awesome!! Punctual and professional

We were extremely pleased with Wilcox Electric. They contacted us in advance to confirm the date and time. The electrician, Nelson Rivas, arrived at the agreed time. He was very efficient and replaced our lamps in a short time. He was required to perform some extra placement work on one of the lamps. He also replaced an interior exhaust fan at our request. Nelson was prompt, efficient, and professional.

Better than excellent! So professional! I can't say enough good things about this company and the workers that were sent. The mess was even cleaned!! Would definitely hire again!

The electrician, Dale, showed up on time and quickly deduced what was causing the issue. Apparently when the house was build 20 years ago there was only one dedicated circuit for our kitchen and formal dining room. We've made several appliance upgrades since then and now whenever we ran the sink disposal, the microwave, and the formal dining room lights simultaneously it would cause an issue. In addition, and not mentioned during our service call, Dale saw that we had detached the door panel to our electrical panel during renovations and he reattached it. If we had the ability to rate Wilcox Electric higher than an "A" we would based on Dale's professionalism, politeness, and expertise.

The master electrician was professional, quick, courteous, knowledgable....overall amazing! Affordable and prompt service. Best electrician ever!

Really great service, workmanship, overall price and experience. I would definitely recommend Wilcox — and Steve Smith specifically — to anyone who needed an electrician! He installed a new outlet for us, which requires cutting 2 holes in the drywall, but he was very clean and meticulous, and made sure to fix it up when he was done so all we had to do was a little spackling and painting.

In terms of how did it go well out of 1 to 10 it was a firm 10. The first technician that came out did an analysis of our game plan, his name is Dale. He was kind courteous and made me laugh! Melas Who actually came and installed the doorbell was again kind courteous and very thoughtful! So many times we’ve been disappointed with things like this and I am just so happy to say that all said and done I would hire them for anything! I also have to say that Lauren who help me with the scheduling was very accommodating and kind and made me feel like I was part of the Wilcox family! We always do 3 to 4 estimates before hiring for the job and Wilcox was a plus and every criteria that we usually do when looking for a contractor. Definitely worth them again!

I have nothing but praise for Steve Wilcox and his team of professionals. Steve himself came and did the walk-through and estimate. He was knowledgable, prompt and responsive. The crew that did the work was professional and thorough. The administrative office kept in good communication with me throughout the process, which was complicated by the pandemic. But they made it work and their quality is very good. I highly recommend them.

very well. The outlets were replaced and it was confirmed that I need an upgrade of my 55 year old electrical system. I'm still awaiting the estimate and way forward from the company. I was told in advance that the assessment and estimate would take roughly one week.

Just had Wilcox install two exterior cutoff switches and their breakers. Dimas and Mohammed were fantastic! Very easy to communicate with and extremely professional. Dimas even pointed out a plumbing problem he observed while under the house! I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone in the area. Nice work!

Needed new Deck Light fixtures installed

Wilcox Electric sent Steve and Rodney to hang my light fixture in my loft. This was a very unique project because of where the fixture needed to be placed. Steve and Rodney assessed the area and went right to work. I was so impressed with the care and attention they gave to my home and fixture. They were so kind and professional. I will definitely be calling again. My fixture is picture perfect!

The serviceman understood everything, that I request, but physical work was involved in performing this task, and his knowledge was limited on electrical switches.

Electrician did a great job! He greatly minimized the number of cuts, informed me where he needed to cut part of the wall to check where the plumbing was, and did a nice job of cleaning up. He also exercised due caution in social distancing during the process.

David Settimi and Rodney came by and helped me tremendously. They were both efficient, did an outstanding job, were fast, and did as little damage as possible to the walls. I would highly recommend Wilcox and this team for anyone's electrical project!!!

Everyone I dealt with at Wilcox from start to finish were helpful, kind and responsive. Those I met at my house for the estimate and for the work were on time and professional. I got all my questions answered and the work done well and in a timely manner. Couldn't ask for better, and am hiring them again for additional work.

I highly recommend the services of Wilcox Electric. I engaged this Company’s services based on customer reviews, and I could not be happier. My issue arose as a result of flickering lights and constant outages for 5- or 10-minute durations. A PEPCO repairman advised that the issue was internal and that I needed to contact an Electrician. Since none of my neighbors were affected, and I have no electrical expertise, I accepted the technician’s assessment. David of Wilcox Electric responded to my call. After a thorough testing and evaluation of my circuit panels, David advised that the issue was not internal, but rather with the power lines coming into the house. Since the PEPCO customer service representative and dispatcher was adamant that the problem was internal; it took several days before they sent a different repairman out to reassess the problem. And of course, the second PEPCO repairman found that the problem was in fact due to cabling issues and not internal. Yes, David of Wilcox provided the correct assessment. I am immensely proud of the integrity and professional services of David and Wilcox Electric. Had I reached out to an unethical firm, I may have been sold a new panel system or other services which were not needed. Because of that, I will gladly recommend Wilcox Electric to my family, friends, and others.

Steven was the electrician. He was thorough and competent. I will request him when I use Wilcox again.

My condo building hired Wilcox Electric for outdoor lighting in our park. I am a resident there - and am excited to see this project happen. My car was parked near the park where they were working, and I realized my battery died. No one else was around except their Wilcox van, so I asked for help. Germaine and Steven were exceptionally helpful. They pulled their big van around a tiny corner to get close to my car, and stayed with me for the 15 minutes it took for my car to be able to start again. They talked me through some options when I mentioned I wanted to put electrical in my garage - and told me what to expect, and how to go about it. I will certainly be calling Wilcox when I'm ready for that project. Thank you Germaine and Steven for being so helpful!
