were still leery of a firm in today?s world that would fix a problem while maintaining a policy of honesty, promptness, and integrity while they are working. Our family would never hesitate to trust Atkinson Plumbing with any problem they had, nor will they forget the name Atkinson if friends needed help with a plumbing problem.

Bob arrived and was able to install the laundry tub in the first trip. But since we purchased the wrong faucet for the new pedestal sink, he had to return on Monday June 8 to complete the installation of the pedestal sink. Both projects are complete to our satisfaction, and are working very well.

Bob was great. Returned calls promptly, came out within a few days (this was a non-emergency), and fixed everything as asked. There was a leak in the new faucet after he left, I called and he returned very quickly and it was fixed. Great service, very nice man. Would definitely call again.

I CALLED AT LEAST 6 PLUMBERS FROM ANGIES LIST. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO RETURNED MY CALL. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL WITH OUR FLOWER BED AND EVEN OFFERED TO REPLANT THE FLOWERS..WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND HE WILL BE OUR PLUMBER FROM NOW ON.

Contacted Bob upon discovering the leaky valve on Saturday, 5/23/15 via Angie's List. Bob promptly called me and asked if I needed him immediately. I advised that it was a drip and was controlled with a bucket. We scheduled for Tuesday, 5/26 at 4:00 PM after I get home from work. Bob called in advance to confirm and arrived shortly after the scheduled time. He gave me the price for the job and then took off the 5% per his Angie's List listing for first time customers. Job was done as promised and no more leak!!!

I called about a clogged toilet at 10:05am. I received a call back at 12:39pm. At that point, I anticipated that I would be setting something up for another day and had gone forward with my many items that needed to be done including an appointment for which I was waiting. The person who called me was curt but polite. He asked if I was at the house. I said no but I could be there later in the afternoon if he would like. He asked when and I said 2:30-3pm. I had to finish my appointment. There were a number of other items I had to do this afternoon some of which I would have been doing in the area of my appointment which was 45 minutes from my house. He said, ok 2:30 and asked me to text my address which I did. I finished my appointment and rushed back to the house leaving several things undone. I arrived home by 2:15pm. At 2:43pm when I still haven't seen anyone, I sent a text asking where his guy was. I heard nothing back. I called at 2:57pm with no response. By 3:20pm (as I write this review) there has still been no response to my text or call and I have not seen anybody even resembling a plumber on my street.
