Perry went above and beyond during this move. Extra personnel and equipment was required after the move began and was provided at no additional cost. The movers were professional, quick and truly careful with our furnishings. Rich Perry, one of the owners, even showed up near the end of the move to assist and make sure everything was done well. We could not be more pleased with the price, professionalism and efficiency of the service provided.

We have never experienced a cross-country move like this, and we hope to NEVER AGAIN, and NEVER with this company, who in actuality, we did NOT hire. We hired a company called Prestige Worldwide Moving who stated they had their own trucks, and then bait and switched us after the sale was made to this subcontractor. We were contacted by Barry from Prestige after finding them on this website with an A rating, and he did a bang-up sales job -- saying all the right things and giving us a price of $1700 for a piggyback moving job. After the sales job was made and my deposit, this "Barry" did nothing but evade calls from my husband and myself and actually hung up on us a total of 6 times, without ever calling back. Weeks after booking the move, I had not heard anything from Prestige, so in contacting their office, I was told that the subcontracted movers were going to be at my location a day before the actual desired day, with 3 movers. We waited for them on that day (after turning off all of our utilities pending the move) only to have them not show. In calling the office, we were told that they would show up the following and actual planned day with an apology that they had not let us know. When Perry showed up, we with only one additional assistant, we were automatically billed for being in a 3rd story apartment with steps (although that was clearly written on our agreement with Prestige). In case anyone is unaware of how moving works, you buy a certain amount of cubic feet. It literally is 12 inches on the truck floor all the way to the ceiling. So if you have an item which is over 4'x4', it would not fit in the truck if you purchased 300 cubic feet. Even though we had sold almost everything we owned, we still had to buy an additional 100 cubic feet, even though there was no way to prove they actually filled the truck to the ceiling. That cost almost an additional $700. All total, with all of the surcharges, etc., our $1700 move turned into over $2800. Perry actually billed us over $3000, but once I called the Dispatch office and they reapplied our military and quick booking discount, it brought it back down. Perry's words were that "he forgot" to give us the discounts after he billed us. After our items left on the truck, and we flew one way to Vegas, our belongings literally "disappeared". We were contacted by Dispatch approximately one week later and told that we would be contacted by ANOTHER company who had our items within 24-48 hours before delivery. We waited another 8 days before that even happened. The delivery by this other company, who was NOT Perry Moving, went smoothly and although they also had only two people, went every quickly. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE MOVING OR PERRY MOVING -- TOTAL NIGHTMARE

Everyone arrived on time both days. They worked diligently not wasting time. The movers aid not bring their own water and I gave them the rest of our chilled water bottles at the condo I didn’t have chilled water bottles at the house, but offered plastic cups & tap water.

Arrived on time, packed efficiently, kept me informed of any known issues, always friendly & professional in all communications.

Crew was friendly, professional & extremely hardworking, I'm very impressed with how fast they moved everything. Ashed to make sure I was happy with the location of everything.

They arrived on time and get right to worked, worked very hard and nonstop until everything was packed. Asked questions as they went and explained everything.

Excellent! It took a crew of 5 guys and two trucks about 10 hours on one of the hottest days of the year. They worked hard, took good care of both houses, and were really nice and friendly. The total cost was $500 less than the estimate. They even disassembeled and re-assembled four ikea-like beds, which would have taken me hours to do. The only bad part was finding cigarette butts in the yard after they left. They smoked in their truck, not in the houses, but please don't littler! If you know you're going to smoke, bring a can or something to throw your butts in.

I was beyond impressed with Perry moving and storage. The entire process from getting an estimate to the final move went amazing. Prior to the moving day they called to confirm the date and times. On the moving day I also received a call from their management to check on the progress of the move and to see if I needed anything. Customer service at this company is really top notch. As for the movers themselves, I have moved houses 4 times and I have never seen a more hardworking, dedicated, and professional crew. On the day of the move it was 94 degrees outside and it didn't stop this crew from just going to work immediately. Our 4 bedroom 4 story townhouse was packed up in 2 1/2 hours. The crew was so efficient that the job actually was completed earlier than estimated so we ended up paying less than the original estimate (something that has never happened to me before). I would definitely recommend Perry Moving to anyone looking for a professional, hardworking, and fair-priced moving company.

Entire come was extremely friendly, very helpful, would definitely work with them again. They were in time, good price, recommended to neighbors and friends.

Professional, on time from MD to NC, began work right away declined break offers as it was 79° In AC . Realigned pictures offered to hang long heavy mirror (in declined to make a decision) soft spoken with each other, respectful to each other without attitude timely respectful to us. Thank you for sending AL and crew to felt like friendly to us and sad when they left. They are welcome to stop & see us anytime in Jacksonville NC.

Team arrived early and from start of delivery to end everyone was polite, hard working & very helpful. We had one minor damage that was immediately taken care of.
