Perry Moving & Storage

Great company! I had them start in NJ and pick up everything from a storage unit. A week later they got everything from my house in Maryland and went to another location and loaded another storage unit and later that week they delivered everything in Florida. They are precise, careful and professional!

This really was the best move I've ever had. Sam Perry came to our place, gave us an estimate after looking through our possessions. The movers who came were professional, experienced, and friendly. Bobby, the foreman was exceptional. They went slightly over the estimated six hours, but did honored the estimate and stuck to the original price. One lampshade was cracked during the move, but the movers were up front and mentioned it right away and apologized. Everything else was professionally handled with packing tape and blankets. I would definitely higher them again.

Bobby, David and Ernest worked carefully and expediently throughout the entire move. I couldn't have been happier with their courtesy and work ethic. In addition, the communication with the sales consultant, dispatcher and office manager were outstanding. The only drawback was that they have a minimum contract for 4 hrs, so if your job takes less time, which mine did, you are still committed to the full contract. I wouldn't call this an issue because I knew this up front...just didn't know how long my move would actually take...but they worked tirelessly from start to finish and would definitely hire again...they were great!

Perry Moving and Storage uses Wheaton in some of their interstate moves, but Our drivers and movers were all Perry people. Everyone from Steve, the sales rep, to Tara in the office, to the movers at pickup -Vernon, Doug and Antonio and at the delivery end- Maurice and the other guy with him (Mike?) were outstanding. They were friendly, efficient and conscientious and had great communication skills. I interviewed 5 movers and as concerned as I was days prior to the move, my concerns floated away as soon as i met Perry’s movers. What a great bunch of guys! They all made what could have been a very stressful, expensive and worrisome event, fun instead! Tara communicated regularly about the status of the movers and even took calls from home. With some of the horror stories I've read about movers holding belongings hostage and demanding more money before delivering or they would just drive off with the belongings, I was on high alert, but this company is terrific. They inspected everything before they put it in the truck, took pictures in some cases and made a very thorough inventory. They wrapped the furniture in blankets, wrapped saran wrap around the blankets and then taped everything. Everything was delivered when promised (within a week after it was picked up- Maryland to Oklahoma). Nothing was broken or lost. Ive moved countless times in my life and this was by far the smoothest, least stressful move I have ever experienced. I cannot say enough good things about Perry moving and Storage! Thank you guys!

I solicited a moving request via Angie's List on 27 Sep. On 2 Oct I still hadn't been contacted. I called them on 2 Oct and informed the receptionist of my request and that I still hadn't been contacted. She provided no explanation why I hadn't been contacted and said she'd find someone to help. I waited on hold for 15 mins during which she never came back online to occasionally to say, sorry for the wait, etc., nothing. I gave up. Unsatisfactory.

The move from start to finish took four hours on the nose, and cost slightly under the estimate. Service was outstanding, with movers showing great care not to knick walls and doorways with odd-sized and awkward furniture as they navigated staircases and hallways. They dismantled a large corner computer desk to get it through a tight doorway and then reassembed it for me. They even helped me by moving a large (heavy) plasma TV and console table that the previous movers had put in the wrong room. The Perry Movers were polite and friendly to boot. Can't recommend them highly enough.

It went very well. They completed the packing and loading in one day which saved me money. The crew on the Columbus end were very helpful, worked fast and hard. Nothing damaged.

Several large house items had to be moved interstate so they had to be stored until there was a truck heading up to New England. I was a bit nervous about that but the folks at Perry Moving were professional, punctual and reliable. All paperwork was clear to understand and I got copies of everything that I signed on pickup and delivery. They blanket wrapped expensive Teak furniture and it was all delivered without a scratch. Just as important, there was no pressure on either end to "tip" the movers. Communication was excellent and I was contacted by voice and text to meet the delivery truck. I didn't realize how good Perry was until I dealt with another mover. If I ever have to move things again in Maryland, I wouldn't hesitate to use Perry Moving again.

Excellent. I didn’t hire them; my parents did. I was there for the entire move and the crew was phenomenal. I used Perry about 6 years ago when I moved from Crofton to Odenton, and I recommended them to my oarents. I will definitely use them for any future moves.

