After Hurricane Sandy, I noticed some damage in the attic. Gary was quick to return my call, set up an appointment, and make the repairs immediately. The price set was more than fair while he and his associate were easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He even went out of his way to take pictures for me so I could file a claim with my insurance company. I'm so glad I called Perry Hall Remodeling!

I first contacted Gary to work on our rental property because of his excellent Angies List ratings. I was hesitant to hire any contractor to work on a property that is not our primary residence because I couldn't supervis or inspect the work a regularly as I may have liked. However, there was no need to worry with Gary and his crew. He was prompt, worked hard, and most of all, he is HONEST! We will continue to call on him for future work, too!

I couldn't be more pleased with the work performed by Perry Hall remodeling. From the first time I met Gary and his brother, I was impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. The excellent reviews on Angie's List are well deserved. They completed all the work plus some extras like hanging shutters and fixing a part of my garage - so appreciated! The work was all completed in one day at a very fair price. So glad I had this done. My new roof kept me dry during the last 2 days of Sandy's rain. I highly recommend them and hope I can have them replace the main roof on my home.

I contacted Gary when I found his name and saw his reviews on Angie's list. He was polite and professional on the phone and agreed to come out and give me an estimate to replace the ridge vents on my parents home. While inspecting the home he contacted me and asked about my siding. Confused as I only asked him about the roof I asked why and he told me that there were issues. I was highly suspect as it sounded like a classic ploy by dishonest contractors to get more money for unnecessary work. I met with Gary and he showed me first hand the terrible siding job on my house. He gave me an estimate for all the work I needed done. After meeting with a few other contractors, Gary's estimate was the lowest and his reviews were the highest. Gary worked with me due to both our hectic schedules. When we finally agreed on a date it seemed to rain everyday. Gary always called me to notify me that the weather was not conducive to completing the work (caulk needed to dry). When the weather cleared Gary was at the house, on time, and finished the job. It's been 2 months and my ceiling hasn't had a drop of water hit it. A few days later (I forgot my checkbook the day Gary did the work) I got a call from Gary and I felt bad as I promised him I'd mail him the check and had forgotten. I immediately apologized but Gary's response was "I'm not worried about that, are you having any issues with the roof and siding?" (it had rained a couple days after Gary finished). I enjoyed working with Gary. He's polite, honest, professional, and provides excellent quality work. I will be using him again in the future.

Mr Howard responded to the initial request for a quote in a timely fashion. He was very helpful in suggesting a kitchen design colleague and making suggestions as to what needed doing. There was an unforeseen problem with the house electrical wiring which he dealt with. We added on some extra carpentry work replacing internal steps which he also undertook . Overall, the kitchen turned out beautifully and we were very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and with our dealings with Mr Howard during the whole process.

Gary and one of his colleagues came by early Saturday morning, exactly when he said they would, to give me a quote for leaking skylights that I have had for 2 years as well as assess the drywall damage that occurred from the leaks. They went up to the roof to inspect the skylights and my boyfriend went up there with them, as he has tried in the past to remedy the leaking situation himself with no success. Gary showed my boyfriend exactly what was wrong on the roof and with the skylights, which was actually a fairly easy fix. In order to save us money, Gary emailed us with the exact materials needed to repair the leak, as well as instructions on how to do so. Gary then said he would come back when the skylights were leak-proof to repair the drywall damage. He was awesome, very knowledgable and understanding of the fact that we already have put a lot of money into this issue, so he helped us figure out the most cost-effective way to get the repair done. By giving us the option to do the repair ourselves, since it was easy enough, it really showed us that he cared about our situation and wasn't trying to rip us off. I had a roofer come out prior to Gary, who quoted me over $800 for the repair and with Gary's recommendations, we will get it done by spending $150 on materials.

Gary Sr. contacted his chimney guy Bud to repair my chimney. Bud worked so hard. He came out on a Saturday after a storm Friday night to make sure everything was intact. He couldn't have been nicer. The cleanup was impressive. He even swept out my fireplace. I would definitely use Gary & Bud again, & I highly recommend them to everyone.

