Hydro Clean

When first I firtst contacted Hydro Clean by phone, the representative was very professional, knew the business well and provided an estimate based on an average size house carpet (about 800 square feet). She answered all my questions satisfactroly. She also said they would honor the Angie's List coupon ($10 off) plus would give us the 10% magazine discount. As it turned out, the workers gave us a 15% discount. With the 800 square foot estimate from Hydro Clean, I then went to 4 other carpet cleaners and used the 800 square foot measurement and got apples-to-apples estimates. Some were similar, one was quite a bit lower but didn't sound professional; all contacted had an A on your list. Because of the professionalism over the phone, and the fact that Hydro Clean had received the greatest number of endorsements from Angie's list, I went with them. Hydro Clean arrived within the 2 hour window their office gave us. They wore uniforms and conducted themselves as real professionals who knew the business. They first measured the carpet area to be cleaned, gave us an estimate before starting the work. Additionally,we wanted a Teflon finish, and they then figured that into the estimate without a problem. They had us walk through the house and point out any areas that needed to be spot cleaned; the spot cleaning was free. They then proceeded to do the spot cleaning and carpet cleaning; they finished in about 3 hours. They advised that the carpet would be damp, and that it should dry in 6-8 hours. We had removed all small furniture, so the rooms were pretty accesible. But without being asked, they moved a heavy file cabinet to clean behind and under it; all furniture was put on protective "pegs" while the carpet dried. They then removed all their equipment. It was an excellent experience and we feel, it was very reasonably priced. Overall we were exceptionally pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Hydro Clean to anyone who wants their carpet cleaned.

The techs were extremely nice and personable, arrived on time and got to work. Were able to remove most stains and left a bottle of stain remover with me (to use with the scotch guard treatment) that has been fantastic! Had to wait a few weeks for a Saturday appointment but it was worth it. The price was very reasonable and I had a coupon which was happily received. THis was my second time using the company and they have a loyal customer in me!

The technicians took careful note of all the stans I pointed out. They worked for several hours. The carpet now looks like new!! When I complimented Dan and Fred on the work they did, they were happy because they said that they take pride in their jobs. How often do you see that anymore?Just having this one experience made signin up for Angie's List worthwhile!

Hydroclean did an excellent job. The estimate they gave me over the phone was more than the actual cost of the service. They estimated for an approximate 900 SF area and they actually measured and it came in around 800. They did not try to sell me extra prooducts although I did ask for an estimate and purchased extra protection for some specific high traffic areas since the actual cost was about $20 less than the estimate. The gentlemen who provided the cleaning were professional. They moved most furniture (some I didn't want moved) and put some furniture on styrofoam blocks to all for drying. Good work...I would hire them again.

Charles and Christian did an excellent job! They were supposed to arrive between 1-3pm and they arrived at 1:00 sharp. They were completely finished 45 minutes later. The carpet smells and looks good. All stains were removed and the carpet is soft and fluffy. Will definitely use again.

I can say with conviction that the office personnel and the cleaning crew were totally responsive to our needs. The carpet was considerably soiled in several areas (walk areas) and generally dirty throughout the house (2 stories). However, after waiting a little while, I peeked in to see how they were coming along. I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Charles, the leader of the 2 man crew, said 'see I told you it would come clean' and he was absolutely right. They were polite, quick, and completely efficient. It went very well. I was calling around trying to find a contractor to come out and do the deck this week. I had bids from other companies, but they were not available until June and I really wanted it cleaned before the holiday weekend. On 5/25 I called Hydro Clean and talked to Rhonda. She was very professional and kind on the phone. She stated that they would be available to come this week. She said that she could have Sean come to our home that same day to measure and look at the job to get an estimate of the cost. Sean called thirty minutes before he arrived. He was very pleasant and also professional. We took a look at all of the work that I wanted to have done. Sean went ahead and took measurements and then said he would be going back to the office and Rhonda would be calling me that afternoon with an estimate. Rhonda called that afternoon and we agreed on a cost to do the job. She informed me that they could come the next day, 5/26. I told her that would be great and she put us on the schedule and said the men would be here between 8:30 and 9:30 Am that day. Sure enough, around 9:00 AM my doorbell rand and Sean was at the door. He was going to be doing the job and he introduced me to Jeff, who would be helping him out. Sean pointed out some areas on the deck where some of the finish had come off the finials. I told him I was aware of that. The two men got right to work. They were efficient and professional. When they were done Sean and I walked around to view their completed work. There was a threshold that still needed to be cleaned and they were quick to take care of that for me. Overall, Hydro Power did a GREAT job! I am thrilled with how my deck and patio turned out. It looks beautiful and the best it has looked since it was built 7 years ago. I highly recommend this company. Both the employees and the service were wonderful. Sean mention that they specialize in carpet cleaning. I know that I will be calling them when that time comes.

