Gary and his company were prompt in every possible way: they were quick to survey the possible job, quick to provide a contract, and they were able to bump us up to provide our service quickly. We had an old front porch that was covered in carpet and that began to rot to the point of falling apart this year. After removing a lot of the carpet, I found a lot of other rotted materials. Perry Hall came out to provide some ideas and suggestions. These quickly turned into actions as they were able to remove all of the old porch, yet retain some of the fittings that we like: the railings and a few other pieces. We now have a beautiful, brand new, wooden porch. Gary was helpful in making some suggestions over the phone afterwards in terms of care for the materials and seems to be willing to answer these questions in the future.

Perryhall Remodeling was just the best company to work with. The price was the best estimate we received. Gary Howard and his crew were very professional and completed our new roof, with architectural shingles, in one day. The clean up was just the best! I didn't have one nail or shingle to pick up after the crew was gone, and the crew was extremely concientious of our landscape and made every effort to protect our plants (not one leaf or flower was harmed!!). It was brutally hot that day, but the crew worked non stop! After the crew left, Gary stopped by to inspect the roof and our property. He also said that he will stop back in apprx. one month to complete a second inspection. The foreman came back the next day (which was a holiday) to install our new cupola...we were so surprised that someone would go out of their way to come back on a day off to complete the job. In today's world, it's hard to find a contractor as forthright, hard working, and professional as Gary and his crew. We would certainly consider PerryHall Remodeling for future projects and recommend this company to our friends and neighbors!

I contacted Mr Howard based on the excellent reviews found here. He was quick to come out to the house and provide an estimate for the work needed. I had one other person come out, but that person clearly wasn't as knowledgeable about this type of job. The one small annoyance was that I was asked to pay a deposit prior to scheduling the work. I paid the deposit immediately and we scheduled the work. It took a week or two to get started, but it was worth the short wait. Mr Howard did a great job on the installation and making the door framing water tight. The door looks like it could withstand a direct blast from a firehose! All kidding aside, the work was excellent. I had a small issue with a protruding nail and adjustment of the door seal. He promptly fixed both issues. We have been leak free and very happy with his work. He has since helped me on another small project and I can say I believe him to be the most honest and sincere contractor I have ever met. I will use him for all future projects that require a person of his talents. Highly, highly recommend.

We received multiple quotes and their's was very competitive. The work was performed to our full satisfaction. The crew was very diligent and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. This was our first experience with Perry Hall Remodeling and we would not hesitate to use them again.

I was quite impressed with the service we received. Since it was a relatively small job I was concerned if we could find a company to do the work. The owner came out on Tuesday and quoted a reasonable price. I called back and he said he would be able to put us on the schedule for the following week. I faxed the contract to them on Thursday and I got a phone call on Friday that they could come out that day. They were there within an hour and the work was completed in less than three hrs. They did a great job and even caulked areas that we were not expecting. I would definitely hire them again!

After replacing, painting and caulking the wood around the large window Gary decided to pressure wash the brick surface where the window was mounted and applied water sealer to the brick to help prevent water penetration. He also had the front porch and sidewalk pressure washed because it "Looked Bad". Gary also noticed a decorative air vent in need painting and had that painted as well, we suppleid the paint and there was no "Extra" charge for that work. The 15 replacement windows were scheduled late last year but due to the extremely bad weather we requested waiting until spring of this year to start, no problem with Gary. When the work started, a problem was encountered which caused Gary's crew additional work and some additional materials. There was no "Extra" added to the contract and the end result was as if there was no problem at all. They even matched wall paint to the interior walls to cover exposed areas that the trim did not cover. Leaving the best for last, the quality of materials, workmanship of installation, extra materials and labor provided was a lot more than expected. Not only is the appearance of the interior of the windows great, but the outside aluminum wrap around the windows is a "Work of Art" performed by Gary's son. Gary's team of craftsmen were great to work with,very polite, considerate of our time and space, taking care to not damage our home and cleaned up like they were never there.My advice to anyone in need of home remodeling work: "Best to Call Gary" he will go above and beyond to make sure his customer in completely happy and satisfied with his work.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Our new porch and deck area are gorgeous. Gary Howard Sr. and his team especially Joe Amend were professional, creative, responsive to my every concern, and their workmanship is impeccable. They even worked on little extras while they were at my home. They are perfectionists like me and when they saw something extra that needed to be done, they did it. They are exceptional craftsmen and I would definitely have them back to do any other work that we need done around the house. They completed the job in the time specified and were at my home every morning at exactly the time specified. Thanks Gary and Joe for creating our beautiful outdoor area that my family and I will enjoy for years.

