Hydro Clean

I had used them before. It was favorable. They also did some minor repairs and everything went well. I didn't have any problems.

I wanted them to power wash the porch and strip the paint but they informed that they did not do that. I was disappointed that after they power washed the driveway they did not seal it like the Big Deal said they would. I would only use them in the furture if they were more clear about what they do before.

Gerald was great. Very professional, punctual, and did a great job. He even did a small part of the sidewalk surrounding my townhome because he said the driveway and front steps area was not that big.

Arrived punctually, got right to work. Loved the results. This is the second time we've had this company come in to clean our wall to wall carpeting.

This is a top shelf business. From booking to service, the experience was fantastic and I am beyond impressed. I am really impressed by most companies and rarely take the time to write a review. I scheduled duct cleaning crew to arrive first that day. Two nice gentleman showed up on time for the scheduled appointment. After doing the walk through and seeing my concerns they noted that my system was not very dirty. They offered to clean anyway but said that it was not entirely necessary. My big concern are the bathroom exhaust fans but as that was not part of the service they would only be cleaning the hvac ducts and dryer vent. They could have lied to me and told me that my vents were a mess and the service needed to be done... But they did not. It is rare these days to find a business that reputable. Combine quality and a good value- it's unheard of. HydroClean office person Sarah called to make sure I really wanted to skip the service. She was extremely nice and didn't try to push me into the cleaning. Great customer service. The two nice guys left without my husband and I spending a cent. No cancellation fees or hassles. I scheduled carpet cleaning for later that same day. When the carpet service guy called at 10:30 and said they had an opening to get my service done earlier - I was pleased. Christian and Andrew arrived as the duct cleaners were leaving. These two young men were extremely polite and professional. They got right to work and did an amazing job. They didn't cut corners or try to up-sell me. I've had other companies try to sell you additional services and clean around furniture; not these guys. Again- top notch staff. I'm summary I would recommend Hydro Clean. They have a customer for life in me.

They were able to come out shortly after I had purchased the big deal and they contacted me to schedule the appointment. We in fact spent more than I anticipated and I felt at that point I didn’t get a good deal. They did do a good job on the carpets.

Hydro Clean did an excellant job cleaning our carpets. We had no difficulty getting an appointment setup and they were on time despite snow fall the night prior and heavy traffic the day of the appointment. They took the time to explain the cost up front and were kind and curteous throughout the visit. The carpet looks great afterwards. I would highly recommend Hydro Clean and will be using them again.

This is the third time I have used Hydro-Clean, the first two times without incident. This time will be my last time. I responded to an offer of 15% off for work. They scheduled me for the day of Christmas eve. Because I was a previous customer, they already had my room measurements, no. of stairs, and type of carpeting. They did the math, applied the 15%, and quoted me $185.10. When the technicians did their work, they charged me $226.49. I called the office about the inflated price, which had closed for Christmas. A few days later, I contacted the office about the discrepancy. It turns out that the room measurements taken by these technicians were larger than what Hydro-Clean had on file. Eventually, I spoke with Stephan, who identified himself as a manager, and who insisted that measurements change. I made clear that my rooms had stayed the same size, and that it was Hydro-Clean's own measurements which were at odds with each other. His response: But we gave you 15% off. At that point, he transferred me to someone else who offered to send someone back to my home to re-measure. A few days later when that technician arrived, his measurements were close to what Hydro-Clean had on file, and even less square footage. A few days later, I contacted receptionist Sarah and asked about a refund based on their errors. She re-did the math, and the new price came to $196.67. I asked about the original quote given to me ($185.10), and she said she had made some errors in that quote. I made clear that I relied on her quote (not an estimate, as she had the exact data in formulating that quote), and that any error, and not even such a significant one, should be resolved in the customer's favor. Moreover, I explained that I wasn't even seeking an adjustment for the square footage that was re-measured in my favor. She then transferred me back to Stephan, who again suggested that measurements change, and that Hydro-Clean should be paid for the work it does. Tired of Stephan's inability or unwillingness to grasp the issues and his illogical arguments, I simply verified the correct spelling of his name so I could write this report. The measure of a company's worth is not just the quality of its work but how it addresses matters that go awry. Here, I was inconvenienced by having to have my home re-measured (rather than the company accepting its own, original data) and then was not given the benefit of the original quote. I was told that a refund check would be mailed to me. When it didn't arrive, I had to prompt Hydro-Clean for the check and threatened to dispute the credit card charge. Finally, they issued a credit but only for the smaller amount. I am confident that many area companies can clean carpet without the nonsense created by Hydro-Clean.