was not pleased! 2 young guys showed up and one was a trainee. They did a "quick" job. We had some deep stains and they did not remove, but when I re-did with my steam cleaner they came out. Floors were not as clean as I thought they would be. After spending the amout of money we did, the company never contacted us to see how it went or if we were satisfied. Overall, Unhappy.

We have used them four or five times. We have also used them for upholstery cleaning. They are very good and professional. They are very thorough, but they are also very careful about what they move and what they put back. They have never damaged anything.

Dave and his assistant were on time, efficient and polite. They both in introduced themselves and shook my hand. They looked at the carpets, explained my problem spots, noted the price and immediately began to work. I have cream carpet in a basement that was used by my twin sons before they went off to college. Clearly a challenge . . . . Dave explained that he might not be able to remove all of the spots, but he managed to successfully remove the majority of the stains. In addition, the team moved some of the smaller furniture in the other rooms - two nightstands and a dresser drawers set and cleaned the carpet underneath them. Amazing service. I was most impressed with their diligence in placing blocks underneath my bedroom furniture. The blocks will ensure that the wood furniture won't sit on the carpets as they dry. A thoroughly professional job!

They are fantastic. They are punctual and very knowledgeable about the upholstery and carpet cleaning. They are very good.

The two Hydro Clean technicians showed up on time and were very happy to see that our house is still empty! They were very professional and courteous in explaining the process and costs involved prior to starting the cleaning. They finished in record time due to the lack of furniture and did a fantastic job. You could totally see a huge difference after completion. The grey Berber carpet became light grey! You don't realize how filthy your carpeting is until you have it professionally cleaned. It only took six hours or so for the carpet to completely dry indicating that the equipment used is of a high quality. I am utilizing Hydro Clean for duct and dryer vent cleaning on Monday and will report how that goes. As of now I highly recommend Hydro Clean.

Highly recommended. We had over a year of pet stains embedded in a 1 inch pile carpet that we thought would have to be replaced. Hydro clean was very professional, punctual, and did a more thorough job than I could have done if I rented equipment and had done it painstakingly myself. Prices were excellent, and very competitive.

The experience was very good. The technicians showed up and I wasn't ready. Because of the snow, the schedule for moving was moved to the same day the carpet was to be cleaned. The technicians were polite and waited until I got left over boxes, etc. out of the rooms and vacuumed up the large debris left from packing and moving. They were very patient and worked with me. Once things were settled, they cleaned the rugs thoroughly and did a great job.

We had an excellent experience. Rhonda was delightful on the phone when I called to arrange for service. We got a reminder phone call and e-mail before our service date and a 2-hour window for the service. The cleaning team called en route to let us know they were on the way. They were very professional and took great pride in their work. They did an amazing job cleaning our very dirty den carpeting and other high traffic areas. Our couch looks new again! Everything was soft and dry within about 8 hours of service as promised. The final price was just as estimated. We look forward to using them again!

I am very pleased with the work done by Hydro Clean. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. The job they did was excellent and I simply could not have asked for more.

AWFUL!! First, they were a no show for the initial appointment. They "forgot" to put it in their books. When they did show up a few days later, they stained my runner in the hallway with a leaking hose. I asked about the leak and they tied it off with rags, but the damage was done. Then, they dumped their dirty water onto my driveway, staining my driveway!! I called to inform them of the stains, they came back (in the rain) and couldn't see the stain on the driveway. The owner called and said someone would come out when he got back from vacation, I asked about the stain setting and making it more difficult to remove and the owner said he wasn't worried. The manager, Sean, came out 2 WEEKS later and tried to get the stain out of the driveway, but it had already set. He took my runner back to the office to try and get the stain out, then called and told me it was my fault the stain was there, it was pet urine. I reminded him that the stain was in the exact spot of the leaking hose, and was not present until the day of cleaning! He then said he would try more techniques to remove the stain. HE STILL HAS MY RUNNER, almost 3 months later!!! Will not return phone calls! Stay away!

