Hydro Clean

While they were timely, it was not a pleasant experience. They needed to come back out because they didn’t clean thoroughly including not cleaning up to the edges of the rooms and not removing stains including a coffee stain in our master bedroom. We brought this to their attention prior to the cleaning and the cleaner let us know know it wouldn't be a problem to get up. This stain was still there when me moved out of the house a year and a half ago. We got up the next day and the carpets didn’t look they had been cleaned at all; it looked like nothing had been done. When they sent someone else out they indicated they couldn't do anything additionally due to the age of the carpet. They did do some additional spot treatments.

Everything turned out well for the most part. The scheduling was easy, they arrived on time, and they did a reasonably good job with the cleaning. Unfortunately, the grout is quite old, so they weren't able to get it as clean as I would have liked. They did send a supervisor over for a second attempt to get the grout a bit cleaner which I appreciated. Additionally, the final price worked out to be much higher since I had more tile and grout than was covered in the deal. Based on my calculations, the price in the deal was fifty cents per square foot, but the price for additional tile was approximately two dollars per square foot.

We had our vents cleaned by Hydro Clean and it was a great experience. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. We live in a small rowhome with very narrow staircases. Due to this issue they could not get their machine into our basement. At first the workers left and gave us a recommendation for other options. Not long after they left the manager called and said they were on their way back and there was something else they could do after all. He was very nice and so were the workers who had to come back. I really appreciated him going the extra mile instead of just letting it be someone else's problem.

We had a great experience with Hydro Clean when they cleaned our carpets. The workers were on time and friendly. They moved the furniture for the cleaning with no issues. With two pets and two kids they did a great job bringing the carpets back to life.

This experience was positive at first contact. Scheduling was immediate, the tech arrived promptly and did an excellent job. He was very friendly, knew his job well and was totally professional; he even explained how his equipment works. I feel I received just what was advertised at an excellent price. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Greatly exceeded expectations.

