+ -1 moreThis was my first experience with a cleaning company, and I needed one quickly and didn't have time to have anyone out for an estimate first. This company was able to give me an estimate over the phone. I was a little nervous about not knowing the exact amount I would owe, as the price was based on the hours worked, and they couldn't tell for sure how long it would take, not having seen my house. The day of the cleaning, the crew arrived and got right to work. They did a great job cleaning, everything sparkled, and they worked quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with the cleaning that they did, and they finished the work faster than I had anticipated, so I was pleased with the price.
Description of Work: I had the windows, kitchen and 2 1/2 baths cleaned in my townhouse.

+ -1 moreIt went great. The ladies did not try to steal time-they never sat down, it just took that long to do a thorough job. I was very happy with the job performance. Would definately hire again and I have already recommended to several people.
Description of Work: I have 3 full baths and a powder room , 5 bedrooms and a basement family room as well as a pool house with another full bath. Total about 3500sq.ft. The 3 ladies arrived and verified that I wanted a DEEP cleaning with baseboards and interior windows and window sills cleans. They started to work right away. They took more time than I thought was necessary for upstairs but it was well done. They moved the furniture and wiped the baseboards down, cleaned the interior windows, dusted THE WALLS and CURTAINS as well as furniture!! They got inside the tubs and cleaned the shower doors and tub walls and tubs. They cleaned the toilet and sinks from top to bottom. The women were very meticulous. They cleaned the tops of furniture, wiped off all pictures, even took the candles and votive cups out of wall hangings and cleaned those plus wiped out microwave and ovens and also emptied my garden window and cleaned it out. I was also impressed that they vacuumed and then removed my decorator area rugs and removed the rubber backing that was stuck to the hardwood floor then proceeded to sweep then mop the floors and of course replaced the rugs once the floor was dry. I also have a built in china closet with the center being open for misc. dust collecting items and an antique organ with ornate decorative spindles which in each case they dusted each item and crevice without being told. They even cleaned around the drapes--dusting them off the best they could without washing them. All in all I was completely delighted with the quality of cleaning these women did. They cleaned it as well as I would have maybe even better. It took 5 to7 hours longer than I had anticipated ;but then again I hadn't planned on them being so thorough . I was paying $25 per hour per person. Started with 3 ladies . then 2 additional people showed up for the last couple of hours . I guess it was dirtier than I thought and they did dust/wipe down the walls of the rooms and clean the interior windows and I never saw any of them sitting down or stop working so it is what it is. I forgot to ask about the coupon which would have given me 15% off by being a member of Angie's list ! I called Jenny and she sent me the 15% back in a check with no problems--after the discount the final amount I paid was only a little more than what I figured. IF YOU WANT YOUR HOUSE LOOKING NEW CALL JENNY FOR A DEEP CLEAN BUT DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE QUICK BECAUSE THEY DO A THOROUGH JOB! I would be glad to give a GREAT reference!

I want to have maid service before moving in.The Jenny gave me $140 for phone estimate.Three maids came to work, and they took three and a half hours for 1,200 SQFT empty house.After working, I found hundreds spots they didn't touch.Also Jenny charges me $380.00 based on time. If you want to have maid service, looking for other maid services.If you have to hire Jenny's, you have to get a paper estimate.when they are working, you must stay with maids for supervising.

+ -1 moreJenny's staff (very professional, pleasant women) cleaned every room thoroughly, using their own equipment and supplies. I've had my house cleaned in the past and this is by far the best I've experienced. Even the leaves on my plants were dusted! My house was so clean when they finished, I didn't want to walk on the floors. :) They performed way beyond my expectations. I have already scheduled another cleaning.
Description of Work: This was a deep, total house cleaning. Because of a recent surgery, I was unable to clean myself. I chose Jenny's based solely on the number of outstanding reviews posted on Angie's List.

Description of Work: I am so thrilled with Jenny's Quality Cleaning Service. Jenny and her crew far exceeded my very high expectations for the cleanliness of my 3,000 square foot home. Jenny answered my calls promptly, worked around my tight schedule for putting my house on the market, was punctual, responsive to my needs, patient and flexible. Her crew was easy to communicate with, were very polite, hard working, and quiet. I could not believe how much work they got done in 3 hours!! The quality of their work is outstanding---an A+.........perfect. My realtor was so impressed with how clean and sparkling my house turned out! So they are returning every 2 weeks to keep my house model perfect. Jenny is an excellent communicator, trustworthy, and takes pride in her work. You can depend on Jenny and her crew.

