Arrived on time, were pleasant and professional.

He replaced the fuse and the furnace started working. He thoroughly check the furnace out to make sure everything else was working properly. He noticed the filter was extremely dirty. The filter was the kind that was reusable and to clean them you use a garden hose a rinse away and dirt inside the filter. Chris took the time to show me where the fuse was located and gave me a spare fuse in case it should need to be replaced again. The reason the fuse was blown, was due to a the new thermostat that was put in and the low voltage wires accidently touched causing the fuse to blow. Chris also recommended that I get some spare filters since the house was under renovation to prevent the drywall dust from the walls being sanded from getting into the furnace. He also recommended that filter have large air way to allow for proper air flow inside the furnace. Chris was very polite and I would definitely recommend him and hire him again if the need ever arises.

I couldn't be more happy with the job kite & key did. We were installing a new on-demand water heater in our condo and in the Baltimore area kite and key were the only company that would even give me a quote. Most other companies would only do gas, or would only work on a certain model. I had purchased the water heater myself but needed the breaker box upgraded with new breakers and larger gauge wires ran to where the new water heater was to be installed. Kite and key not only was willing to do this job but gave excellent advise that helped Select the correct size unit based on available space I had in my breaker box. while they were here they also change the power that was ran to the old water heater into an regular outlet. Replacing the ceiling fan was easy for them and the final job i had them do was to extend current outlets in each room to have an additional outlet in each closet. My wife did not understand why i wanted this but understood when I hung the rechargeable vacuum in the hallway closet where it could be stored out of the way and still charge.

technician arrived on time, was very courteous and thorough. gave us detailed inspection report, did NOT try to sell any unnecessary services. I was very impressed and would use them again

Technician showed up on time. Introduced himself and went to work. Performed inspection, letting me know everything looked good and asked if I had any questions.

Replaced heating/air conditioning systems. From the salesman to the workers who installed the heating, air conditioning unit, and replaced ductwork; all were very professional, punctual and expert in their presentation of options and their work. They were careful to clean up after the job and completed the entire work in 2 days. They also were patient in explaining use of the programmable thermostat and all it's functions. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Would recommend them, and use them again for service.

They serviced two (2) gas heating units in my house. Very prompt and professional.

Mark Wood came out on time and make suggestions to reduce return air noise that involved a unique design that they have used before to create a longer return path but in a very limited space. He worked up an estimate for a high-end Elite model gas furnace with 2-stage heat and a variable-speed ECM blower. His price was a bit high compared to other bids, but considering the quality and reliability of the entire package and Level Heating & AC's reputation. I choose them. I'm glad I did! None of the other contractor's had a good solution to reduce the return air noise, the Elite Lennox gas furnace was the only unit from any manufacturing vendor that provides the variable speed ECM blower at the low 45K BTU capacity I required. You should NOT over-size your unit. Within days Steve and Don arrived spread-out drop clothes,and got to work removing the old furnace and AC, modifying the ductwork, installing the acoustic return box, furnace, AC, and humidifier unit. They took their time and did an exceptional job. They also replaced all the condensation piping with emergency shutoffs, drain pan, and cleaning access plugs. The outside AC condenser unit was difficult to remove and replace as my condo is up almost 35 feet above the ground level. They rented a lift to allow them to properly weather-tight seal the unit into the brick wall. Ryan came out and connected the low voltage wiring and thermo/humidistat. I am using a 2nd gen NEST learning unit. They vacuumed and cleaned up the site very thoroughly. They really took their time and checked everything as they went along. Can't commend them enough for a job well done! I have several neighbours in my condo building that will be using Level Heating and AC in the near future.

Chris arrived between the time range allotted and he was very professional. Explained that since it was an older electric force hot air there was only so much he could check.