Gary from Perry Hall Remodeling took the time to discuss all aspects of our home project as well as alternatives. He was open to concerns about budget and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. HOW REFRESHING! Perry Hall's work is impeccably done and there is not a flaw to be found.

My ceiling was leaking from the rain I was wondering where it was coming from it took me a while to call up some of the people who did the roof I thought that I needed a new roof. So I called timothy roofers and perryhall and they arrived at the same time. They looked at the roof and told me that I do not need a new roof it was the pipe that was leaking so they fixed that within a 30 to 45 minutes and they told be that someone is coming out to do the ceiling where it leaked and he was very punchual as well and did what he had to do and he did a very good job where it leaked and that took about 15 to 20 minutes and he cleaned after himself.

Gary and his crew did a great job on our stairs remodel- two floors. He came over twice to give us an estimate; once before we tore out the trim, and again after we had everything torn out and had done some drywall work. Gary was very professional and did a thorough job of talking to us about what we wanted done and gave us some suggestions. We decided to use him and sent a down payment, and he and his crew showed exactly on the date they said they would. The job took one full day , part of a Saturday and then one worker showed up Monday morning to do some finishing sanding. We had one change - asked that they finished one of the stair end caps a bit differently, and they were glad to comply. The whole job was done very well, and Gary called us each day to update us on what was happening. We felt the pricing was fair, and Gary had us just pay for the materials separately- they just gave us the bill from Home depot and we reimbursed them.We would highly recommend!

When I was researching a roofer to give me an estimate on the roof of my rental home, I decided to contact Perryhall Remodeling because of the good reviews I read on Angie’s List. They showed up a few minutes prior to the appointment time to look at the roof and let me know what they had found. Originally, I had planned to get a few estimates, but I was so impressed with their knowledge and experience that I decided I wanted them to do the work. This happened shortly after a bad (hurricane-like) storm that went through the area and they were extremely busy. Because we had a leak in the ceiling of one of the rooms, he said they would come by and do a temporary fix until they could come back and do the job properly. Five days later Gary contacted me and said they had to opportunity to work on my roof and could do it in two more days. Of course I was pleased and my renters were away on vacation, so timing couldn’t have been better. I assumed he meant the temporary fix. Instead they came out, completed the entire job. They returned the next day to do some fixes on my gutters that they noticed earlier. By the time I returned home from work, everything was cleaned up and looked great. That home also had water in the basement after a hard rain, which we suspected was due to the problems we had with the roof around the chimney. About a week later we had a very hard thunderstorm and Gary called to ask how things were going with the roof. I was pleased to tell him that everything was fine. No leaks, no drips anywhere inside. We have been very pleased and happy with the work from Perryhall Remodeling. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for work that they might need done. They are prompt, courteous, professional and reasonable with their prices.

I am extremely pleased with the work this company did for me. Gary Sr. was great to work with. Very up front with no hidden agenda. He wasn't bothered by my asking many questions. He even did little jobs for me with no extra cost because that's the kind of guy he is, and that's the kind of company he runs. I recommend this company and I will definitely use them again and again in the future. And the Angie's List coupons were a bonus.

Gary is very responsive and professional. We had huge storms in Maryland area after getting work done. Gary stayed in touch with me , to make sure the probelm was fixed. At one point we had some stains on the drywall, and thought water was still coming in. Gary stopped by to check it out. It was just some of the old stain bleeding through the new dywall, and no water was leaking through anymore. He sprayed it with kilz @ no additional cost. I higly recommend him, he does quality work and stands behind it.

We were extremely pleased with the overall experience. Gary and his men showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves each day, and the quality of work is excellent and truly professional. We will continue to use them for remodeling/home improvement, and I would highly recommend Perry Hall Remodeling for any and all home improvement needs.

