Perry Moving & Storage

In general, this was a fine experience. The biggest issue we had was that some items were put in boxes without being packed in paper or otherwise protected. Having said that, nothing was broken. There were a few small nicks on some furniture. All our stuff didn't fit into the truck which was a little disconcerting. The movers made arrangements for a second truck to show up the same day and pack the rest and bring it over, so it worked out in the end. The movers were polite, hard working, and put everything in the rooms we asked them to. Big items were reassembled as requested.

Perry Moving, showed up within the time range given to me and gave me a 45 min. prior to arrival call, great. They moved my large and heavy items such as tv's sofas, bed and dressers. Overall pretty good, they where fast and set up furniture and positioned items in desired places within each room. Insurance is a little expensive for just coverage for moving from one place to another though and ends after item is placed in new location. Which I was only able to check if tvs come on not for lose of pixel etc. but items turned out to be fine.

They did a good job. They were very professional. They wrapped up the things that needed to be wrapped up. They followed my guidance and everything. They were very accommodating. They had excellent reviews, so I used them. They arrived on time and didn't dilly-dally.

As soon as the company arrived to do an estimate the company seemed like a reputable company. Sam Perry was efficient and informative. His estimate for packing, moving, and storage came in under what was expected. Thankfully, we only need their services for packing and moving, in the end. This all went well with no items being broken or going missing.

Overall, it was good experience...certainly the best moving company we've every used. Compared to other moves and movers that we have used, Perry Moving was far and above in quality and customer service. Due to liens on our new house, we were uncertain of our closing date until two days before we could close. Thus, we needed to book movers very quickly. On the same day of my initial phone call, a representative from Perry was able to come out to our house to give us an estimate. Although they couldn't move on our first preferred move date (which was only about 5 days away...no moving company of decent quality could move us then), they were the only higher quality moving company that could move us on our second choice date. The estimate they gave seemed a bit high, however, it was true to what we were charged...no hidden costs or additional fees. The movers charged by the hour and did arrive 45 min late (although still charging for it). That was about our only negative for the experience. The house was meticulously packed - not a glass or plate broken. The crew was courteous and professional in both appearance and demeaner. The move went very smoothly. The crew dis-assembled and re-assembled our furniture well. One (albeit cheap quality) desk had a leg break. The movers immediately took it back in the truck and are fixing it now for us (for no charge). They also removed boxes on the day of the move and are returning to pick up the remainder of the boxes and packing materials. No damage to the old house or the new house. Overall, a good experience.

This was better than I could have ever expected, the people involved in my move were excellent. This was a difficult move with lots of unexpected twits and turns, all of which were handled easily by Perry movers. Thank you all.

Great job ! There were several technical challenges in terms of moving a wall unit, but the crew was imaginative and professional. From start to finish, the team worked very h****** a hot day, and were professional all the way. They even checked with me before taking breaks to re-hydrate and catch their breaths. They even took pains to make sure that all the supporting hardware for reassembling shelves, etc., was in place for reassembly. Can't recommend them highly enough !

Everything went well. We were very impressed. The crew was friendly and professional. They sent four men to pack us up, four to load, and three to deliver. Two of the people were the same all three days and we developed a good rapport. They took care of our belongings and knew what they were doing. They took apart our furniture and reassembled it in our new home. The office staff and sales people were also very friendly and helpful with answering questions and arranging the details ahead of time. Moving is very stressful but they made it as easy as possible with their great work. The total cost was more than the estimate due to more packing materials being needed than originally estimated, but the price was still competitive when compared to the other estimates we received. The only hiccups in the process were a few boxes meant for storage coming to our home. Other than that, everything was done according to our instructions. We currently have items in their storage facility so I can't say a lot about that yet, only that the process of getting things to storage went very well. We strongly recommend Perry to anyone going through a move.

Overall, the service went well. I highly recommend them and very detail-oriented. Also, very careful with the furniture and home, impressive.

I had packed most of my items, but there were still some items that needed to be packed and they very kindly helped pack them for me. They deliver the packing boxes to your house and they have free recycled boxes you can pick up yourself. They loaded the truck and then moved me to an apartment on the second floor in Pennsylvania. They also took additional items they had packed to a nearby storage unit. The experience was great, they do a good job and are very thorough. From the people in the office to the movers themselves they were all very good people and good at what they do. They are very careful.

