This man has nine sons that work in the business with him. They are a great family. They are wonderful. They are responsive and dependable. They come back and make it right. They are neat and clean up their work site. They are polite and just wonderful. They are more expensive than some, but they are worth it.

They were excellent. I would rate them highly. They were very good. I would use them again in the future.

I choose this company for the multiple positive ratings; however, they could not/would not provide an estimate, only an hourly rate. I choose not to go with themas I had to have an idea of what the services might cost.

They ran a complete diagnosis on our plumbing system to ensure that they understood the problem and were able to make the correct repairs. It was determined that the well pump had gone bad, and within 30 minutes, several of the Hayden team had arrived with the proper equipment to retrieve our broken pump and replace it with a new pump. They had the equipment on hand, were well organized, and all went to work. In addition to the planned repair, they Hayden team went on to replace a failing switch that may have caused the problem to begin with. I want to make a point to say that this is not the only time the Hayden team has saved us. Several years ago we had a major problem with our Septic. We had a house full of visiting family (12 people in total) and no running water. Initially I contacted another company (they were further up on the phone book - C versus H) who charged us for an emergency fee, proceeded to damage several toilets and actually broke through several sections of the pipes from the house to the septic system. Upon breaking the line, the company (starting with a C) realized the damage they had caused and determined that they could not fix the problem and left us without running water. I contacted our neighbors and was referred to Hayden Plumbing. I contacted the company and they arrived the next day, fixed the broken pipe, and and quot;jumped into the septic systemand quot; to quickly unclog the pipe that had caused the problem to begin with. The team was unbelievable, professional, humble and very polite. Qualities that seem to be missing in todays services companies.

I called to get my septic cleaned, since it was time and to make sure there was no damage following Hurricane Irene (tree removal equipment). They were friendly quick to return my call and come out to do the work. They were curtious and patient with me when I did not know every detail about my septic tank. They gave a very fair price based on comparison to other local outfits. They did a great job and gave aalot of good information on my tank and suggestion on what to look for if I thought I have a problem in the future. I really appreciate there professional service and would use them again.

Service was great!! Secret deoderant went down the toilet. Jammed because and quot;weand quot; tried to fix it ourselves. Servicement were fast, prompt and speedy. No complaints whatsoever!! On August 23rd we experienced an earthquake which was pretty odd in itself. On the evening of the 23rd, it came to my attention our water pump was running non-stop. I checked the bathrooms to be sure a toilet was not running and this is when I noticed the toilets were full of clay colored water. A woke my husband and unsure what the problem was, he shut down the pump and turned the main water line off. The next day, I tried contacting several local plumbing companies and was not able to find anyone willing to work on a shallow well. I contacted Paul Hayden Jr and Sons and after speaking with the receptionist, Mr Paul Hayden Jr took my call. He spoke with me for close to 30 minutes asking questions regarding the problem. He made suggestions of things for me to check once I arrived home. Once I got home, my husband and I checked all of the items he suggested - from taking the top off of the well and determining how much water was in the well, checking to see if there was water on the ground in the crawl space, and several other things. He had also asked me to call him after we had done those things and we did. We ended up taling with him another 30 minutes or more. He determined they would indeed need to come out to determine what exactly the problem was, but the information we gave him allowed him to know ahead of time what his workers may be looking at. He indicated they normally do not come from Calvert County to Charles County due to the fact they would charge from the time the workers were dispatched. I told him we were fine with this. In my opinion, he had already given me an hour of this professional time, which was very much appreciated. He explained two of his sons would be coming the next day. He indicated they would be there between 8:30 and 8:45. The next day, the two young men arrived promptly at 8:30. They began their work immediately and continued until the job was complete. The were there until 11:00. They went down into my well, replaced the line - which was down into the dirt and had packed mud/dirt in the line for several feet. They primed and started my pump and stayed until they were sure it was running as it should. The entire time they were at my home, they spoke to me and to each other with the utmost respect, even saying sir when speaking to one another. They were clean, professional, and highly skilled at their profession.

They did thorough investigation and determined bathtub and fixtures just needed caulking. Has not leaked since. Have used before for leaks/repairs to faucets and toilet//replacement of pump for water pressure. All times was happy with work. Family owned and operated by father and multiple sons. Always professional and courteous/polite when working. I never call anyone else for plumbing.

I had water leaking all over my laundry room floor from the heating and A/C unit, water leaking under my kitchen sink, and problems with water pressure in my upstairs bathrooms. I also had a water pump filter that desperately needed to be replaced. Mr. Hayden and one of his sons were able to come quickly to fix everything. He also identified a major problem with my hot water heater, which will probably need to be replaced within the next 6 months. The quote he gave me for that work was fair and reasonable. Family-owned and operated company - very professional and polite. Excellent experience using this company - I highly recommend them.

I'd discovered water leaking under the sink, and traced the link to a hole in the faucet fixture. I bought a new faucet at Home Depot, but the fittings were sufficiently different from the old one that I didn't want to attempt a DIY installation. Plus I had a leaky cutoff valve under the same sink, another leaky cutoff valve in the basement, and a tub faucet whose drip I'd tried unsuccessfully to fix. Seemed like time to call the plumber. I'd used Hayden and Sons nearly 10 years ago when the underground pipe carrying water from the street to the house sprung a leak, and had they fixed it (and it's stayed fixed, all these years) at a reasonable price, which was why I contacted them now. On this visit, they were very professional, in and out of the house in about an hour and a half. They installed my new faucet, fixed the tub leak, fixed the cutoff valve leaks, AND showed me how to easily fix the cutoff valve leaks in the future. I put N/A on the price, only because I've got no sense of what other plumbers are charging for similar jobs, so I don't feel I'm in a position to grade them on price. I'd hire them again, though, knowing what they charge.

My wife and I noticed a small water leak coming from the toilet bowl connector with the water line. We called our regular repair person but found him unavailable to come quickly. He recommended another plumber but we could not reach them. I checked Angie's List and founf Hayden Jr. and Sons. They promptly answered our call and dispatched a repair crew within minutes. They arrived at our home as promised (within a half-hour) and professionally repaired the problem and another problem that we were not aware of. This contractor met and exceeded our expectations. We would strongly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

They are good. They are professional, polite, and they do what they are supposed to. You don't feel like you are being ripped off at all.
