Electrician arrived on time, was very thorough in the installation of a dining room chandelier. Was more expensive than I expected.

I was very pleased with Gando and the Wilcox Electric team. They very clearly explained the costs up front when I called about getting someone to come to the house. Gando called beforehand to give me an update, and showed up on time with the apprentice. They moved quickly throughout the house to address all of the issues I'd identified.

Very pleased with Steve Smith. He was on time, efficient, professional and friendly.

Excellent! Dale Debley knew immediately where the error was and installed the receptacle correctly, complete with grounding and wiring, and even explaining how the wiring had been reversed. He also found out another outlet needed grounding (I will reschedule this work later). Truly impressed how quickly he worked and what expertise. Regretedly, I had not known of this company earlier and had a previous contractor do a poor job. For all future electric jobs - will call Wilcox.

Wonderfully. The person who did the estimate was efficient and found an easier way to do the work than another electrician had recommended. Steve Smith completed the work and he went above and beyond the call of duty. He was helpful and did a great job.

The installation went very smoothly. The workers were kind and professional and answered all our questions. The work was done quickly and came in under the original estimate.

We had Wilcox install recessed lights in a bedroom, two hallways and two closets. They also installed two ceiling fans. David and his helper were on time, courteous and did a fantastic job. They worked cleanly and worked to minimize wall damage in running the wires. Very happy with their service and outcome. The reason I rated Wilcox lower on responsiveness was because I had to follow up a few times for the estimate. I called and was told I would get a call back or the estimate and never did. It took over a 1.5 weeks to get the estimate and two follow up calls on my behalf. The price was fair and the actual work came in below estimate because the jobs didn't take as long as estimated.

I've used Wilcox Electric twice, and they always do a great job. Fast and efficient, and very pleasant to deal with.

Extremely well. Rarely does a job come in $300.00 under budget, on time, and exactly as I imagined it. Or better, since Steve Smith made several recommendations that improved the original design of the project and improved lighting quality in the kitchen. I was really impressed with the care Crystal Normal exhibited in prepping for the work. She asked for photos and a very complete description of the project so that they could estimate correctly and plan for the work. As a result, Steve had all materials needed and could complete the project as I wanted.

We needed to have our smoke detector re-located, and the electrician (Steve Smith) helped us figure out the best method to do this in a way that would cause the least amount of 'pain' to our home. He was efficient, very pleasant, and professional -- he found other issues along the way and fixed them in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

The great customer service started when I made the appointment for service. The young lady who made the appointment (I'm sorry I don't recall her name) said that based on my description of the problem, it was quite possible that a new light fixture was needed. She suggested that I have one on site so that the electrician could install it when he arrived. Steve Smith was the electrician who came out. He was very pleasant and provided a thorough description of the problem. He installed the fixture, and addressed the issues which caused the problem. He worked promptly and was done in just over an hour. I will definitely be using Wilcox Electric again and hope that Steve is assigned to do the work.

I was in the midst of an outdoor repair project, when the outside electric outlets stopped functioning, and the internet went down. I called Wilcox, and Steve Smith was able to come right away. He called, gave estimated arrival time, and was on time. He was knowledgeable, communicative, and professional. The problem was quickly assessed, & repaired, and he taught me how to reset it, should this occur again. All of that in one hour. Price was exactly what they had stated it would be. Very pleased.

We had an electric socket that was broken and was shutting off power to part of our house. The electrician, who I believe was named Gando, did a great job fixing it. He was also very friendly and explained everything to both me, and my 5 year old who asked 10,000 questions. I would definitely recommend him.

Wilcox was able to get me on the schedule quickly and their electrician arrived promptly at the start of my two hours service window. Abdel quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired the fixture and make recommendations to replace an aging transformer to prevent future issues. The work area was spotless and we were exceptionally satisfied with Wilcox as a company. Will not hesitate to call them again for any other electrical work.

