I called Sunday evening because of backed up drains and they were working on it Monday morning. They made the wife very happy with their quick response and of course that made my life better. I call Atkisson Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

We had a leak under our sink, so we called Atkisson again as they did an outstanding job the first time we used them. As it turned out, the garbage disposal was rusted out and needed replacing. The repair was done quickly and at a reasonable price. But this time there was a problem with the repair that required additional action. I found out that with Atkisson problems are no problem. Bob immediately responded to our concerns, and made it right. To me, this is almost as important as the quality of the work: the willingness to stand behind it. Bob has shown me that he is a man of great integrity, and he will probably be my plumber for life now. I would highly recommend him and Atkisson Plumbing to anyone needing those services.

I tried putting in the replacement faucets, but could not get them to work correctly. I called Bob and described the problem. He explained what I could do to correct the problem over the phone. Unfortunately I still could not fix the problem. I called Bob again. He was very backed up & could not come over for several days. We agreed I would try another company. Hat off to Bob for trying to help me without cost!

He fixed the problem where the county and another plumber couldn't figure out what was wrong

I had a strange hum come from my pipes whenever I used water. I called Atkisson Plumbing due to their high ratings on Angie's List. Robert Wieczorkowski, the owner, promptly came to the house with his son. Robert told me I needed a new pressure reducing valve. He had one in his truck and replaced the one that I had. They were here less than half and hour and charged me $350.00 which I was happy to pay since I have no idea how to fix plumbing problems. Several days later, I heard the same hum whenever I ran a load of laundry. I called the company, and Robert stopped and adjusted the new pressure reducing valve. Everything has been fine since. The problem that I am having with this company is administrative. 1) First of all, Angie's List indicates that this organization takes Visa, MC, and checks. When I initially called, I was told by Robert that they do not take credit cards. Fortunately, I had $350.00 in my checking account the day that I called him or I would have had to run to the bank to get cash. I have never had work completed on my house by professionals who did not take some sort of credit card payment. 2) The day the work was completed and I handed Robert the $350.00 check, I asked him for a receipt. I keep track of ALL work completed on my house which I am sure most consumers do. He asked me for my email. I wrote my email address on a piece of paper, and he took a photo of the paper with his Smartphone. He said that he would email the receipt to me. About a week later when I had not received a receipt via email, I called Robert. (The only contact information that I had for this company is a cell phone number as Atkisson Plumbing has no website or email account accessible to the internet.) When I called him, he said that he was at Home Depot picking up supplies for a job. This is a small company, so I understand that he may not have an administrative staff to take care of paperwork. He asked me to call him back on his cell, leave a message for him and give him my address. I followed directions, called him back, left a detailed message with my name, location address, cell phone, email account, and a description of the work that he completed. Well, I did not receive any receipt. After a few more voice mails, I finally received a Word document via email. Keep in mind that the work was completed on 7-17-17. I received the email on 8-15-17 which is almost a month later. The Word document contained the following: Atkisson Plumbing August 15, 2017 My name Install a new pressure reducing valve Price: $350.00 Robert Wieczorkowski Atkisson Plumbing The email from Robert asked that I email him back to let him know that I received the receipt. I promptly email Robert back stating that I received the receipt, but I considered it professionally inadequate and wanted a new, more detailed receipt. As I am considering selling my home in the future, I communicated that the "receipt" he emailed to me looked like an estimate. I communicated that I needed another receipt with the following information: 1) address of the location of the service 2) address of company that completed the work 3) contact number of company - phone / email etc. 4) date of service (his "receipt" indicated the date he emailed it.) 5) professional licensing number of licensed plumber 6) indication that the work was completed (What he sent looked like an estimate.) 7) indication that the $350 was actually PAID (Again, it looked like an estimate) I am not trying to be a difficult consumer, but due to the time that it took to receive an inadequate invoice (almost a month) , I am wondering if this person is even licensed or if this person keeps adequate records in order to pay his income taxes. It appears to me that he does not want a paper trail. Again, I have never had any work completed on my property that did not include the basic information such as the address and license number of the professional providing the service as well as the location of where the service was completed. I mean even when I get my oil changed at JiffyLube they give me a print out of the work that was completed. Perhaps this individual does not have a computer or know how to use one. As a professional, he could still have receipts printed with the company name, address, license number etc. and then just hand write in the work that was completed. That is how the company that services my furnace communicates to its customers. Even with hand writing the description of the work completed and the location where completed, I have professional documentation reflecting what work was completed on my home. Angie's List indicates: "All statements concerning insurance, licenses, and bonds are self reported. Since insurance, licenses, and bonds can expire and can be cancelled, homeowners should always check such info for themselves." I must admit that I did not do that. I have learned my lesson. I am not trying to get this individual plumber in hot water (no pun intended). However, if the work that he completed was inadequate or I have future damage to my residence to due his work, I have NO way of proving that this individual performed any work on my home. I will be more careful in the future to ask for company information, license numbers, etc up front and also ask if properer paperwork / documentation will be provided. Again, I am not trying to get this individual in trouble, but the lack of professional paperwork, not taking credit cards etc. makes me suspicious that work is being completed "under the table" and not by a licensed professional.

We called Atkisson in themorning when ourwater pressure was a dribble. They came out that morning, diagnosed the problem and came out the next day with a new pump and tank, and by the afternoon the pressure was back. Very prompt in responding and very pleasant and professionl to deal with. Got their name from Angie's list and as always, was not disappointed.

Bob showed up and concurred with my assessment, and he went to work. The thing that impressed me most was he fixed it one way and stepped back from the job, took a look at it and didn't like his own repair. He then re-did the entire operation to make sure it was a good fix. That was after he quoted the job and we agreed to it. He easily could have left it the way it was and chances are it would have been okay, but he went the extra mile to make sure the fix lasted. Would use Bob and Atkisson plumbing again, in fact they're not "my plumber" when folks ask. Thanks!
