They promised to get done as quickly as possible since I had to move out of the house because I could not use the downstairs bathroom. They said it would take 3 days plus an extra day for the grout to harden and they finished. right on time. The bathroom looks wonderful. And I have to mention that they did a great job cleaning up afterward. Additionally, they came back a week later to install a new sink faucet, at which time they also installed grab bars in the shower and the new blinds in the bathroom window, all at no additional labor cost. We've been customers since they remodeled our kitchen in 2004 and will continue to do so. I don't want the cheapest work. I want the best. Thank you Gary.

I am very pleased with the quality and price of their work. They took care to protect my home from any damage while work was being performed which included some interior demolition. The crews were pleasant and accommodating, took the time and expended the effort to perform quality work . I was impressed that they completed the work in one and one half days, complete and ready for finish painting. I recommend them for any remodeling work and will consider them for any of my future projects.

Gary and his crew did a great job. From the estimate to the work, the work was done in a timely manner and on budget. His price isn't the lowest but it is reasonable and the work done was done very well. I especially liked the crew at Perryhall remodeling. They were very nice, mannerly (not sketchy like some contracting companies), showed up on time, worked very hard while they were here and cleaned up after themselves. ALSO after he was done, Gary said he stood by his work and if we had any problems to call him. About 6-8 months later there were some small issues that we started noticing (not sure why, shrinkage or expansion or something) and I called Gary to say there were some issues. He said he would stop by and look at it. I didn't hear from him. A few weeks later I noticed that the problems were fixed. He just took care of it! It is SO hard to find a good, reliable, reasonably priced contractor. We've found it in Perryhall Remodeling. Hope to work with him and his crew from now on!

Chimney Repair
Gary from Perry Hall Remodeling was very responsive to my initial call. He provided me with an estimate which was the same as the final price. I later requested that he remove a broken brick from my front step and replace it and he did it free of charge. Although it rained when the work was supposed to be done, Gary explained why it would be detrimental to do the work in rainy weather and then he rescheduled it for the next work day. I was very pleased witht he work and would use his company again for any further work on my house.

It went great! Gary worked with my schedule due to having to get solar panels off the roof and solar co being persnickety On time, on schedule, found other problems (it's an older home) but worked with me (within my budget) to plan stages for getting all the work done. Easy to talk to and easy to work with, very Professional makes and returns calls promptly!! We will be hiring PerryHall Remodeling and Gary Howard again in the future!

The work that was completed looks great. Once completed the crew followed up I do plan on using them for additional projects at my home.

After calling around to several providers, I chose Perry Hall because they gave me a repair quote instead of trying to push an entire siding job for my rental property. I needed the job done quickly as there was a huge snow storm coming at the end of the week. Gary scheduled the repair for the day that the storm was predicted to come in. Naturally, I was worried that they would not get the job done before we got hit with the 3 feet of snow coming that evening. To my surprise & delight the job was completed prior to the bad weather. Also, they were able to match the siding so close that it is hard to tell where the replacement was put. That was lucky for me since the original siding was put on back in 1996. The area was cleaned up and luckily the workers got home safe. They did a great job and I would recommend them.

We discovered termite damage in our new home and were upset and afraid of the extent and costs of what we were facing. Gary and his team helped us to figure out what we should do and were able to come out quickly to do it. They took down the drywall on one wall and part of another, assessed the damage, reinforced the structure where necessary, cleaned up (every step of the way) and put everything back looking better than before. In addition, they caulked all our outside windows and gaps and repaired the parging along our foundation for almost half the house (the other half didn't need it). Gary and his team were knowledgeable, friendly, and talented craftsmen who worked quickly and cleanly. They took on extra tasks without complaint (and sometimes without charge!) and offered solid advice when we were unsure what to do. They were compassionate and reassuring when we were afraid for our home and patient with my constant questions and requests. We would hire them again without hesitation, and plan to do so once we save a little more money. We look forward to working with them for many years.

