Description of Work: AC / Hear pump tune up

Description of Work: Replaced capacitor on a/c condenser unit and cleaned dirty condenser coils.

Description of Work: Todd Air fixed a leak in the pvc pipes of my 19 year old condensing furnace. While another company was unsuccessfully trying to plug the leak, Todd Air came in and actually re-routed the pipes to the way that they were supposed to have been originally installed. The other company (who most likely installed it improperly in the first place) said that it would cost $500 to do that but Todd Air did it for about $200

Description of Work: Called in for a seond opinion for furnance that would not come on. Determined that the problem seems to be with the pressure switch, although it checked out OK. Same as the first contractor, but who felt the flue pipe was clogged. This contractor did not feel that the flue was clogged.

Description of Work: This was an HMS warranty claim. Sometimes I find that their service providers are not best in class, but this was an exception. Repairman showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem, had the appropriate parts with him and quickly fixed the problem and was on his way to his next call.

Description of Work: Mr Todd and one assistant arrived at my home about 7:00 pm. I called Todd Air about 9:00 am and left a voice mail describing my problem. I left my information with the understanding that he would respond at first available chance. He returned my call close to 12:00 noon and said he would be able to respond between 5:00 and 8:00 that evening. True to his word, he evaluated the problem and within seconds pointed out that the drain was blocked. He explained the full scope of my problem and in about one hour had a A/C working properly. He explained all the options of which I had to make choices on and all though the charges added with each, it was my choice of how far I wanted to spend on repairs. Having lived at this location for 7 years, knowing that not one dime was spent on A/C servicing and chances were that nothing was done to it in the fifteen years of existence, I had the entire unit recharged and cleaned for the stated price which involved materials and labor. He was very direct and knowledgeable to any questions asked and explained his answers in a very friendly manor. Without any question in my mine, I would recommend Mr Todd to all and will call him again when needed.

Description of Work: Todd Air was referred to me by my Home Warranty Service, so the price I paid was only the deductible. That being said, I would still have paid more for what ultimately turned into a successful visit. Todd Air came out to service my non-working AC central unit when it broke down for the 3rd time this summer. The company that worked on it the previous two times misdiagnosed the problem, but couldn't seem to pinpoint exactly what was wrong and instead charged me for all sorts of issues.

Description of Work: AIR CONDITIONING WASN'T WORKING AT A RENTAL PROPERTY. WE WERE HAVING AN OPEN HOUSE TO SELL IT. HE WENT THERE WITHIN ONE HOUR OF OUR CALL, AND COULDN'T GET IN. THE KEY WAS NOT LEFT. SO HE CHECKED THE OUTSIDE UNIT, AND PUT IN FREON.
