I contracted Level Home Services through Costco for a full A/C and furnace replacement and have been satisfied with their service at every point so far. The initial inspection to get a quote was extremely thorough and informative, and they gave me several options at different price points, all of which beat the other vendors I was looking at. When it was time to actually complete the work, the technicians were prompt, professional, helpful, and courteous. After 2 full days of work, they walked me through everything they did in detail and answered all my questions. By the time they left, the only sign anyone had been here was the shiny new equipment in my basement and yard -- no mess/dirt anywhere (except my own). It was a big job so it was pricey, but definitely money well spent and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Replaced both of my AC units about a year apart. Did great work, updated me throughout the project, and left the area and my home clean.

They were prompt, courteous, professional, cleaned up after themselves, and worked overtime (instead of having to come back the next day as was the original plan) to get the job done right and finished. Someone came out the next day to double check their work, and answered a few additional questions I had. I'm very happy with the work done, the price paid, the warranties (and 10 years of twice a year maintenance included!). Highly recommend them!

I sold my town house and was required to have a thorough inspection performed on the Heating and AC systems. I contacted Level Heating & AC because of my past experience with them to performed this inspection. The service tech did a thorough inspection and tested both the Heating and AC systems inside and outside the town house. He ensured the Freon was at the correct level to provide maximum cooling when needed. He also cleaned the air filter as part of this inspection. The buyers will now have peace-of-mind knowing that the heating and air condition systems were inspected and tested by HVAC professionals.

Level was responsive and scheduled service quickly. The service technician arrived when expected and he was efficient and knowledgeable! AC was repaired quickly and he made several helpful suggestions.

I've had good experience with them. It was pre-summer and pre-winter. The cost was for the complete unit; heating and central unit. I thought the price was reasonable.

For anything general I use Level. Well basically two years ago I had them put in a new system for me at my home. I've maintained a service maintenance contract with them. That particular instance was covered under the contract. So, I think I pay like $200 a year or something like that, but they just basically come out and do maintenance on your system. I would use them again, absolutely they're good.

From setting up the initial estimate to final installation, the entire team at Level Home Services has been great. Sales representatives and technicians all arrived on time and explained in detail the work that needed to be done and why. They were patient when answering my many questions and gave honest answers when it came to the repairs needed. Would use again.

Work went fine, but the man tried to oversell for extra work not needed. He offered to replace the entire pump and other "options".

Did job on time and to our satisfaction

My mother-in-law's 18 year old furnace died on the coldest day of the year so far. I called Level Heating first thing on Monday morning, and they had a technician at the house before noon. He called me to discuss the options for repair or replacement, but due to the age of the system, I opted to replace the furnace and air conditioner at the same time. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable, and there was no sales pitch. He said they had the units in stock, and could replace them the next morning. They arrived before 8 a.m. the next day, and had all work completed that afternoon. The heat was back on, and my mother-in-law was thrilled. I will not hesitate to call Level in the future.

They tend to be a bit on the high side. They do good work. They're a local company, they've been in Havre De Grace for a number of years, but they did change ownership to my understanding. It went from a family ownership to a corporate ownership and I think, any time you deal with family, you're going to get a little bit better service because they're local people. The attitude may have changed a bit. Everyone has a bad time and you may have hit someone at a bad moment. I would use them again, but I would probably do some price comparison before I did.

The staff was great about ease of scheduling and figuring out what system we needed. They were very thorough in getting the new system installed.

There is no better more professional company in Harford County. You are assured to have it done correctly and to code the first time, without delay. They are a bit more money but not by much. There are new regulations regarding hot water heaters that went into effect in 2015 regarding energy efficiency. Most people are just downsizing to 50 gallon heaters if they had larger electric water heaters because if you do not have natural gas, the only option for a larger tank is a hybrid - and they are not cheap. Home Depot sells one for $2,000.00. We had a 80 gallon hybrid Bradford White installed for about $3200.00. But that included a small breaker box and piping for the condensation drain from the heat pump portion of the heater and the piping from the drain pan to the Sump drain also. They came out for $40, drained our old water heater that sprung a leak when every other business was closed. Having a baby, hot water was an immediate necessity. We called the day after Christmas and it was installed the next morning. The plumber Mark was masterful, professional and outstanding. We had other options insofar as service provides go but the $500 difference was worth that and more. The other providers had no idea what they were talking about and just wanted to sell the cheapest tank with the highest markup. Our house required the larger tank and that was our problem. If you want a company that knows what they are doing without any question, Level is the answer. I know that when I resell the home, everything is done to code and I am assured that the leak we had with the old tank will never happen again because of the professional installation.

They arrived in a timely fashion and clearly explained all the potential scenarios before starting work. Work was completed successfully in a reasonable amount of time.

This guy was nice enough to investigate the problem, explain why it kept re-occurring, and go through short and long term fixes. Good price for the service provided. Just wish we had cut the drywall ourselves because we would have been neater about it since we had to replace it.

Mack and Charlie showed up as scheduled to put in new compressor and coil, which had a 14 seer rating as opposed to the 10 seer rating on the original unit. They also replaced the breaker and outside disconnect box. Old Freon was evacuated to recycle container and new system was installed. Mack was able to fabricate all connections onsite. Job site was clean when they left and unit was so quiet I could not tell it was running. Original unit sounded like freight train.

Excellent. They completed the installation in two days.