The project was supposed to start in the November/December time range, however due to Gary's schedule as well as a personal conflict on our end, we agreed to start at the beginning of January 2016. That week after the new year, Gary's crew of Steve and Mike arrived and unloaded materials as well as reviewed the work to be done. The original quote
covered labor and some basic materials (paint, drywall, etc) We wanted our basement to match our house, so we picked out the exterior door (basement service door, original was rotting/leaking) and interior doors. I was able to personally obtain these items,and that cost was not included in the quote, which worked out just fine. Steve and Mike were very professional, on time,and filled us in on the project as it progressed. My selection of interior doors hit a few delivery snags, however the crew was able to continue working on other tasks until I finally got the right doors. My wife and I were much appreciative of Gary and team's patience to ensure our basement met our expectations. Overall, everything came out great and the doors/hardware match our house. The details make the difference, and Perryhall worked to get them right.
Another part of the project included us wanting a basement drybar and half bathroom. We worked with a vendor recommended by Perryhall and ordered custom cabinetry for the vanity and bar. Steve and Mike installed the cabinets and fit them for our space. A miscommunication for the vanity depth by me and the vendor resulted in some extra work on Steve's end, but he made them all fit properly and function as intended.
Steve also performed the sanding and painting on the drywall. We picked the colors and he painted them to our specifications. He did a great job of thoroughly sanding and ensuring a good finish. He was very particular and obviously took pride in his work. This was also evident in that he came over on weekends as needed to touch up, install, re-sand, etc parts of the basement that needed further attention. We asked for some wordwork along our stairway, and he went above and beyond by routing out the trim piece to give a little more definition.
Overall, things came out great, the billing was on point for the work provided, and there was good communication along the way. This particular project can be frustrating for the contractor as I (the customer) was taking responsibility for obtaining several specific parts. I'm not a pro, and thus there were errors on my part along the way regarding measurements and specifics, but Perryhall worked through it and made everything come together. I can't ask for anything more, and our finished basement is an area of our house we look forward to enjoying for many years.

Although the blizzard should start shortly, I still find myself going outside or looking out the window to see our new deck/covered
porch. We are so thrilled with the finished product and the wonderful experience we had through the process. We
had PH remodeling fix columns on our front porch, and while the owner was here (Gary) I asked him about replacing our deck and maybe enclosing it. Gary gave us the vision, and then Joe followed through and did the work. We debated going with Trex, but at Gary?s suggestion, went with regular wood for flooring and steps, and then used maintenance free vinyl for all the railings. This allowed us to have the covered porch (12x16) and the open area (12x8) for the same, or even less, cost of a basic trex for a deck without an enclosure.
We did run into holidays and LOTS of rainy days, but whenever weather cooperated, Joe and workers would be here. I even had days where Joe would be outside waiting for the sun to come up to get started. Holidays and weekends did not stop him from getting the work completed.
Although they are a ?remodeling? business, I think they should be known for the quality and talent they have with decks and enclosures. Hopefully the photos convey what a spectacular job they did. I have no doubt it will stand up to the snow.
Thank you Gary and Joe- we will be seeing you again. I think kitchen may be next.

We had work done previously and Gary's team saw where there were gaps allowing water to get into the home. If they hadn't identified the problems, we could have been looking at significant damage, I called on the morning of the job, asked for extra trim to be painted. They went to home depot to pick up the paint (no cost besides receipt for paint). They not only did what was in the contract, but while up on the roof, painted extra trim around a hard to reach window. Keeping a home in repair may cost $, but I truly feel that we have found a company that will give us an honest estimate of what needs to be done and a very fair price. Thank you not only to Gary Sr, but also t o Angie's list for helping us find such a great company.

Perfect! I had already spent time trying to find someone to replace the large porch columns and was not happy with responses from 2 companies. I joined Angie's list, read reviews and contacted Perryhall Remodeling. The same day, Gary SR called and set up appointment for two days later to come out for a cost estimate. Gary arrived on time along with his brother. They were quick but very thorough. When looking at the porch columns, he also pointed out where wood was rotting and needed to be replaced. They also saw that some of our problems could have been from a misaligned gutter.
Later that night, Gary SR sent a contract via email which included all we had discussed and the price. His quote was the same as one I had received from another contractor, but included so much more than just "replace two porch columns" for the same price.
Day of work (about 10 days later since columns had to be ordered), Gary SR arrived here by 7am to meet with his crew and look over the project. I went off to work and when I came home, all was completed. Front of porch and garage looked great, Only indication they were here was the cans of paint neatly stacked in the corner of the porch.
We are very excited to find a company who has been in business for so long, are friendly and professional to work with, and have a wide range of services they can provide.