Gary and his family were very professional from start to finish. The work was done in the timeframe agreed upon with allowances for weather. The worksite was cleaned each day. Gary made several helpful suggestions to improve the work we had requested. Some things were done at no additional cost. I appreciated the quality of work, the professionalism, and the timeliness. I am lucky to find Perry Hall Remodeling through Angie's list. Gary, the owner, is super nice and very professional. We have water leak from the top of the main floor window and we tried multiple times but can not stop it. Gary and Tim stopped by the week I called them, looked at the problem and was able to identify what to do right away. Gary scheduled the date to fix it and the crew arrived as promised. The crew did a very good job as detailed on the quote and cleaned after they are done. They even fixed inside wall water damage which was not on the quote, free of charge. Gary offer one year warranty which tells me they stand behind their work. They are good at what they do. Definately recommand Perry Hall Remodeling.

.I am very pleased with the end result. I met Gary and one of hos guys on set. They both arrived early (they were already there when I showed up) and were pleasant from the start. We talked about what I wanted and how best to do it. They were both open to my ideas and what I wanted and truly listened. While I appreciate it when a contractor makes suggestions, I also like it when they listen to what I want. We had a good back and forth discussion and I left feeling like Gary knew exactly what I wanted. Gary emailed me the bid when he said he would which was only a couple days after meeting me. I reviewed the bid, signed it and sent it and the deposit. Gary ordered the siding which took approx a week. The one time I followed up I was told by Gary that if the siding comes on on time, my job would be scheduled for the following week - likely mid-week. The siding came in and the guys completed the job on Wednesday. Gary informed me that they had finished and asked me to review and sign off on the job. The work was completed as agreed to and expected. The work was good, the communication fantastic and the entire transaction went smoothly. I found Gary's communication and use of technology (emails and electronic invoicing) to be refreshing. In short, Gary appears to be a competent contractor and businessman who values his clients and his reputation. I gave a "fair" marking for price as he was almost exactly the same as another bid I had collected. I decided to go with Gary because he seemed to have the knowledge and willingness to tackle my somewhat unusual job. I would definitely use Gary and Perry Hall again and have already referred him to a colleague.

The Perry Hall Remodeling Team was able to execute our concepts and designs beautifully! We took a closed-in kitchen and family room and joined them together by taking down a wall, to create a gorgeous open concept result. The team was able to resurface our brick fireplace with stacked stone, that we had purchased (and marble for the hearth), and hang our flat screen TV and sound system. We also collaborated on creating custom built-in bookcases on either side of the fireplace, that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.The entire team was professional, highly skilled and were always here when they said that they would be. We will use them in the future for all of our remodeling needs.

Quality is pretty obvious and there is no doubt that we have a roof that will last for decades. Everything was done according to schedule, with a few minor adjustments but they were there when they said they would be there and worked until the job was done. They left everything clean and nothing was damaged, so we are very pleased with the job. I'd recommend PHR to anyone and if the need arises we will certainly be calling them again.

I can't say enough about Perry Hall and the high quality work that it does. We had them install doors and windows last winter and were impressed at that time with their advice, their workmanship and their ability to solve unexpected problems. When we decided to remodel our kitchen we knew that we wanted them to do the work. It was a wonderful choice. While we did much of the demolition in the kitchen (the easy part), Perry Hall came in and put it all back together for us, giving us a beautiful room. The guys working on the job were great and a pleasure to have in our home. Mike, Dom and Gary Jr. (I hope I haven't left anyone out, they were all great) did excellent work. The crews arrived on time every day and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. The installation of the cabinets went smoothly as they figured out ways to overcome some of the challenges in our kitchen. When they completed the work, everything was perfectly level and ready for the granite counter top. When we had a problem after the granite was installed, Gary Jr. was out the next day--a Saturday--to fix it. You just don't get any better service than that. The people at Perry Hall take pride in their work and it really shows. We have a beautiful kitchen and really good feelings about the entire project thanks to their professionalism and the high quality work they do.

I found them to be honest, trustworthy, professional, courtious and the work they performed was outstanding. I am very satisfied with the completed project on bay window and making the front of our townhouse look very nice. Highly recommended.
