This is by far the best moving experience I have ever had. I am a military brat so I have moved more times that I care to remember. This crew (4 man crew) arrived on time at 9:00 AM sharp and went straight to work. They were courteous, efficient and extremely careful. Everything arrived at my new home in tact, nothing scratched, dented or broken. I was given an estimate of 7 hours to complete the move, they were done in 5 hours which saved me money. I think it helped that I had everything packed and ready to go when they arrived. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend this moving company. Again, best moving experience I have ever had!

It went phenomenally! Their packing and then unpacking both went really well, and when we got everything out of storage not a single item was damaged. They also came in slightly under the time/price estimate. The crew was friendly, professional, and they barely took a break! The company and the crew were all great, and I'd recommend them highly.

Best estimate in the bunch as far as price goes. Estimator was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The crew was exactly on time, were the hardest workers i've come across. Nice guys all of them and they took care with all my things. Nothing was broken or damaged and they finished early before the estimate time. Thats not because the estimate was off its because the crew worked their butts off! I'd definitely hire this company again and recommend them to friends and family. The whole move went off with out a hitch. Well worth every penny.

I'm very disappointed that this move did not live up to all the good reviews of this company. I should have listened to my gut at the first appointment, a Saturday morning consultation at 11:00am. The consultation was a no-show. When I called the company to see what happened, I didn't receive an apology, but they scheduled Link to come out Monday evening, and he was wonderful. Link was one of the few bright spots throughout the process. He gave us a comprehensive estimate and gave a couple tips and suggestions to keep things in our budget. With a 19 month old at home and two full-time working parents with long commutes, we were hoping for a low-stress full service company to help us pack and move all of our stuff. Things started to get concerning on the Thursday morning of the move. The packers showed up at 8:15am, a very reasonable time, but they were much slower than movers I have had in the past. Once they brought in all supplies inside the house they took a 15 minute smoke break. I understand breaks are necessary, but that seemed excessive. They were very courteous and very nice, but they took their time. They advised us that many larger items, like the Microwave or Toaster Oven did not need to be packed since the movers would pad everything. They provided us with boxes and instructions for bedding for the next morning, since we were still staying at the house that night. So, Friday morning was where the trouble began. The crew arrived very promptly at 8:15 and unfortunately my stepfather was rude to the crew and started the morning off on a sour note. I apologized profusely and offered drinks to try to make things better and sent my stepfather away to disappear. There were four guys there and the guys started lecturing us for all the things the packers told us do. They made negative comments that the Microwave and Toaster Oven weren't boxed (see above that the packers told us not to) and they yelled at us for putting all the bedding in the box, since that didn't leave room for the wardrobe. I would not use Perry Moving again in the future and I will advise others not to do so as well. Overall, the four guys really hustled to get stuff onto to the truck and I was actually impressed they were able to load disassemble our sleeper sofa and everything else we had. However, their speed turned into a negative when they left the house in such a rush that they left a ton of stuff inside! Due to all the stress of the move they left without a walk-through. What kind of movers don't complete a final walk-through??? So, of course they left the Microwave, the Toaster Oven, Ironing board, garbage cans, boxes, shoe racks, organizers and other small items. I immediately called the coordinator Daniel, to let him know of the oversight. I didn't get a call back until Monday afternoon, and it took about 4 separate car trips to bring over all the items that a quick walkthrough would have easily identified and corrected. I finally spoke with Dan after work on Monday and let him know of all of my concerns listed above. He advised that he would look into the matter and get back to me shortly. Three days later (I think that is more than a reasonable amount of time for a response) and I haven't heard a thing. One last weird thing is that they put my husband on the spot to complete a review of the company. That seems very biased to me. My husband wasn't even aware of ALL the stuff they left behind, due to all the commotion of the day. Mostly everyone was friendly, but I would not use this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to others. Overall, this was a negative experience for me and more stress than I was hoping for.

We would absolutely use Perry Moving again. They were the one bright spot in the difficult process of a long-distance move. They had no problem going the extra mile to make sure our belongings were where we needed them when we needed them. Mr. Perry is personally great to work with and I was well at ease with him and every member of his crew. They take the headache away. Please know, they are not the cheapest, but we did our homework and after the whole experience and almost a year to reflect on it, these guys were the best value we could have gotten for any price. BTW - took so long to review as we were off Angies List for a while.

Erik & crew did a great job. We had them move a couple of big pieces twice from one room to the next. They did it all with a great attitude. They are awesome.

Great! Team was wonderful. We had lots of fragile/delicate stuff and they took great care with everything. We also had lots of stops to our new house and they were great. No delay/long breaks. Highly recommend.

It was dreadful from the beginning. The supervisor called me the day before the scheduled pack day and asked if they could start the day before so get a jump on things. I hesitated and against my better judgment allowed it. I had done a lot of packing and they were to pack the rest of the house. The came in and immediately started packing and labeling boxes with yellow numbered stickers. I pointed out many times that the packing and labeling were overlapping and they were taking boxes out to the truck without labels. This was of particular concern since someone else's belongings would also be on the same truck. The men came back the following day to finish. My husband and I had to leave to go to settlement and while they were still packing and when we returned the movers were gone, leaving a mess of their half empty drinks (on my newly refinished hardwood floors), leftover boxes, empty tape rolls, bubble wrap, etc. all over my house. They also neglected to finish packing some of my belongings so I called the the office and the excuse I was given by the owner of the company was the supervisor had to leave to beat traffic to pick up his child from school or daycare. He returned to pick up the items he neglected to take with the rest of my belongings. After they left I found a piece of my wooden platform bed frame, which they had broken when it was taken apart. I was initially promised my belongings would be packed after the other person's and they would unload my things first (so my things would never be off the truck since I wasn't sure each box was properly labeled). This did not happen. Perry Movers does not use the same crew for packing and unpacking, something I've come to realize is very important. Please make sure your mover used the same people! They hired local men to do the unpacking and they were not as competent as the packing guys. The tore my queen size mattress carrying it up the stairs upon delivery. After breaking my bed while packing, my husband wouldn't let them assemble any furniture after it was unloaded. You MUST count each box and check it off at delivery. DO NOT let them leave without knowing everything is accounted for and do not sign and paperwork that you've received everything. This could void any future claim. While unpacking we found other people's boxes in our home and a fragile lamp thrown in a box with a bowling ball (not kidding). There was other damage but I think the lamp and bowling ball says enough... The remainder of our belongings were finally delivered in late August, 2014 after they finally tracked down the items that were in their truck for three weeks. Many lessons learned from this experience.... and none of them good.

Al and crew called before arriving to determine what additional packing supplies might be needed. They arrived on time, they were professional and effiecient. I met them at the destination and the same level of care and professionalism were exhibited throughout the move.

The packers did a great job and were quick and efficent. The movers were the same. Everyone was friendly and polite. At the far end they were patient wit me about placing the boxes and furniture. The company was helpful. When we couldn't take delivery right away and held it they put it into storage.