Description of Work: Jennie's girls have been cleaning my house for over a year now, and while the work is satisfactory, she is very hard to get hold of, having only a cell phone answering service. Calls are not returned promptly. On April 24th, no one came at the appointed time of 11:00, though they are often late or even a little early. I called Jennie that afternoon, but received no response until her husband called a couple of days later to say that she and her mother had suddenly decided to take a vacation. He said he'd get back to me but never did. I would not recommend Jennie's service for several reasons: 1) Difficulty in contacting them, 2) Lack of punctuality of arrival time, 3) Most of her maids speak no English. It is very hard to give instructions to people who do not understand your language. It has been a very frustrating experience, but I will try someone else from your service. But I will no do business with anyone who does not have a web site.

I scheduled what I would call an estimate visit - Jenny would come to my home, walk through and discuss areas to be cleaned, then provide an estimate. I made the appointment through her husband on Friday for the following Monday and Jenny did not show. I did not receive a call to explain and/or reschedule. I also don't feel it was my responsiblity to call them to find out what happened, so I will taking my business elsewhere.

+ -1 moreWe booked an afternoon cleaning for our new home. Jenny called about 20 minutes prior to the cleaners' arrival just as requested since we were not yet occupying the home to give us time to get there and meet them. Three cleaners arrived on time. We went through the rooms of the house and described what we wanted cleaned (everything). The home had been essentially unoccupied for several years so dust, cobwebs and dead bugs had been collecting. Baseboards, windows, doors, floors, carpets, shelving, kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, etc. The team worked very hard for the entire 3 hours starting at the top floor and working down to the basement. When they left, the house was finally something that we looked forward to moving into! They were spot on with their estimate of 3 hours for the job as well. We were absolutely satisfied with the cleaning and would definitely use Jenny's again! Jenny also came by during the work to check on things and followed up afterwards to see if everything looked good.

She was very booked at the time that I wanted to arrange the cleaning, but she was willing to work with my deadline to try and get the house taken care of before my wife's birthday. She managed to get her team in after rescheduling with me twice to work around things that had come up. The team was professional and friendly, cleaning thoroughly while patiently enduring a barrage of questions from my 4 year old. They were there until 6 o'clock in the evening and did not cut any corners to get finished when the time I had paid for was almost up. I would highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: Jenny's team cleaned the house thoroughly and professionally, taking care of all the detailed nooks and crannies I had not had time to address for a while. They swept, dusted, deep cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, vacuumed, and made the house feel like we'd just moved in again.

All I had to do was to get out of their way and let them go to town. My daughter-in-law came to visit that weekend and commented on how clean and neat the house was (and she is a clean-a-holic - believe me). Awesome, awesome job! Worth every penny! + -1 moreJenny and her crew have been cleaning the upper level of our house for almost a year. Coming home to the house after they've done their job is nothing short of bliss. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful they are, how much we trust them in our home - or how much free time this Queen of Clean has added to my weeks. They started out with a complete, detailed clean of every nook and cranny of our main level and after that started biweekly visits to keep things in tip top shape. That first cleaning was about $300, subsequent biweekly cleanings are $150. Space cleaned is about 2500 sq feet. I should also mention that we're not the easiest customers - my parents watch our toddler during the week so there's always someone around and we have to schedule everything around his naps. This means that we have to have a pretty good sense of when Jenny and her ladies will arrive and they've been great in working with us on that. When we have large events here on the weekends, they will even rearrange their schedule to come out on the Friday so that things are still in tip top shape for the event. Her crew is also incredibly honest. Once during a cleaning a candlestick was broken. These things happen and they told me right away, apologizing profusely. The candlestick was no longer made, so Jenny and her husband took to eBay to find me a replacement. At our very next cleaning, she showed up with the replacement in hand and a great story about how they managed to track it down. I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Jenny so far. She's everything that's written about her here and then some.

The owner brought them, reviewed the job, and came at the end to inspect their work.I am thrilled with the job. Once this baseline clean has been performed, maintence cleans take one-third the time. The workers are quiet, thorough, respectful, and professional. Highly recommend this service.

I left some marks and cobwebs up just so I could check on them. They are meticulous, pleasant and professional. Jenny came to check near the beginning of the job and near the end. Jenny's estimate for what it would cost was higher than it turned out to be. They are one of the two best services I've had in about 25 years, and the other one wasn't nearly as pleasant. As they left, one woman was cleaning the outside of the front door and the outside light! Finally, my search for a reliable, meticulous service has ended!
Description of Work: Cleaned 2 floors of a townhouse, approximately 800 square feet each, 2 full and one half bath.

