My dealings with them prior to the moving were excellent. Their price was comparable to others I had gotten and they were very professional and thoughtful. They arrived on time and were prompt with delivery. From start to finish everything went well. I had a minor issue upon unpacking my items in Missouri where I realized a box was missing. I contacted Movers USA and they found the box; they took responsibility and were kind enough to send it by mail at no charge. I was very very pleased.

Crew did a great job. They hustled and were very careful. Did a great job packing and unpacking/wrapping furniture. They worked a long day and hustled the whole time.

It went great. The crew were efficient, professional careful, and really treated our belongings with care. The more you pack yourself the quicker they will get done but they will do whatever you want dis-assemble and assemble, pack and unpack, etc, We could not have been more happy with their work.

The estimator arrived three days early; apparently a mistake had been made when scheduling the appointment. I had to send him away and call the office to reschedule for the original day and time. He showed up three days later and seemed unsure of himself and what he was doing. He even admitted that the movers would do a better job than he was doing with the estimate. He was unable to actually give me an estimate while he was there. He said he would email it to me the next day. When the estimate came through it was $600 higher than a major competitor. We chose to go with the competitor.

On time, packed us, next day on time moved use seemed to be well paced.

Crew was timely & professional the entire time. Followed directions well, worked steadily. Loaded & unloaded trucks rapidly.

The moves were very respected and contours roughest the move. They did the work pleasantly even when my 2 year old got in the way.

Arrived on time, packing the truck went well. Crew was very nice and took care with our belongings. Even disassembled and reassembled our steep number bed! Huge help!

All good. Came early, loaded everything on truck. No mishaps unloaded everything-The gentlemen worked hard!

I hired Movers USA after reading the reviews here on Angie's List but based on my experience unfortunately can't recommend them nor would I use them again. I paid $4,000 for 528 square feet -- more than other quotes I got, but based on the reviews I was willing to pay a bit more for what seemed like a good track record. I talked to Megan to get the info upfront. She was very nice but didn't make it clear that the insurance coverage is only 60 cents per pound (how they figure out "pounds" per item is beyond me). When I asked about coverage details closer to time, I was told it was too late to make any adjustments or get more coverage, and that I should have noticed that in the fine print of my contract -- not the best approach to customer service. I expressed by apprehension about the cross-country move without more coverage, but was assured they had a very good track record and though it was too late to have better insurance, it should be fine. I paid the team to pack several of my more fragile/expensive items professionally -- included paying them $30 to pack a West Elm marble coffee table (http://www.westelm.com/products/marble-oval-coffee-table-h403/?pkey=ccoffee-side-tables%7Ccoffee-tables%7C) that I had saved up to buy. After unpacking everything in SF, literally every item I packed -- including very fragile glassware -- was in perfect condition. The only thing that was not was the marble coffee table, which was shattered into multiple pieces. I suspect they dropped it. It took multiple calls and emails to the sales team to get the claims department to call me back so I could attempt to recoup some of the damage: Between the cost of replacing the item, shipping and processing, the shipping surcharge, and tax, replacement is costing me $770 ? but Movers USA only offered me $60 per the "60 cents per pound" reasoning. Keep in mind that's not even considering what I paid to move it here and the $30 I paid on top of that to have it packed professionally. When I raised this point with the claims agent (having to get pretty assertive while doing so) they eventually agreed to give me $200 plus $30 to reimburse the packing fee, but it's irritating that I had to negotiate for that, plus that still leaves me with a $570 expense on top of an already expensive move -- not to mention a pretty bad taste my mouth. Is $500 really not worth it to them to provide a positive experience and make you feel like you can trust them with your things? I expect to be moving back across the country again in a year and will not be using them again. Pros: - Sales team is very friendly on the phone, and very response -- but then again, that's to get your business in the door. - TEam on the DC end was friendly, arrived on time Cons: - Claims staff is hard to reach, customer service for damaged items is poor, they broke one of the few items I paid to have packed professionally and offered me only $60 for something that cost $770. - They don't fully explain the insurance coverage, tell you "you should have noticed it in the fine print," and don't allow you to update the coverage closer to your move date -- so be sure to interrogate them on the policy, read ALL the fine print and opt for increasing your coverage (though keep in mind that could add $500 plus a $250 deductible) - Team on the SF end was not as great. It was raining the day we moved in and they did not cover the carpets with anything -- so tracked in a ton of mud on our brand new white carpets...which still haven't recovered. They also didn't unpack/unwrap many of the larger items, so we were left with those giant movers blankets and padding (used on furniture) to dispose of.

Excellent. Working with the company to prepare was easy and convenient. Truck was on time, there was no damage to furniture or walls/floors in the move. The movers were courteous and knew how to disassemble and reassemble my pieces. The project was complete within the estimate.

Theyl did a wonderful job loading up our truck today. They arrived on time and loaded the truck beautifully! They even stayed a little late to help us with the trailer on our rental truck - these guys are highly recommended!