They did an OK job. They did what they were supposed to do, and the end result was OK. However, in comparison with a competitor, the end result was better with a competitor.

Mickey came promptly, thoroughly explained exactly what he was going to do, did a walk-through, checked with us about the estimate before starting. The cleaning itself was wonderful. After he was done, the carpet looked new.

The best carpet cleaning & price we've had by far! The team cleaning our carpets really took their time to ensure they thoroughly cleaned all the areas where traffic had been high. They even managed to get some adhesive from athletic tape off one portion of our carpet. They also cleaned an area rug at their facility that had been badly soiled by one of our dogs. When it was returned, it was spotless & fresh. Definitely worth the cost!

He explained the process of measurement to compute the cost and use of stain remover where required. He did a very thorough job, and was very professional in his interactions with me. He was punctual and completed in the time he estimated. I will use Hydro Clean in the future.

When we purchased our home a little over a year ago, we replaced all of the flooring except the living room carpet. The living room carpet was stained but seemed passable until we were ready to replace it with something higher end. We rented a Rug Doctor just before we moved in but were never really happy with the results. Fast forward a year, and our new master bedroom carpet had become rather matted down after a year of use, and we thought it would probably be worth having the living room carpet professionally cleaned too to make it more bearable while we save up to have it replaced with wood. I had heard Hydro Clean's advertisements on the radio, so I visited their website and submitted a quote request. Their office staff was very quick to respond even though it was the holiday season, and they continued to respond promptly to my questions. Although their price seemed high, we were impressed enough with their reviews that we decided to go for it. The technicians had a mixup with their truck on the morning they were scheduled to arrive [which, incidentally, was a 1-hour window, none of that "We'll be there sometime between 8 and 12" nonsense], but they called to let us know and showed up only 15 minutes later than the scheduled time. They measured the carpets when they arrived, and since they charge by square foot and we had estimated high on the square footage of the rooms to be cleaned, the total was actually lower than the original estimate. Even after adding on Teflon for the master bedroom the price was lower than we were quoted. They worked quickly and didn't charge any extra to remove some heavy stains from the living room carpet (including some black tar-based glue that had been tracked in when we renovated our kitchen). When they were done, the lead technician said he wasn't happy with how the living room had turned out and significantly reduced the price for the living room. We told him it wasn't his fault since the stains are who-knows-how-many-years old, but he insisted on a reduced price. No, the living room carpet doesn't look new, but it looks a whole lot better than it did, and any remaining spots are most definitely *not* the technician's fault. The master bedroom carpet appears to have regained its original luster, and we're impressed with their one-year Teflon guarantee (free stain removal if you can't get it out yourself). We'll definitely come back to them for future work.

They were outstanding. They were very accommodating with scheduling. They did an outstanding job and even offered to come back afterwards to remove the pieces they had placed under the feet of the furniture. I thought they provided a service above and beyond.

They did a fine job and were very efficient and friendly. The price was a little high, when all is said and done, but otherwise I was very pleased.

They were fabulous. The quality was excellent. The dining room and the living room are connected and they cleaned the dining room and I can't tell you how many shades lighter it is than the living room. They did a wonderful job. I was very impressed and I absolutely would use them again. In between then I had somebody else come and they did the dining room and it is still the same color! He kept saying that this must be different carpets, because the colors are so different, but it is the same carpet. It's just that the Hydro Clean guy got the living room so much cleaner. If anybody comes back, it will be Hydro Clean.

Beyond doing a good job, I'd like to say how nice it was to have two young men arrive who were both well-groomed, well-mannered, well-spoken, and just a pleasure to have in my home. They introduced themselves and shook my hand, they looked me in the eye when they spoke, and they treated my home and contents with care. They both carried themselves with humbleness - not cockiness - which is such a delight to witness from that age group. As pleased as I am by the service (and I was a first-time customer), I would highly recommend this company based on the awesome employees who performed it. :)