Completed estimate using online tool, it was not accurate and underestimated work (this somehow was implied to be our fault). They also sent even fewer packers than were indicated on estimate making job go slowly. The cast of packers and movers was always rotating and there were constant complaints about how there were so many people who didn’t show up. Some movers were smoking while unloading our items causing some of our baby’s things to smell for smoke. Boxes were so generically labeled to be almost useless. Needed to open everything to find things and ultimately rearrange many of the boxes. Broke a bookshelf and didn’t tell us. Company was recommended by everyone we spoke to, and the foreman was great, but the job chaotic and we won’t be able to recommend ourselves.

It took a very long time and they were good to work with. They came on time and were here over 11 hours. Unfortunately we missed 2 boxes, a file cabinet and a trash can lid. Not bad!

The packers were supposed to arrive at 9 on Monday morning and did not arrive until about 5:30 pm which put us behind. The packers and movers came at 9 on Tuesday and had us packed, loaded, moved and unloaded by 4:30pm. Perry is reviewing our bill and we think they will be making an adjustment for the inconvenience.

Everthing was wrapped perfectly. The doorways were even padded. Exceptional job, best move ever and we have moved 8 times.

The Perry team did a terrific job from start to finish. I got my estimate promptly (even used their video capability). The two man packing crew led by Don did a careful, well-organized packing job, which made the move and the subsequent unpacking effort much easier. The four man moving team, led by Vernon, was very thoughtful and careful, thinking carefully and creatively how best to move my very heavy, challenging pieces up and down stairs without damaging them. Every person on the team was professional, respectful, positive and helpful, and moved furniture to exactly where I wanted it. They worked a very long day and were pleasant throughout. Perry was not the cheapest option, but I felt great confidence in their team and I am very happy that I chose them for my move.

It went great! They were right on time and VERY professional. They were concerned about making sure things were protected from scratches and NOTHING was scratched or damaged and some things were heavy and odd shaped. Definitely worth the money and definitely would recommend them to people moving.

WOW these guys are good! This is the second move Perry Moving and Storage has helped us with; although this one was a bit more complicated since it involved 4 stops. Sam’s estimate was reasonable; the crew was on target so no surprises there at the end of the day. The crew, Bradley, Richard and Dwayne, worked hard, took care of the furniture whether an antique hutch with fancy glass and carvings or an IKEA table. They packed electronics and stopped to politely explain when asked a question. They reassembled it all in the chosen location(s), and did so in reasonable time. The office staff was just as easy to deal with and quickly responded to emailed questions or concerns. I am happy to recommend Perry Moving and Storage and if you are fortunate enough to get this crew- you will be lucky indeed!

THE MOVE COULD NOT HAVE GONE BETTER. IT WAS VERY COLD THAT DAY AND THE MEN (CARTER, DAVE AND DOUG) WERE FANTASTIC.

It went very well. The guys were fast and careful. They were very nice and they definitely knew what they were doing. We even had a few laughs.

Everything went very well. This team was on time both days and delivered our belongings to our new home the next day on time. Everyone was very courteous very hard working and helped in placing our furniture where we asked them to. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service given to us. I would recommend Perry Moving and Storage to anyone looking for a pleasant experience in moving. The service was excellent from the beginning to end. I have referred them to three other families. GREAT JOB PERRY MOVING !!

Everything is in storage now. Great service so far. Will rate again when move is complete. Worked with us to solve a big problem.

Awesome. These guys (Carter & his crew) were beyond amazing. They arrived on time, very professional and efficient - had the furniture wrapped and loaded on the truck in no time. Traveled to the condo and had it unloaded and unwrapped and put in its locations in minimal time. These gentlemen were a joy to work with and were very personable too. They took all the stress out of our moving day!

Everything that I was promised, this company went above and beyond to deliver. They truly exceeded all of my expectations. Warren and Eric contacted me the morning of my move and was actually waiting for my arrival. We began the move and these guys went above and beyond to make sure that each item was placed wherever I needed. They even helped me unpack certain items and removed all empty boxes. I can't say enough about this experience. Moving is very stressful and this company helped me to relieve some of my anxiety. This company was not the cheapest company, actually they were the most expensive but I felt compelled to go with this company after I had another company come to my home who was competing and this company spoke highly of this moving company. That spoke volume to me. I have told all of my friends and coworkers about my moving experience. I would definitely recommend this moving company. They were superb!!!!