From sales to installation- very prompt, courteous and professional, and reasonably priced. They performed certain tasks everyone else wanted to charge "a la cart". Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

They told me the contract I bought from them didn’t include another service call. They looked and told me I needed a new part primary controller unit that was $500. I had them do it because I had to have it fixed and the weather is getting cold. My grandson looked up the price for one and it was $75. I have $700 invested with them and this furnace which is half the price of a new one. My furnace still doesn’t work.

The owner came out and he was very nice. They scheduled the appointment but had to cancel. He did not give me a price for the estimate just told me it would not be that much. After the work was completed the bill was very high around $950.00. I called the owner and he did take $500.00 off. I will not use them for electrical services in the future and there are issues issues with the wiring they did now. Update: After seeing my review on Angie's List Andy, the owner, contacted me and offered to have someone come out and fix the wiring issue I was having. His receptionist called me back the next day to set up the appointment. Two different electricians from the first time came within the two hour window that was given. They were both friendly and professional. They found the problem (a loose wire in an outlet that was also wired to the overhead light) and were able to fix it. Although my first experience having work done by Kite and Key was negative, it is apparent that Andy strives to make his customers happy.

Mike showed up as scheduled, with a professional appearance and businesslike demeanor. He demonstrated to us that he had carefully surveyed points in our furnace. He drew our attention to visible issues which were obviously not new but which had not been pointed out by other technicians. He recommended safety procedures above and beyond those which would strictly profit his company. He seemed anxious to make sure we understood our options and consequences, but was not overbearing about work that was needed. We felt that we had been given honest service and advice of high integrity.

I wanted to replace the existing hot water heater, 15 years old, and install a new whole house humidification system. Level provided the median quote of three I requested and I believe a fair price. Although I do not recall being told before hand, the R&R of the hot water heater was being completed by a third party, DWK plumbing. On the day of the installation the folks from DWK arrived first, and on time. They removed the old HWH and installed the new without issue. They also stayed to work with Steve, from Level, to install the humidification system which required a copper line from the HWH. After the installation was complete I was advised how to operate each unit, including maintenance, and given the opportunity to ask as many questions as needed. I am completely satisfied with the installation, quality of work done and the professionalism of the folks from both Level and DWK.

Dan was very professional. He assessed our unit and offered four options 1. repair with service contract 2. repair w/o contract 3. re-charge unit with service contract 4. re-charge without service contract in decreasing cost. he explained all options with no pressure sharing that finding a leak could cost almost as much repair/replacement I took my chances and had unit recharged without service contract hoping there wasn't a major leak - he promptly refilled with Freon and my ancient unit is humming along I have an ancient AC unit and it will need to be replaced soon since the government has tightened standards on freon - the reason bill was high is freon costs associated with demand as government pushes transition. I'll call them back when that day comes.

They are professional. But weigh too expensive. for 15mins' of work, we were charged $150. We also got a quote for the rest of our electrical work, it's twenty times more than how much we paid for individual electrician, yes, twenty times... If you are rich, they are a very good choice though.

They worked with us to fall within our budget to get the best equipment, and they were very responsive.

It went very well. A representative came the day after I called, to check my non-working air conditioning system. He determined that the compressor was bad. My heating/cooling system was 20 years old so I decided to replace it rather than repair it. Chris, the representative from Level Heating and Air Conditioning, gave me prices on the various models of heat pumps available. He had gone to his van and came back inside with the information written on a notepad. I have to say that I wish he would have presented me with better information in the form of a brochure. I made the decision to buy the best unit offered, but wondered afterwards if I had made the best decision. After talking to Chris again, I felt that I had made the right choice, but having had better graphics upfront would have helped me to feel more confident right away. The technicians came on the day we had scheduled to install the unit. They were on time and very courteous. They covered the carpet in the basement so that they did not track in dirt as they worked, and they cleaned up behind themselves before leaving. The exterior platform that the heat pump sits on is looks very clean and neat and much nicer looking than many in my neighborhood. Steve, the tech that came later in the day to set up the thermostat, was very nice and showed me how to use it. I highly recommend Level Heating and Air Conditioning.