Tuesday, February 25 Angelo of Hydro Clean arrived at our home on time to clean our loveseat, sofa and king size pillow top mattress. He finished the loveseat and sofa and we were satisfied with the work. The problem arises when he starts to clean the mattress. He cleans about half of the mattress before he stops to notify my spouse that he tore the fabric. He was apologetic and informed my spouse that someone would be in touch to examine it and to determine whether it would be repaired or replaced. Wednesday, February 26 Stephen of Hydro Clean arrives at our home, takes pictures of the damage, and then informs my spouse that he would have to run this by "Chuck" (the owner) to determine whether the mattress would be repaired or replaced. This is where Hydro Clean's customer service spirals down hill. Thursday, February 27 No call or email from anyone from Hydro Clean Friday, February 28 My spouse called Hydro Clean and spoke to Sarah to inform her that Stephen had not been in touch with him. My spouse also called later the same day and left a voicemail to reiterate this. Saturday, March 1 I emailed Sarah at Hydro Clean to inform her that we were anxious to get our king size pillow top mattress -- Hydro Clean damaged -- repaired or replaced with no call or email back from Hydro Clean. Sunday, March 2 We didn't hear from Hydro Clean by phone or email. Monday March 3 We didn't hear from Hydro Clean by phone or email. Tuesday, March 4 My spouse called Hydro Clean and spoke with Christina who informed him that we would receive a check to replace our mattress with no additional details. Sarah finally wrote back via email on Tuesday. She stated she would let Stephen know that Chuck (the owner) had NOT gotten in touch with us and as soon as she heard from him she would either let me know or have him give me a call. She also mentioned to let her know if I had any questions. Sounds like the "run around" doesn't it? I wrote back and asked if she had any idea when our issue would be resolved. Sarah wrote that she had let Stephen know but that he was in "the field." That they were doing "everything they could" to resolve it. Wednesday, March 5 I emailed Sarah twice on 3/5 to first ask her if she had an update for me. I then let her know what type of mattress we had so that we could receive the check from Hydro Clean to replace it like Christina stated on 3/4. I didn't get a response from Hydro Clean. Thursday, March 6 Stephen of Hydro Clean called my spouse to ask for the cost to replace our king size pillow top mattress. We had already provided the mattress type via email and he came to our home to take pictures of the damage that Hydro Clean caused (but that's an aside). My spouse did the research and called Hydro Clean back the same day. He told Sarah what the range of prices were to replace the mattress. Stephen from Hydro Clean never called back. I emailed Sarah to inform her of this. She had not responded to an email from me since 3/4. She finally responded back that Stephen was "in the field." Friday, March 7 Stephen called my husband offering that Hydro Clean repair the mattress after initially asking for the cost to replace the mattress. He offered between $150-$200 over the phone with repair of the mattress. Stephen then recapped the conversation over email to offer $150. Our mattress hadn't been completely cleaned and damaged since 2/25. We were nearly two weeks past the time they should have replaced or repaired and cleaned the mattress. I emailed and expressed my displeasure with the offer. He emailed a better offer (not a great one) with a "Damages Release" form attached that would prohibit us from taking them to court to recoup additional damages. I asked if he would send someone out on Saturday before 11am. Stephen said his "upholstery guy" would be in touch later that same evening. We never heard from Hydro Clean's "upholstery guy" or Hydro Clean. Saturday, March 8 I emailed Stephen again to ask if the "upholstery guy" was coming to fix the mattress. Stephen told us that the "upholstery guy" was unavailable for a Saturday repair but that he (Stephen of Hydro Clean) would contact us on Monday Sunday March 9 No correspondence with Hydro Clean via email or phone. Monday, March 10 I emailed Stephen and Chuck and received no response from Hydro Clean via email or phone. Tuesday March 11 I emailed Stephen and Chuck and received no response via email or phone. The "upholstery guy" Tony finally called my spouse and scheduled to repair our mattress on Thursday, March 13th Thursday, March 13 The upholstery guy, Tony arrived on time to repair our mattress. I'm still wondering why Hydro Clean couldn't have resolved this a week and a half ago. It total it took 2 weeks and 2 days for them to resolve a problem that they caused and they still didn't finish the work they were originally contracted for which was to clean the mattress. Chuck (the owner) NEVER called or emailed to apologize either. Some time later Hydro Clean offered a settlement amount only if a damages waiver was signed. Please see March 7....

When I first contacted them through Angie's List they asked for pictures and dimensions of the house so they could provide an estimate which I did. We have a two story colonial with a 12/12 pitch so it is a very high peak. They showed up the first time with a short ladder and said they needed to reschedule. They came back a week later with a longer ladder and I guess they completed the job. They told me that they could not get the all stains from the siding in the high areas but they only used plain water so I am still not completely happy. They had to move some wicker furniture so they could do the siding on the porch but I guess they are not like the carpet installers who put things in place and cleaned up after themselves as the furniture is still up against the railings and all the leaves and stuff they kicked up are still there. While they had a hose out it would have taken less then 10 minutes to wash the stuff off the porch.

Hydro Clean did a good job. They were fast and efficient.

Outstanding.....scheduling was a breeze. So prompt in calling to schedule and easy to communicate with via email and text.

All communication were very good on the phone and in email pre-visit. Robert arrived right on time, was very polite and professional. He walked through each room with me, took laser measurements then provided an exact quote before starting the job. He spent several hours cleaning all the carpets and did a great job. There were several stains on the carpets in each kids room along with several pet stains in the hallway and steps. Robert successfully removed all stains completely. The carpets look great and I can confidently recommend this provider for carpet cleaning.

HydroClean was very helpful and flexible with the appointment date. My carpets are old and had taken a lot of abuse - I was afraid I'd have to replace them to prepare my house for sale. HydroClean exceeded my expectation in cleaning the carpets. They also took care in moving my furniture. I arrived at home before the technician left for the day, and he checked with me right away to make sure there wasn't anything I wanted that he'd missed. I'll definitely do business with them again!

Two employees arrived promptly, set up equipment & finished the job in about 2 hours.Cleanup was good & as far as I can tell, vents & ducts were thoroughly cleaned. I will use again in a few years.