Mr. Howard and his team did excellent work -- very professional, polite, and fine quality. All work was done in a timely manner and as contracted. They made very good recommendations such as moving a floor vent to a better location, caulking windows, where to buy materials. They also took care of a lot of small repairs. Another contractor had done a poor job installing my dishwasher and Perryhall Remodeling fixed it without extra charge. I would definitely use them for any future work on my house. This was a big job for me to have done and I chose the right contractor.

We had a sliding glass door that shattered when a pebble went through the lawn mower. I called at least 3 people and they all said they didn't perform small tasks like this. From the time Gary arrived at my door, he was friendly and didn't try to upsell me. He explained what I needed to replace and when I asked he gave me estimates on future projects (since he is a general contractor and I had him in the house, I thought I might as well get some ideas about replacing another door, the kitchen counters, moving the washing machine upstairs). I am willing to pay for good service if things are done right. The new sliding door looks great! The team arrived on time, worked quickly, and professionally. They even caulked around the edge of my other sliding glass door at no cost (again no upsell, just good customer service). We will definitely use them again as we focus on upgrades rather than emergencies..

They arrived on time and finished the job in two hours. I had two fewer attachment pin than were needed, but they had spares that they used. They even painted the pins to match the painted shutters. They cleaned up the work area when finished. We took the shutters to the county dump. They accepted a personal check upon completion. They provided the lowest bid of the quotes I received. The work was scheduled and done within two weeks after I called to accept the bid. I would have no hesitation to use them again. We did this wrk in early May. Given the number of wasp nests behind the shutters, I am glad we did not wait until later when the wasps were active.

Gary, his son, and their crew did a great job replacing the rotting yellow pine exterior on our 2 front bay windows. They removed all of the old wood and replaced it with vinyl exterior boards and then painted all of the surfaces. They even repainted the trim on the exterior front door so everything matched! The crew cleaned up well and Gary stopped by towards the end of the job to make sure we were happy and then called again that night to check on us once more. They even saved us $700 from the original materials estimate without sacrificing quality. Great job and we would definitely recommend them again.

We had a wonderful experience working with Gary, Tim and Bill. We had previously used them to re-install our front door after another contractor did a horrible job. Gary was very straight forward with everything and was very willing to answer all of my questions. For the bathroom, we picked out the vanity, mirror and shower head for them to install. We also picked up the paint. Gary and Tim stopped by in the morning to go over the details and then Bill was working on the bathroom and bedroom. He worked alone and worked quickly and very precisely. I was shocked that he was able to do the work all on his own. The bathroom had horrible butterfly wallpaper that was so old that they recommended to take the drywall down and replace it. It was a much quicker process and it cost about the same if not less. The bathroom looks amazing! I couldn't be happier. The guest bedroom is "my" room. Basically a big closet. It was a mess with an ugly boarder and a tiny closet. They were able to build a beautiful closet about two feet off the long wall in the room. It has two sets of double doors a bar that goes the full length of the room and then a bar that goes half way across. It actually is built into the old closet so I have additional storage space in the back. They didnt even laugh at me when they saw the paint colors. Each wall a different color, bright pink, green, blue & purple! It looks amazing. The closet was built in a way that it can be taken out (professionally) if needed for re-sale etc. While Gary was on site, he noticed there was some repair work that needed to be done to our chimney. Honestly, I can't remember what it was. I asked if he could repair it and within a day it was done. He was very flexible with us since now we had an extra expense we weren't expecting and we were able to split up our payment to him. We plan on doing a complete remodel to our master bath and we will definitely hire Perryhall Remodeling!

Perryhall remodeling came out and gave me an estimate to repair water damage to roof and chimney flashing. They came two days later and completed the job in one day. Once on the job I asked that they install drip edge flashing which the roofer had not installed. We agreed on a price and it was handled the same day. Perryhall Remodeling is a very professional company. Wish I had found them sooner.

