The move went smoothly, nothing broken or damaged from what I can tell so far. However, things that were stated in the estimate didn't happen such as the Door Jam Guards or the Laying of Paper to protect flooring. They were also to take my potted plants as stated on the estimate, and I was required to move them and go back later on and get them. Good thing it was a local move, because I wasn't prepared to put them in my car in my first trip to my new home. The movers were to arrive between 8-9. I received a call at 7:45 stating they were going to go get gas and then be on their way from about 1 hour or so away. They came at 9:30. They had no idea of what they were to bring, even though there was a paper attached to my estimate telling them to bring the refrigerator, washer, dryer and other large items. I had to go to settlement, and my parents were in charge so I kept calling them to remind the movers to bring other items I'd think of. The completed the move at about 3:15. Two of the movers were EXCELLENT, they were polite and deserving of a tip. They worked very hard and were like I said excellent. The driver of the truck had complaints the entire day! He at first complained how far away I was. Well, if your company serves that area that shouldn't be a complaint! Then he complained how many boxes we had on the estimate it said 60...it was about 150. Not my fault that the estimator at my home couldn't have made a better estimate! He constantly said he's rather move furniture, and state how the gentleman that did the estimate was a family member of the company and a moron in so many words. My father spoke with him and apparently he had family issues going on, so I understand being in a mood but to complain about moving boxes...isn't that the point of being a mover?? He also complained that they were only getting paid for 8 hours, and how did I get "do not exceed the estimate in my contract"??? If they left at 7:45 on their way to get gas, and go home around 4:30. That is approximately eight hours, he was acting like this took 12 hours. Our estimate said 8-10 hours...so who knows. I ended up tipping everyone evenly but if I did it again I would give it all to the two young guys who worked hard and didn't have a bad thing to say about anyone.

See above!! I had 4 floors of stuff to move, and they did it in record time. Bobby the foreman was outstanding with his crew, and all were very professional.