I had used Stanley Steemers for years but HydroClean did an unbelievable job! They removed stains that other carpet cleaning companies could not. I have recommended them to many friends. They aren't the cheapest out there but they are the best.

They didn't stick to the "Big Deal" price because that was for the exterior of the house and I want them to do the deck as well. So, there was an additional charge. But, as for the house they stuck with the "Big Deal".

Our experience was not great. I do not feel they were careful with the hose they were using and it may have scratched the walls. Scheduling was fine and there were two people here doing the work.

I guess I was expecting to be wowed, but it looked as though my floor had simply been mopped. Perhaps my expectations were unreasonable, but I was really disappointed. The team was great and I'm sure they do great work, but I was hoping for a bit more given I paid over $200 dollars to have the floor cleaned.

They did a very good job cleaning the carpets and were able to get many stains out. However a month later some of the stains reappeared, which I had heard will sometimes happen with some stains.

They are splendid. They showed up the same day I called them and immediately removed the affected drywall. They left the appropriate air movers and dehumidifier devices in place overnight to ensure that the area was completely dried out, and applied the appropriate anti-mold agents to ensure we didn't develop a mold problem. The supervisor came over the next day and personally inspected the work. Very impressed with this company. I wish I had found them under more favorable circumstances, but am VERY glad that I've found them!

I originally reported a small wet area in the basement, so they sent out one technician. He used a special piece of equipment to check for moisture under the carpet and found a much larger wet area. When he lifted the carpet we could see the damage was far more extensive than what we thought. Instead of coming back the next day, this awesome technician removed half the wet carpet in this very large basement BY HIMSELF, applied anti-mold solution, and bagged and removed wet, ruined items. I don't know how he was able to carry all that wet heavy carpet alone, but he did it cheerfully. He cut into wet drywall and set up driers to dry out the area. Every day for three days someone from the company came by to check on progress and reposition the driers until the area was completely dry. They also took photos and communicated with out insurance company, which made it much easier for us to get the claim paid. We were so impressed that we had to write this review so other Angie's List members know about this great company. They also do carpet cleaning, and we will definitely use them again. Service like this is rare these days. Kudos to Hydro-Clean for an amazing job.

I initially messaged the top listed provider, but was messaged back to call them for more details. When I messaged Hydro Clean, they called me back to get more information. I was happy with this extra effort on their part. I had initially thought a "big deal" was the way to go, but the provider suggested we simply pay for the square footage cleaned. I didn't know that was possible. I made an appointment. They arrived a few minutes outside the service window, but the driver called and let us know of the delay. Our stairway has been neglected to say the least, and it looks nearly new! Though it took two passes with the cleaning machine. The two gentlemen were friendly and got the job done quickly. I will recommend Hydro Clean to others.

The two men arrived on time, were efficient and did a great job of cleaning the siding. I was very much satisfied but only wish the cost of doing the entire house was more reasonable.

They did a great job. They came when they weer supposed to and did exactly what I expected them to do.

I like Hydro Clean. They have cleaned my carpets several times and they do a good job and their employees are helpful and professional. So I didn't hesitate when I saw a Big Deal for their company for bathroom grout cleaning. It included up to 300 sq feet for $199. The grout in all 3 of my bathrooms was in need of some brightening so I bought the deal. When I called up to make my appointment I realized that even though the total footage of all 3 of my bathrooms didn't come close to their limit for the deal that they would not do all 3 bathroom floors because it was only for 2 rooms. Partly my mistake but as a customer of many years I'd hoped they would be a little more willing to work with me; I didn't even have 200 square feet of work and my tub tile had been replaced recently so the floor grout was all the work I had. That turned out to be very unfortunate because I probably would have been better off without the deal just paying for both rooms. What made it even worse was that nothing looked different when all was said and done except that the grout around some of the edges was lightened up. The rest was still as dark as ever. They came and tried again with the same results. What puzzled me was how the edges could have cleaned up so well but nothing else. I'll continue to use Hydro Clean for carpet cleaning but not for grout cleaning.
