They responded quickly on the phone, came and did the work while I was at work, as far as I know all went well. Can't tell with my own septic tank of course, but found them to be prompt and professional..

Chose Preston/Whiteford in part because they did a good job on a baffle repair and certification on this septic tank prior to our move-in to the house a few years ago. The technician was professional and helpful. Gave me a good verbal report of the condition of the tank (and, yes, the contents thereof). Found the tank to be working properly and requiring no repairs. He also furnished a few helpful pointers re water flow and ground absorption. I didn't call other companies for a quote because we had a good previous experience with Whiteford.

What a great company! Gene came out on Wednesday (5/27) to take a look at our septic setup. We had some intermittent problems with water backing up in the toilet and slowly draining out. We have a home warranty on the house and the plumber provided by the warranty service indicated that there was a blockage in the line due to tree roots. He suggested old crumbling terra cotta line as the cause, as the house was built in 1900. Estimated cost to repair the line - $3700. Gene took a look at the setup and generally agreed with the first plumber. However, Gene quoted us an hourly rate of $140 for backhoe and labor based on the uncertainty where the disruption was in the line and how quickly the work could go. He said he would check his schedule for crew availability, likely the following week. I received a call on Friday morning that he had a cancellation and could get his crew onsite that morning and start the work. He showed up with equipment and crew and set to work tracking down the break. Sure enough he found four different types of pipe cobbled together, some of which had deteriorated substantially, which he replaced with new PVC line. He even replaced the septic line leading from the basement crawlspace after an accidental break. The crew had to remove part of a picket fence, but they replaced it afterwards, good as new. A very professional group that I would recommedned and call on again.

Doug arrived at my home to review the septic situation without me having to meet him - a real plus. He gave me a quote and agreed to have the county out to perk the soil. A few weeks later they found an acceptable site to use for the drainage fields. They excavated and replaced the drainage fields in one day.

Took longer than expected but all was fine. Told we had to pay a slight premium due to being in Balt. Co.

Wow, these guys are great. They came, they saw, they completed all very quickly, professionally and reasonably priced! Of course, like any other homeowner I had no real concept of a septic system, other than that it needed to be pumped. Whiteford came out the same day I called, assessed my situation, and gave me "the skinny" on what needed to be done. Upon a verbal approval by me, they then contact a contractor for me, and showed up the day after the contractor did their thing. The crew was very courteous and cleaned up well (considering they had to dig up my yard). I'm very impressed and give this company my highest recommendation and no, I'm not a relative!

WHITEFORD SEPTIC SERVICE WAS ON TIME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO THE JOB AND DID A VERY THOROUGH CLEANING OF BOTH SEPTIC SYSTEMS. I FOUND THEIR PRICES TO BE LOWER THAN PREVIOUS SERVICES.

THE SEPTIC TRUCK COMES EVERY OTHER YEAR TO CLEAN OUT THE SEPTIC TANK. WHILE THEY ARE DOING THIS SERVICE THEY ALSO INSPECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE TANK TO ASSURE ITS FUNCTIONING IN THE UPCOMING YEARS. THE EMPLOYEES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COURTEOUS AND PROMPT.
