Description of Work: They were to repair my leaky roof. They put a tarp over it to last till the spring. The tarp did not cover the ends of the gutters which were already full of leaves, causing the gutters to backup and overflow into my house, creating a worse leak. I bailed, bucketed and siphoned water all winter and spring until I could get someone else to clean up and repair.

Description of Work: We had one of their sales people come to the house to give us a estimate on a kitchen remodel. They finished the measurements and we made an appointment to pick out cabinets at their showroom. It took a month to get that appointment. I felt that was too long. During our wait to meet with Brothers, I had 4 other Kitchen remodelers give us proposals for the job. We went to the Brother's showroom and met with the saleman and a kitchen designer. We recieved an estimate for the job and I decided to check Brothers out with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunaltely, there were too many complaints against them for me to pursue a contract with them.

Description of Work: Contacted "Brothers Services Company" about a Roof replacement estimate. On the appointment date the estimator (Dennis) immediately started trying to inform me about how ALL the other estimates I have acquired were not up to the "Brothers Quality" standard. OK , I thought this is normal, but when he would not stay on point about NORMAL roofing question most consumer's asked, I got very discouraged. When I asked about other estimators using upgraded products such as heavier felt, starter shingles on the eaves , and a ridge vent, 36 inch ice barrier on the edges. His response was yea, I can add all that if you want it. HuH? really? Adding MORE intake venting to the soffit (Smart Vent) without increasing the exhaust of the air with a "Ridge Vent" made NO sense to me. I totally understood what he was trying to say about my roof breathing , But I really took offense to him saying unless we (Brother's) do everything I think you need It a waste of time? Asked about if they used contracted help, He said yes but there is an on-site guy on the job at all times. Not really what I personally prefer. After only 5 minutes of feeling like I was in a boxing match , I asked him to leave , Sales rep was arrogant and I told him he was. Cheesy estimate was lower then half of the other six but, WITHOUT everything else that all other roofers offered I didn't think it was a deal.

Description of Work: Southwest Greens, a division of Brothers Services installed synthetic grass in my dogs yard. Everyone was GREAT! Best company I ever did business with. I'm alittle picky, but this job, I can't find anything wrong. Everyone was friendly and work hard and made myself and four Boxer dog very very happy. No more mud, dirt, sand! The dogs LOVE IT!

Description of Work: Requested estimate for roof repair or replacement. Estimator was overly aggressive, demanded to know what other estimates we had received (we did not comply), never got up on the roof or measured anything, and finally called back with an informal estimate higher than the others we had received.
