20 year customer. Very knowledgeable, fair pricing, won’t try to sell you something you don’t need, rare customer service, explain issues and answer questions in a straightforward manner, responsive, neat — great work ethics! Installed 2006 Trane system and just did 1st repair on that system. The AC stopped in the extreme 2022 August heat and they came the day I called. They not only called me 20 minutes before arriving, but they called me after scheduling the service call window to let me know they would be coming at the end of the timeframe in case I had things to do rather than wait that 1-1/2 hours until they arrived! They couldn’t get the part until the next day so they tried a temp fix for some relief. They were here 1st thing the next morning as they said and called 20 minutes prior to their arrival. The repair was done less than an hour later. They had even worked me in so I wouldn’t have to reschedule a doctor appointment! Lastly, they got back to me at the end of the repair day to answer a question I had left on voicemail. I am very appreciative to Dan Sr. and Dan Jr. for getting the AC working so quickly in the sweltering August heat as well as their great customer service!

The company maintained communications and was responsive and clear about the time table that they could perform services. The friendly team provided answers to questions about the mechanics of the HVAC and humidifier; and solved the problem expeditiously. The cost of services rendered was excellent and honest based on the initial estimate and their HVAC expertise.

Todd Air was the second A/C contractor referred to us by HMS Warranty. The first one had done a terrible job replacing our evaporator coil inside the house, causing the coil to melt and frying the larger condenser outside the house. Todd Air came to our house the same day we called, and then wrote up the problem and submitted pictures to HMS for us. After three weeks of HMS trying to track down the first contractor (who had gone out of business), HMS agreed to pay for a new evaporator coil and condenser, essentially an entirely new A/C unit. Todd Air performed this job in a timely and professional manner, finishing the job within a couple days of the parts becoming available. They did charge me for several things that HMS didn't cover, like ductwork, freon disposal, mounting, etc., but I've learned that's to be expected for all home warranty work. So far, the A/C works great, and Todd Air's excellent customer service (in addition to their expert knowledge) was truly a breath of fresh (and cool) air after our first contractor experience. I would highly recommend them.

Very well, the repair team was responsive and attentive and on time, which is rare in this business.

I was referred by my home warranty service HMS. Todd Air was able to get me in the same day. They arrived at the beginning of the time frame I was given which is great and were finished in about 15 min. Turns out it was a simple problem to fix and came in slightly under the expected cost. Cleaning of a small piece seemed to do the job. Both Todd's were friendly and answered questions. For those of you who are like me and don't carry cash, just know that there is a surcharge for using CC's. This fact doesn't impact the work or my rating of their service and for some maybe not a big deal, but I think good to know in advance especially if you don't have time to stop by the bank.

They did a good job but there is a grate in the ceiling and they tried to get it with a ladder so it scratched and dented my walls in spots. I mean they apologized but I still have dents and scratches in my freshly painted wall. They were here twice so the first time would have been September and the second, this, time was in January. I paid a deductible of $89. The first time I was satisfied with them and would give them an A, they replaced the mother board in the outside blower motor and the second time they basically told me that was as warm as they could get it. They responded well. They were hours late the second time.

Even though they weren't upset to come to my house for a Pilot light going out, they agreed to clean up the humidifier and troubleshoot it. The humidifier was completely molded and wasn't working due to faulty wiring on another contractors part which caused it to short. They ordered the part but gave me a rough estimate before hand to see if it was worth it to me to get it repaired. This is about the 6th time that I've used them over several years and they are always punctual within the window that they provided, they have never tried to sell me something or a service that I didn't need and they are consummate professionals! It's refreshing to know that when it comes to HVAC, I don't have to worry about getting fleeced. KUDOS!

I rarely go to the trouble of writing reviews for this or any site, but there was an exception to be made here because of outstanding service. Todd Air was assigned to us by our home warranty issuer, so we didn't know anything about them and hadn't searched them out. They responded promptly, took a look at our failing air conditioner (heat pump) and advised that a part would have to be ordered. The part was finally available on a Friday, but too late in the day to matter -- or so we would have thought. Todd Air called us at ~830pm (again, on a Friday!) to see whether they could come out and install it right away. With a cranky toddler, two melting dogs and temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s forecast for the weekend, of course we said sure... and damned if we didn't have a service technician at our place at ~910pm to install the part. Couldn't be more grateful. We'll certainly be using them as our HVAC service provider from now on.

Called Todd Air who installed our entire HVAC system in 2005 when our A/C stopped working this summer. Dan came out and identified the motor as the issue and reminded us we had the system under a 10 year parts and labor warranty, so there was no charge for the work . It is tough to find honest folks these days and I trust Todd Air for all my heating and A/C needs. With there were more like them.

I had worked with TODD air previously and had been very satisfied with their work. They had came back once on a previous call and didn't charge me as they felt they should have caught it the first time even though it was a different problem. So I gave them a call and hoped for the best. They said they don't work with space heaters and haven't been trained in repairing them. I told them I had no where else to turn. They said what the heck lets give it a try. They came out and repaired the flame sensor although it took them a couple of tries and the work area is so small. But they got it working and it is still working as of today. Love these guys and their unparalleled service. A word of caution is to check what local repair services are available before buying something from the internet. In this case it would have cost me more to have it repaired by an authorized repair facility with bench charges, parts and shipping it back and forth then it would cost to throw it out and buy a new one.

Identified several major leaks in the heat pump and furnace coils. Recommended against filling with refrigerant due to possibility of it being gone within a day or two. Didnt want me to waste money on something that may not last long. Asked them to provide an estimate for work to replace heat pump and furnace and calibrating our two stage system correctly.

