 + -1 moreThe bid (estimate) was fair, and in the right ballpark, so we went with this company. The moving men were highly capable and polite, and did their work well. The cost at the end of the move was much higher than the estimate, however. The estimator had said originally that their charges are based on weight, not volume like that of most other movers. How they determined the actual final weight of our goods was never explained to us. Nor was there any apology or compensation offered for the few items that were broken during the move.
Description of Work: We needed to move the entire contents of our 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath house (plus basement, garage, etc.) from near Baltimore, MD to near Lancaster, PA.