Have used Perry Hall remodeling in the past and have always been satisfied so I asked for some help on a sidewalk issue I was having. Our sidewalk was cracked in two and the cracked slab and the slab next to it needed to be leveled at a certain degree to stop a standing water issue I was having in that area. I also had issue with my extension joints on the driveway where a lot of water was ending up in my sump pump. Called and set up an appointment and after speaking with them about what I was looking for we went ahead with the contract. It took about 3 weeks to get a date of work due to how busy they are and all the rain we had the past several weeks. Really cannot do concrete work in the pouring rain. The crew showed up at the exact time they said they would and spent 2 days fixing the areas I had problem with. The crew cleaned up each day, were not loud and obnoxious and just worked. The finished product was exactly what we wanted. The next night it rained a good amount and when I went out to check on the standing water issue with the sidewalk there was none. The sidewalk had to be sloped at a very precise angle. Will be using Perry Hall Remodeling again for some new windows this spring.

They did a terrific job from beginning to end and had the fireplace ready to use before the first snow of this record cold winter. The house is over 50 years old so there wasn't any new brick to match the brick on the house. They brought samples over and worked very well with my mother and sister in selecting a good brick to match the old brick. They were very courteous, respectful and professional. The guys showed up on time and knocked the project out in short order and cleaned up everything afterward. The job looks great and blends right in with the rest of the house. Mom enjoyed the fireplace all winter long. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

My house is 25 years old and was in need of a good deal of general maintenance and repair. I initially contracted Perry Hall Remodeling to replace the the roof, repair/replace/cover the wood trim in aluminum, replace the gutters and down spouts. I was very impressed with their work, and inquired about having a sun-room built to replace the existing (in very poor shape) deck. We went ahead with the sun-room, which was completed this month and looks awesome. As before workmanship is first class. In addition, Perry Hall Remodeling did some other items such as installing a laminate floor in the LR/DR area, replace the outside shutters, and re-caulk the exterior windows and doors. The work crews were here in the morning and worked hard all day. They cleaned up the construction debris (there was plenty) and even raked out and spread grass seed in the areas affected by construction, digging etc. I found the prices to be very competitive, and a very good value for the quality of workmanship and materials. I will certainly be calling them again.

The guys came on time. They got right to work. On the way over they picked up the door we ordered. The replacement went very well. They finished up in just a few hours. The door and its surrounding frame look fantastic!

The first day a crew of 3 arrived at my home promptly at 8:00 and by the end of the day they had the wall in my family room framed out and had the drywall up and prepped. The next day one worker came and finished the wall and hung my light fixture. I had a problem finding the crown molding to match the existing crown molding in my dining room. When I finally found it and called Gary he sent someone out the next day to install it for me. The price was fair and the work was good, I will definitely use Perry Hall Remodeling again!!

The crew picked up the door for us and brought it over, they showed up on time, and did an impecable and efficient job. On top of installing the door, they modified the outer part of the frame, adding to the top and bottom. They also replaced the outer metal pieces to fit the door, and reinstalled the doorbell. They were very fast, professional and polite. The door looks and works great, and we are so happy with their work. We will definitely be calling Gary for future remodeling projects.

Prompt, professional, and polite. Overall, very good work at a fair price. Gary confirmed the appointment the day before the scheduled work. Gary and his team showed up on the scheduled day a few minutes early. Before starting the repair work, they trimmed the bushes a few inches away from the house and removed the debris (something that most other contractors said that I would have to do myself). They completed all the work as planned, on schedule (less than one day), then cleaned up and left. The work area was left clean and free of debris. The results looked great. The caulking was extremely well done, better than the original work. Gary called the next day to confirm my satisfaction with the work. It was a pleasure to deal with a contractor who communicates well, follows through, and keeps his commitments.

We contacted Perryhall Remodeling to replace the windows in an enclosed porch on the house. Gary and his crew were here every day until the job and cleanup were completed. They did a fantastic job as usual and that is why whenever we need any remodeling work we call Perryhall Remodeling. They have helped us with work on two of our homes and I recommended them to my sister who had extensive remodeling work done. Perryhall Remodeling does QUALITY work and I have never been disappointed in anything that they have done for us. I will continue to use them for any type of repair or remodeling work and I will recommend them to friends and family!

They were fabulous! We bought the skylights and materials separately. They were able to finish the work within a day and half. They noticed that some other work we had done was not done properly. They actually fixed the problems at just the cost of the materials.

Gary responded to my call right away. His estimate was very reasonable, and he performed all of the work the next day. Everything turned out great. I was extremely happy with how quickly Gary was able to get the work done, and the quality of his work was excellent. This was the second time I've used Gary's services, and I will absolutely call him again for my next project.