Outstanding work. The owner came out to assess the job and helped us think it through. The elctricians were professional, quick, and kind. I asked a lot of questions; they answered every single one of them. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Great. Dale was our service person. He came in we told him the problem with one whole wall being w/o power and he went to work investigating. He found the problem and fixed it and replaced a bunch of old receptacles throughout the house that needed changing out. Great job. Now we have power! Thank you so much.

(Homeowner here): Wilcox Electric was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Their appointment process was seamless - I chose the date and time for my service appointment, received a confirmation email shortly before the scheduled date (so no need to call and confirm), and received a call from the technician the day of the appointment to confirm his arrival time (he even asked if he could show up early - a first!). Steve was a total pro - incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. He went right to work on all the tasks I needed completing. He expertly installed the electrical equipment as I had requested (new wireless wall dimmer switches), trouble-shot a problem I had with a bad three-way switch (and installed a clever work-around), installed new LED lights in a track lighting fixture over a precarious stairwell, and suggested other things I might think about doing in the future as I continue to improve my home's lighting - he even wired in some new smoke detectors to boot. Best of all, Steve explained his process along the way so that I ended up more educated about my home's electrical wiring system. Finally, I must say that the pricing was fair and reasonable - I did my homework in researching other companies before committing to Wilcox, and you would be hard-pressed to beat their rates. I highly recommend this company - and especially Steve - for any and all of your electrical needs.

I had called over the weekend when our power went out; My wife and I were out of town, and my 18 and 23 year old kids we're home, but neither knew what to do. I called Wilcox because I had worked with them once before and was impressed. They sent an electrician over immediately who diagnosed the problem, offered options, and even pointed out the cheaper way to get the same work done, within the company. The two electricians that worked on my job were fantastic. They called ahead, showed up on time, worked hard, did a very thorough job, cleaned up carefully and labeled the breakers neatly so Now I can find exactly what breaker I need to turn off or back on. Absolutely great work! The following day I received a follow-up phone call to check if I was satisfied, if the electricians did a good job, and received follow up instructions on what was necessary to have Pepco do their end of the job, as the electricians can only do the work, they cannot ask Pepco to install the meter, for example. One more thing I Really appreciated about the workers; They are both native spanish speakers, but if I was around, they only spoke English, which was very considerate of them. Please note, this was a true full day of hard work, (I observed the process) so it was not a small amount of money, but when you are dealing with the full electrical supply to your home, if its Not right, it might cause a fire!

Very well. We were completely satisfied. Setting up the appointment was easy, with timely and complete follow-up on the company's part. Gando was on time and called ahead to let us know he was en route. He installed the new outlet speedily, so speedily that it allowed for a reduction of the cost as compared to the estimate. He kept the cutting of drywall, which was inevitable, to a minimum. There was a question of exactly what type of outlet to install. He assessed the situation and recommended an approach that, once again, kept the cost down while providing the needed safeguards.This was our second visit from Wilcox Electric, and we will go to them without question the next time we need electrical work.

Josh (front office) was very helpful in scheduling our project, providing an estimate, and explaining the work and materials needed. Nelson and Eric arrived on time to do our electrical work. They worked efficiently and explained everything to us, and cleaned up afterwards. Our project turned out great and exceeded our expectations. We would use Wilcox Electric again and certainly would recommend them to our neighbors and friends.

I had the bad fortune of extensive water damage from broken pipes after the major freeze. Our basement electric panel was full of water. I started calling electricians to come out on an emergency basis. After reaching out to 6 companies and being told they had no available technicians I called Wilcox. I explained my predicament and a very sweet understanding voice said let me see what I can do. She called all her technicians and found one coming off a job to come to my home. She had gone out of her way to help me and I discovered this is the standard for the employees at this company. We did need a replacement for our damaged panel. I had a very reasonable estimate in hand in 48 hours with a priority for scheduling my job. The work was completed flawlessly. My experience with this company was very positive. I found every person I dealt with had the same goal of providing excellent customer service. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and truly willing to put in the extra effort on my behalf. I will absolutely call this company again for any electrical need I may have in the future.
