Description of Work: We had a few minor electrical issues that needed immediate attention. I set up the appointment and on the given day received a call from the crew saying they were running late (the job before mine ran long). One of them called and gave me a new eta and they ended up arriving almost right on the revised eta. They went right to work on several electrical issues and got it done quickly.

Description of Work: Following the installation of central air con (by another contractor), the circuit box was upgraded to provide more amps. They also facilitated the electrical inspection process. Wilcox was unusually informative and cooperative and, I will assume, quite competent and capable. The experience was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work. They are not cheap but I got my money's worth.

Description of Work: I wasn't sure how effective an electrician was last year so I had Dale of Wilcox Electric straighten things out. He was great and I would always ask for Dale. I feel confident that the job was done correctly and I feel a lot safer now. Wilcox is on Angie's List, the only source I use for contractors.

Description of Work: I needed to replace two transformers in low-voltage ceiling lights. I also had a serious wiring issue with outdoor outlets. Having had a good experience with Wilcox four years ago, I called them. The two technicians--Dale and Gerald--arrived on time, were courteous, kind, and--most importantly--skilled. Both problems required some creative thinking, and the outside work required some get-dirty work. They went to work with terrific efficiency. And just as they were wrapping up, I remembered that an outlet had blown years ago, so I asked them if they wouldn't mind tacking that on. Without complaint, they ran to the truck, found a new outlet, and replaced it within 10 minutes. For what they did, how well they did it, and how long they were at my home, the price was entirely reasonable. I would not hesitate to call on them again.

Description of Work: What a great experience! I called them today on my lunch hour and told that no power was coming into the unit and that PEPCO had been there and stated that there was no problem with the meter but with the circuit breaker box. I was told to hold on for just a minute, because she might be able to send someone today. She said she could get someone there between 2-4 pm and they arrived around 2:30 p.m. and fixed the problem that PEPCO did not complete with the installation of the new meter. Until I found their number today, I had been leaving my number with different companies all week and not even receiving a call back. Yes, the other companies were from Angieslist.