Worked fast. Had to get a part but came back late evening with the part so as not to leave me without heat.

They did an excellent work! The subcontractors they hired were outstanding.

When I called Dan about our 22 year old furnace that was slowly going out over a 4-5 day period, he was able to come out the same night to look at it. He immediately got it working enough to generate heat (it was 50 degrees in the house and I have two small children and an infant). He then worked on both a repair and replacement option for us. Both were exceptionally reasonable and his efficiency in obtaining these quotes was outstanding. We chose to replace the furnace and paid $3000 WITH install. I had fully expected to be paying more and did not expect same day service. IHe returned the next day with the furnace and completed the install within 4-6 hours. It was 30 degrees outside at the time. He and his son worked non-stop until the job was complete. It was probably somewhere around 48-60 hrs from the first point of contact with Dan until we had a new working furnace. I have spent weeks working with contractors on similar projects, with less success, a significantly more expensive and less effective product, and without the professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic that both Dan and his son exhibited. I was blown away. They don't make them like this anymore. Dan was responsive, fully knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and friendly. All for a price you can't beat.

I came home last night to no heat. Looked up some companies on Angles List and left messages with 3. Todd Air was the first to call back and gave me a time frame for a service call. They called later to let me know they might be late. The work was done as quickly as possible after they explained what the problem was. The fee was reasonable, they were professional and even turned the lights off when done! I plan to call them back in 2-3 months for the spring service on my ac. Will definitely call them for any other future needs.

Todd Air was assigned our claim through HMS Home Warranty. It is a father and son team, and they quickly diagnosed the problem. The blower was badly damaged on our 16 year old furnace, so they removed it and advised they would need to get the new part and come back to install it. They said that if it was in stock at Carrier, they would be back the next day to install it. I got a call at 5:30pm saying they made it to Carrier before it closed and could come by that evening to install it. They came back and were done by 7:00pm. It was a very positive experience in contrast to the poor service on our last Home Warranty claim with another contractor. They were honest, experienced, and punctual. I will give them my future business for service on our furnace.

They were very nice and efficient and I would use them again.

My German Shepherd dog had chased a cat out from behind out outdoor air compressor and in the fracas tore out the electrical wires coming from the house to the compresor. I called on Thursday morning at about 8:30am and the guys (i think one of them may be an apprentice) were at my house at 11:00. They advised me that they had a minimum $100 service call charge but that this work could likely be done for that price. I asked them, if they had time, if they would look into a mildew like smell coming from my furnace room. After they finished repairing the wires on the compressor, they came in and took a look at the furnace. They spent several extra minutes with me talking about the system, what we might expect when it comes time to replace the system, and other miscellaneous things related to their field. It was clear that they wanted to make me a long term customer, not just get my $100 that day, and I respect that.

Our air conditioner went out while we were away on a long weekend. We called the day we returned and Todd Air had someone out the next day. The team from Todd Air diagnosed and fixed the problem within 10 minutes, then monitored the AC unit for a while to make sure it was functioning properly and cooling the air to target temperature. They were professional, courteous, prompt and obviously knew what needed to be done and how to do it efficiently.

On a Friday afternoon I noticed my air conditioning was running continuously but the house was not cooling. I checked and the blower was not blowing cool air. I called Todd Air the same day and they offered to come the next day between 9 and 12 as they already had another call in the area. They arrived on time about 9:30. They were professional, courteous, and approachable, and answered all my questions as they did the inspection and work. They showed me the damaged part and explained how it can happen. The heat pump is 19 years old. I would easily have believed I would have to replace the entire system. However, they said they saw no reasons it would not last considerably longer, and pointed out that half of the neighbors' units (this is a condo building) were the same as mine and still running. I asked about brands of new systems and they offered a brand recommendation (Trane) and reason why. I was more than satisfied and felt like I got a bargain, especially considering the temperature was consistently over 90 degrees and humid, and that they came the next day. It is now August 19 that I am writing this and the unit is still working fine.

Dan Todd and his son worked at the problem until it was solved. There was some- mis-wiring. I can't say enough good things about this company!

Danny was very patient and meticulously checked all the components of the furnace and thermostat. Danny and his son determined a loose wire connection was causing the problem and they were able to fix it. I truly appreciate that they both took the time to listen to me describe the problem and answer any questions I had. I will use Todd Air in the future for maintenance and repairs and would recommend them to others looking for a good heating and air conditioning company.

Very profesional and neat.They took the time to explain what they were doing and how my system needed to be brought up to code.I would use them again and highly recomend them to anyone in need of HVAC repairs,replacement or maintenance.

I woke up that morning feeling a bit chilly and checked the thermostat. It was several degrees colder than it was programmed for. I could hear the blower going but no hot air was coming out of the vents. When I checked the furnace and the circuit breaker, everything was in the correct position and doing a "reset" didn't help. The furnace was not lighting. I called Todd Air and left a message. The owner returned my call within hours and set a time frame to be here that afternoon. He and his employee arrived within the time frame and checked the furnace. We were informed of the problem, they went out to pick up the appropriate part and returned with it exactly when he said they would. Moments later it was installed and the furnace was back online producing heat. They really know their job and are fantastic about response time and dedication to getting the job done correctly and as soon as possible. We have used them for over 20 years and have always been very pleased with their service. I highly recommend them to anyone and often tell my friends about them when I hear they need similar work done.

Outstanding. Father and son team spent over two hours discussing by heat pump system. Definitely were not satisfied until they had the problem figured out.