+ -1 moreWe had an old irreparable slate roof removed and architectural shingle roof installed. I went up to the attic a month later to retrieve Christmas decorations and found the attic looked like a war zone. Just pulling down the stairs left my son and I covered with black soot and slate dust. The roofing company had not warned me about this!! Everything was covered with 1/4 inch of black slate dust and particles and wood dust and splinters and pieces of roofing materials. So...no decorations from the attic possible! My son and I both have had asthma, so I was reluctant to try the cleaning myself. I found Jenny's on Angie's List and called, and explained that I wanted a company that would be sensitive to the dust issue. Jenny's husband came a few days later - even though it was right around the holidays! He spent 3 hours in the attic with a huge shop-vac with a good filter on it. He did an excellent job, and had me come up occasionally just to make sure it was okay for him to move certain things around to clean all areas, and to make sure he was doing exactly what I wanted. Couldn't ask for better service than that! He was friendly, professional, accommodating. I would use them again in an instant.

+ -1 moreWe moved into our new house in July and as we unpacked, we realized that the previous owners had neglected housekeeping basics. I called Jenny's based on all the great reviews on Angie's List and we discussed the job. We agreed that she would have 2-3 people come to my house and do a deep clean. I know it's harder to clean with furniture in place than if it was empty. (I really wish I'd called her before we fully moved in!) I explained that the basement and 2 bedrooms were full of boxes, and I didn't need the kitchen floor or any of our furniture cleaned, and that helped keep the price low. Her crew came on time, was very cheerful and worked diligently. They wiped down all the surfaces: baseboards, walls, switchplates, mirrors, windows, blinds. It make such a difference. They cleaned all the bathrooms, the kitchen cabinets, shelving. It was all so beautiful! Jenny wasn't able to be on the site during the cleaning, but she stopped by at then end and went over everything very carefully. She also explained that it's their policy to use "pledge" (or similar product) initially and then every few visits after that. They don't use it every time because it causes wax build-up. I'm working on our budget to find a way to have Jenny and her team routinely clean our house.

They do a great job cleaning my townhome. Had to give a B in responsiveness, as Jenny sometimes has a full mailbox on her cell, and sometimes took a while to return calls when I needed to juggle the schedule. A minor thing, but could be better! Straight A's otherwise - a great experience overall.

+ -1 moreAlthough I had similar estimates from other cleaning services Jenny was so personable on the phone I immediately trusted her and felt comfortable having her and her crew in my home. She called to confirm the appointment the day before and we worked out a way for her to get my key. She also was kind enough to text me when she was on her way so I could turn off my burglar alarm remotely (and likewise re-texted me when they left so I could reset it). I have a four story house and the bottom floor is a completely finished basement - although Jenny's service accidentally missed the basement, the rest of the house was flawless. I am so much happier in my sparkling space and I was so happy how hassle-free the entire process was. Jenny was very apologetic about the basement and offered to be there herself for the next cleaning - which isn't necessary as I rarely spend time in the basement and all it really needed was a vacuuming and light dusting. Overall I am extremely happy with everything and am anxiously awaiting four weeks for them to come back!

+ -1 moreSince moving into a new home (3500sf not including basement) in August I've been trying to keep up with the cleaning. But with a toddler and a newborn I decided it was time for help. I called Jenny and she called me back immediately. We discussed my needs and being I called the week before Christmas, I was fine with not starting until after the holidays. I did have to call Jenny again when she didn't get back to me about scheduling. We set up the initial deep clean excluding basement and a few rooms not heavily used. I was given a window of time that the girls would be here. 3 girls showed up on time and started immediately. They cleaned for approximately 4 hrs and did a fantastic job. They cleaned all the baseboards, lighting fixtures, etc. Jenny showed up at the end to be sure everything was going well and to my satisfaction. Jenny was supposed to call me to follow up, and again I had to call her when I didn't hear from her. She quickly called me back and was very apologetic, but that is why I give a 'B' for responsiveness. I've decided to keep Jenny for biweekly cleaning at $115. I think once we get into a routine schedule, things will go much smoother. I am not having every room cleaned for that price. I excluded my husband's office and 4 bedrooms (2 guest and 2 kids' rooms). I feel I can keep up with the bedrooms because there is not much stuff in them. She told me if I need to add any rooms or extra cleaning at anytime, just let the girls know that week. Overall, I am happy with the quality and price and would definitely recommend Jenny to anyone.

+ -1 moreThe cleaning staff was absolutely wonderful. They did an amazing job and scrubbed the house removing dirt from places that we had found difficult to get too. We have a long haired dog that sheds constantly and have trouble keeping up with the hair. There was not a bit of it left in the house when the cleaning crew left. Everything was left immaculate and cleaner than when we moved in. Due to the condition of the home, the crew was there for an extremely long time and the cleaning was expensive, but worth it. The only minor negative is that it is sometimes difficult to get in touch, but that is because it is a sole proprietors business. When you recieve a call back, conversations are always polite and extremely professional. The staff is upfront, honest and very diligent.
