The crew was excellent. They were friendly and highly professional. We had no damage issues and they came in under estimate.

The first day of packing went very well. Three efficient, professional men who were friendly and hardworking. The first day of moving also went effortlessly with six gentlemen who worked hard and were happy to please. Unfortunately the second day of the move was with four men, two of whom seemed friendly but inexperienced with the other two not as happy to please. After a very serious, unfortunate incident involving two of the crew, I found one of the owners to be defensive, while stating how busy he was, while the other owner had absolutely no time for me at all. I am shocked how a company with a seemingly good reputation can dismiss a serious incident with just a simple I'm sorry. After requesting a return follow up phone call from the owner, which I never received, I called to follow up. While I was informed about the high numbers of customers and employees they have, not once did I feel like my serious complaint was being addressed. Shame on a company that is so impressed by their numbers but does not carry that over to their quality of service.

Everything went almost perfect, at the end they had one accident, dropped a piece a furniture which broke, but it was repaired within a week including repairing the wall damage. Regardless of the accident and the damage, I would hire them again to do another move anytime.

They were responsive before the move, professional during the process. I would have rated them far better had they executed the move. However, their parent company, Stevens, then took over. The cross country driver and his wife did an OK job. She told me that her husband had moved everything from Perry's storage onto his truck alone. This didn't sound good, since we had some very heavy pieces. Indeed, there was some significant damage to some pieces - broken leg off sofa, scratched lacquer and chips from expensive Italian cabinets, 4 broken lamp bases, broken chair arm and more. When I went to file an insurance claim, only a broken bookcase was reimbursed. Perry's parent company, Stevens, stated that any damage had to be written on the invoice at delivery, even though we paid for "full valuation insurance" with no deductible. They denied all responsibility. I contacted Rich Perry who offered to intervene on my behalf. It turns out that he has no power with Stevens and was unable to get Stevens to honor the insurance claim. He made offers to help, which took time and numerous inquiries by me. He achieved nothing, wasting more time. He reminded me that I could go to arbitration, which involves paying more money. I never want to hear the name Stevens Van Lines again. You might consider using Perry for a local move, but do not consider them for an inter-state move. Stevens has a terrible reputation for handling any insurance claims. Having moved across the country on numerous occasions, I have never dealt with such a negative, negligent and irresponsible claims process. I would stay away from Stevens!!! Perry is their local representative - forewarning.

Great! The team was prompt, friendly, and polite. The move went smoothly, nothing was broken, and everything was placed where we directed in our new home.

Perry Moving did a great job packing the truck. We already packed all boxes ourselves and Perry moving did an excellent job wrapping and taping up the rest of our furniture. We had fourteen days in between homes and they were able to keep all our stuff safely stored on the truck in their warehouse until move-in date. I liked the idea of not having everything packed and unpacked in a truck twice. The crew was punctual and worked really hard. There were also two flights of stairs to deal with at the condo and icy, rainy weather on the pack up day. There was a short trip to a storage unit included also. Thank You Perry Moving for making this a relatively painless move for us.

The moving teams were punctual and very pleasant. Unfortunately, however, at least four small, older pieces of furniture were damaged in the move. The damaged items were eventually well repaired but dealing with the customer service representative was not a good experience as she kept telling us that the items were damaged prior to the move and was not prompt in responding to my e-mail. I felt I was getting the run around. The move management company who had recommended Perry stepped in and helped resolve the issue to our satisfaction. I would recommend that Perry provide enhanced training in three areas: (1) handling of older pieces of furniture; (2) company policy concerning repairs (the customer service person told us that the moving team had not given us correct information when they said the furniture would be repaired and returned by the following week - they should speak with one voice); (3) customer service protocol - don't argue with customers! In all other respects the move went well.

Perfect! If they serve your area, definitely hire them!

After selling my home, Perry Moving helped move the heavy items into my storage unit temporarily. Four months later they moved everything to Florida. The Florida team--David and James--were FANTASTIC!! Personable, professional, courteous, and EXTREMELY helpful! Third time using Perry's and as always, a 5 star experience!

The movers didn't arrive until about 20 minutes after the scheduled window but it went well and nothing was broken.

Very well. Things were were handled carefully and there was no damaged to items moved or the homes. Very professional...we never could have done the move on our own, and they made the day far less stressful than it could have been.

The movers arrived on time and did an excellent job. They moved everything as quickly as they could and were extremely careful not to damage any of the property being moved or any of the walls or floors at either location. The movers were professional and good-humored. I would highly recommend Perry to anyone considering a move.