Absolutely incredible above & beyond expectations! Bobby and Mike deserve the highest praise! They were polite, positively helpful in every way possible. Wrapped each item individually (even when I told them they didn't have to be that careful). Not only were the punctual, but they had a terrific system for getting the job done and done right - both working constantly! I am so impressed with this company, their employees, their work ethic, their price - everything as a whole. I picked this company due to their great Angie's List comments and now I understand why those comments are there! Add me to the list of satisfied customers!

The move went extremely well. They showed up on time. The three guys were polite, competent, and they couldn't have been better. It was a lot of work, but they did it in a shorter time than I think others might have been able to get it done.

They had great attention to detail and personal phone calls. When I asked them where I could find boxes, they told me they had boxes that I could pick up at no charge. That saved me a lot of money. No moving company has ever done this for me. They were on time and did the move well. I asked them to move several items of furniture around and they did. They were the most professional moving company I have every used. They are super highly recommended.

We were thrilled with every aspect of Perry's services. The move went without a glitch. Unlike previous moves, nothing was lost or broken. The movers were very professional. They did everything we asked and were friendly and helpful. The Perrys are great too and made me feel comfortable about a very stressful time in my life. Very well. Earl and the guys were friendly, helpful and efficient. e had rain on the 19th so they stopped to make sure our things didn't get wet. They also moved boxes we had brought over earlier. Thanks for the extra help.

Service was top notch from start to finish. Initial communications was via e-mail. They asked me to provide an inventory (an estimated list of things for them to move) by e-mail, which I did. I also provided photographs of my apartment - not sure if they used that. From the information I sent, they estimated a price of $1,100. The actual job came in at $1025, but at my request I did some of the work originally asked them to estimate, like reassembling the bedroom furniture, because I wasn't done painting my bedroom yet. I suspect that if they had done all the work I originally requested, their estimate would have been almost exactly correct. The folk from Perry arrived on time on the day of the move, and worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. I was a little concerned paying by the hour, but all three crewmembers were working hard every second they were there. They couldn't have been more careful with my belongings if they had been their own - amazingly, every single thing arrived without a scratch or dent or tear. The crew treated me, and my belongings with the utmost respect. They even took the time to explain how to disassemble/assemble my furniture should I ever need to do that in the future. I highly recommend this very professional company.

All went very well. Actually, the only thing I was unhappy about was that they left at four before unpacking a few more specific items I'd asked for their help with. I also requested some help assembling the new furniture, but I think that after 8.5 hours, they were just ready to go. I hadn't clarified how long they could work beforehand, so it might be good to discuss that specifically. In any event, the work they did was top notch.

Free Estimate. We packed our boxes ourselves. They wrapped and padded all the furniture. They provided free wardrobe boxes. Three very friendly and hardworking movers completed the job in about 7.5 hours. The movers were very careful with all of our things! This was the first time we've moved and not a thing got broken or had a scatch on it. They did an excellent job!

The distance they moved my things was about 30 miles. They loaded and unloaded the things. They installed my washer and dryer. They were very good, careful and made sure they didn t break anything. They were punctual and also their price was reasonable.

Sam Perry took a very detailed list of my belongings via email and gave me a close estimate to my final price. Todd, Carter and David were very efficient, careful and prompt. They padded and wrapped everything. Almost a month later, Eric and Mike unloaded my things as carefully as they had loaded them. I was extremely pleased with the service I received!

The crew was the most efficient I've ever dealt with and I have dealt with over 20 companies in the last 10 years. Because the new residence wasn't available till the next day, they stored the truck in their secure lot overnight at no cost. Their estimate was below all competitors but their work exceeded our expectations. I can't say enough about this company. Bobby, the crew chief, was exceptional. I hated to see him go.

The 3 movers did a great job of moving me. They were courteous and friendly and efficient. It took 6.5 hours, which was a little more than the estimate, but it's hard I think to estimate how much stuff you really have until you pack it all up! The movers put together all my furniture and made it so much easier to do the rest. They even suggested where to place furniture that might look appealing. They also moved the dining room table a couple of times to see which angle looked best.

Great experience. Would hire again for all our moving needs.

Fantastic! Sam was prompt with the estimate and responsive to my questions. The price was HALF what another company wanted. Postal, Charlie, and Dave were professional, polite, and efficient. We had a fun day together and by the end of the day, we were joking and having fun. It was the easiest move I ever made. The guys worked hard but were fun to be around too.
