Excellent, they were very professional and decent price.

On a cold December evening a 40+ year old electrical meter can gave in to years of corrosion and lost one of the hot lines coming into my home. After the local power company, Pepco, informed me that the box was my responsibility, I contacted two companies (Wilcox and another that will go nameless) to do emergency repair work the next day. The other company got there about 10 minutes earlier than Wilcox so I let them make the repair...alas they screwed the pooch and only through a lot of schmoozing was I able to make sure I had power that evening. I still needed to get work done, now including a new line from the meter can to the service panel and since the communication and understanding from Wilcox had been so strong, I opted to go with them. While the permit process, outside of Wilcox's control, took months the actual work was done quickly, professionally and according the both the city inspector and Pepco folks very well done too. The crew was friendly, kept me informed on what was being done and how it was progressing and dealt with a homeowner in me that is hovering (and on occasion holding a flashlight so they could see better). While waiting for the inspector to come, they even took the extra step of going through every breaker checking connections that hadn't been touched in at least 30 years. The crew was neat, cleaned up supplies and even left me some extra duct seal. I couldn't have asked for a better day of work experience. Additionally, the in office staff was good at keeping me informed and poking at the Pepco folks to get permits done in as timely as fashion as possible. While I hope not to need major electrical work out of my skill set in the future, I wouldn't even bother calling anyone other than Wilcox.

The job was successfully completed and I am extremely satisfied with Ray's (the electrician) professionalism and expertise. Ray is courteous, punctual and able to communicate complex electrical design and implement resolutions. Thanks to Ray's expertise, electrical power was restored and relocated two ceiling light fixtures within the allotted time. Great job!!

Excellently - the electricians were timely, super professional, detail-oriented, comfortable explaining the work to a layperson, always courteous and friendly. I haven't included the cost of service only because this review covers multiple services.

Highly recommend. I made my appointment with Josh in the office, super easy, friendly and helpful. The electrician Ray was excellent, arrived right on time, very professional and accommodating, he gave me all the information I needed and explained how everything worked. Pricing was very fair. I am definitely a happy customer and would not hesitate to call them again.

The company recommended light bulbs and they are very bright lighting and use less electricity than incandescent bulbs. The timers on the light switches were installed but had to be removed because they only work with incandescent light bulbs. Also, the company picked out very nice fixtures that were very nice and met style request. I'm happy with the overall job.

I was pleased in all respects with the installation of a ceiling fan and other lighting fixtures in my home. Workers were punctual and professional. The estimated cost was given as a range, and the final bill came in at the low end of the estimated range. I would not hesitate to use this vendor again for electrical work.

The outlet was completed quickly and professionally; we're very happy. The troubleshooting will require a second visit to bring the right equipment, but I have confidence that it will be resolved.

Wilcox electricians did a superb job fixing some small but unfortunately numerous issues that resulted from improper earlier work. Wilcox's electricians even managed to trouble shoot and fix a problem of no electricity in the garage. (It turned out to be a deteriorated underground wire of the wrong type, which they replaced with the appropriate exterior-rated cabling--the problem likely never would have happened if this had been done properly in the first place.) Would definitely call back for any future needs.

I had a Sears electric water heater service by their technician. Either he was trying to B.S. me or he really didn't have a clue about what was wrong. Wilcox was asked to trouble shoot the issue and quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue.

Wilcox was very responsive and helpful. When Ray and Steve were here, they did a great job and were highly professional. They had a positive attitude about a possibly tricky job and completed the work an hour ahead of schedule.

Eddie showed up on time Saturday morning (no overtime charges), the day after I'd made the call to Wilcox. He took the ceiling light out and fixed it but told me that due to the construction of the light (a fancy German item) and the age of the house the wires would most likely pull out again. He recommended replacing the light. As it happened, I had a surplus ceiling light appropriate for a kitchen left over from renovations in another part of the house. Eddie installed that light and it works great. It's much more secure in the ceiling than the former light. The service fee was fair -- I'd expected to pay more. I'll call Wilcox again the next time I need an electrician.

Outstanding service! The owner himself - Steve Wilcox - came out on a Sunday night for an electrical outage call. Steve was there before Pepco even called back. He was professional, thorough and very personable. He took the time to walk me through the problem in the breaker box and gave me options for repairs. He fixed the problem on the spot and on top of it, we had a great conversation. I highly recommend Wilcox Electric and will use them in the future for my rental properties and for home improvement electrical issues.

Awesome is overused these days. How about outstandingly awesome? Project completed on time, within budget ( lower than competitor bids) and quickly ! Ray provided sound guidance throughout the entire process.

Wilcox was excellent--professional, prompt, and the final result looked great. They were careful to route the coaxial cable outside in a way that made it almost invisible. Great job! And they don't try to charge for work that doesn't really need to be done.