The carpets look AMAZING!!! I have 2 big dogs and a 5 year old and my carpets look BRAND NEW!!! I will DEFINITELY use this company again!!! The gentlemen were SO nice and accommodating!

The carpet cleaning was fine it is what happened today that was the problem. Several months ago I used this company and was satisfied with their service. There were some spots that came back up but the carpet stains I believe are in the pad and that is not their fault. BUT today I received an email from the President of the company soliciting money for a political fundraising event. I would be unhappy no matter who the candidate was because he should not be using his client database for this type of activity. SO beware, give this company your personal information with care they don't respect it at all.

Charles and Joe arrived about 8:15 (scheduled time was 8:00). Both were very courteous. Charles made sure before starting that we were in agreement on the details of what was to be done and what I should expect. I did not feel rushed and my questions were satisfactorily answered. The cleaning took about an hour and a half and I was extremely happy with the attention to detail they gave. My carpets had lots of pet stains and now they look great. They also cleaned a chair. The house smells good again. I'd use this company again. We used The Big Deal and got a nice price for doing so.

This was best experience of carpet cleaning I have experienced. All contact with company was timely, notification of arrival was given, servicemen were polite and did have good knowledge of product and most importantly they respected my home and belongings. The last compnay I used, which I got from the Yellow Pages, took no care of my home and actually took paint off my bannisters with their misuse of equipment. It is difficult to talk about spots and such when carpet is still wet, when it dried their were a few small stains I can only assume cannot be removed. I will use this company again and do reccommend them.

I think my experience with this company was good from start to finish. I found it on Angie's List and noticed that it had received a Super Service award for carpet cleaning several years in row. Therefore, I decided to give it a try. Rhonda is the contact person I got when I called to schedule my appt. She was very helpful, personable and professional. She explained the pricing to me, what to expect, and how to prepare for my carpet-cleaning adventure. Once I mentioned that I had found the company through Angie's List, she noticed that the Angie's List special ($15 off) was not as good as the summer special her company was running at the time (15% off). She didn't have to tell me this, yet she did and automatically gave me the better price (yeah, Rhonda!). I got an appt. for when I wanted the following week, and I was even able to reschedule for a later day that same week without problems. The day of the appt, the team (Sean and John M) called ahead to let me know they were on their way and give me an estimated time of arrival. S & J came within the time frame previously scheduled, which was great, and steam cleaned my carpets. They also checked my upholstery to see if they should be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Sean (the team leader, if I recall correctly) gave me the pros and cons of each option plus his professional opinion that the steam cleaning would be fine. I ultimately went with the steam clean option for the loveseat and sofa as well. Sean and John M. worked well together, and Sean was very good at communicating what was going on and why, plus checking in with me to ensure I was satisfied with the way things were progressing. If furniture was not moved b/c of size or other concerns, the linear footage that it occupied was deducted from my bill, so I was charged only for areas that were actually cleaned in each room. Everything worked out well. It was interesting to see that the upholstery actually cost more to clean than the carpet! However, overall, I think both the service I got and the price I paid were great. Sean even gave me a free estimate for pressure washing the exterior of my home (assuming my condo association would approve it). The only disappointment was that the LR berber carpet took a LOT longer to dry than expected - about 24 hours even with a fan and dehumidifer going sometimes, not 6-8 hours as expected. This was counterbalanced by the fact that the team lay down paper runners for me, upon request, in each room so that I could move around my place without messing up the carpets before they dried. Sean also pointed out places where the berber had become snagged (not by them) and clipped the snags for me, plus gave me carpet care tips. Awesome! I would hire this company again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Service was excellent from start to finish, appointment process through cleaning a matter of hours later. Techs were prompt, courteous and pleasant and did a fantastic job! Have a dog with thick fur who loves to get wet so carpet was in need of good cleaning. Am very pleased and will definitely use Hydro Clean again!

The office is exceptionally professoional from the appointment process to the reminder calls to the follow up. The servicemen were professional, punctual, competent, knowlegable and thorough in cleaning up tough stains and making sure I was pleased with the work before leaving the job.
