Description of Work: This was the worst moving experience of my life. They movers overall were not rude (with the exception of Paul) - but they were unprofessional movers who lacked efficiency and moving experience. I have so much to write about this company - so at this time I will not be able to complete my complaint. I am in the process of drafting a detailed letter with pics to the CEO of the company, Angies List and the BBB. I'm so confused based on all the positive reviews until I feel like I've been P***’d. It took the movers approximately 7 hours to partially pack and move a standard 3 bedroom townhouse and then another 5 hours to drive 5 minutes to the next location and unpack the moving truck - a total of 12 1/2 hrs. I called the company mid-day to see if someone at the main office could maybe call the workers and get them to be more efficient with the time, but I was insulted by a supervisor name "Steve" who asked me if I wanted to have his men back out of the job so I could call someone else to finish. I was in shock- these people are so unprofessional. It is now 3 days later and I am still mentally paying for it. The movers left an assortment of my household items around the house when they were finally done and as I walked around to check the house, I thought I was in a nightmare and I asked the head foreman "if they decided what to pack or did they listen to the customer?" He never responded. I then spoke to "Steve" again and he told me that “the movers said no one was there to advise them on what to pack (Seriously!!!). I was quoted a price for an 8 hr job and James (at movers, USA) advised that normally they send three men for a your like this, but because I needed partial packing done they would send a forth man out. It was only 2 out of the 4 men who could speak and understand the English language and there is no way that these people were professional movers- more like day labors which I do not have a problem with- but companies need to be honest about their employees. I would have chosen another company off of Angies List- which now I'm starting to question the truthfulness/reliability of at this point. I want me yearly fee back from her too. I have scratched furniture, the movers dumped content from my dresser draws into boxes, they also wrapped my items in bed sheets and towels and used my old food boxes to wrap furniture up... the list goes on and on.... I am exhausted- this was a total waste of my hard earned money- $1875.00. The $200.00 per/hr after the initial 8 hrs was not paid to them- which would have been about $900.00 extra. I think the company owes me a refund. I am mortified by this experience. I also have multiple pics for proof to back up my horrible experience.
