They are incredible. I had a faucet that sprung a leak and I had company, it was a Friday night and at nine o'clock at night the son was at a gathering but he said as soon as he finished up there he would come over. My brother in law from Texas took the phone and he walked him through fixing it. There was no charge, nothing. They were incredible.

Mr. Thurber is always there when you need him. Excellent work.

These fellows were prompt, honest, and down-to-earth. They got right to the job, did a very NEAT job on the plumbing, and were very knowledgeable about the job at hand. We have future work to be done, and we will be calling them back. Wish they made more people like this.

We had visited a name brand home improvement store which offered installation, but the employees were not certain about prices, etc, and added extra costs to figure up the total price estimate for the installation, well over $200 and more than $50 over the advertised price. So we looked in Angie's list and got an over the phone estimate from RT Plumbing. They arrived when they said they would, were quick and efficient, did a great job, and for less than half of the home improvement store quote. We will be using these plumbers again in the future.

These guys (father and son team) were always on time, ready to work and were very efficient. We had problems with our dishwasher drain and they stopped by within hours of my call and fixed the problem. They will be doing some other work for us in the near future.

Mr. Thurber could have said that we needed a new tank, which would have cost us much more, but he didn't, and that saved us a lot of money. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional.

Bobby and Phil (Bobby's son) called to let us know they would be at our house just as soon as they were finished another job near Smithsburg which is about 10 mins from our house. They arrived about an hour after the phone call as the other job was a quick fix (as they stated on their call). Phil came in and quickly unhooked the toilet while Bobby sucked all the water out with his vac. Once the toilet was removed Bobby quickly assessed the job and found the cast iron flange he brought would not work as the collar was not long enough to fit on the jagged old sewer piping. So Phil stayed behind diligently working on removing the flange and listening to me talk his ear off for about 15 mins while Bobby slipped to the supply store and pick up and another flange with a longer collar. Bobby came back delivered the flange and Phil started installing. While cleaning the pipe and installing the new oakum Bobby went to look for his ladle to heat the lead to seal the flange back to the pipe. Unfortunately the ladle was not put back in the van so Bobby quickly went and picked one up from a friend near by. While picking up the ladle the new flange cracked while Phil was putting the last of the oakum in place. Fortunately Bobby had bought two flanges while he was out purchasing the first one. The job took about two hours even though they ran into 2 hiccups (to be expected with any job), the toilet was put back into place, and water turned back on and tested for leaks. Even with the purchase of the new flange, running over to pick up another ladle and removal and reinstallation of the broken/new flange, the job cost exactly as quoted and expected. I would recommend RT to anyone with a plumbing job and will surely use them again.

The work was done very promptly and professionally. The only hiccup was that he forgot to bring two replacement valves with him, so I went out and purchased them at Lowe's while he did the other work. Despite that, I was very satisfied with the work. I thought the price was a bit high, but I am not in tune with plumbers' rates.

RT plumbing replaced our bath tub hardware and they fixed the drain under the tub . they also were out earlier in the month to unclog a bathroom drain. They did an AWESOME job!! They answered the phone when I called and called me back promptly. They came right out did a great job at a fair price. ( one of the local competitors told us we would have to replace the whole tub for 4000.00 if you live in Hagerstown you can guess who that plumber was. ) RT fixed the existing tub for 800.00 We will Always call RT for our pluming issues!!! great customer service, fair prices, skilled plumbers!!

The provider responded promptly to the message I left at their number. After discussing the problem, the provider provided an estimate over the phone. The provider was able to provide same-day service and arrived within an hour following our conversation. The technician was prompt, courteous, efficient, and pleasant. Consideration was shown through removal of shoes when entering the house and clean-up when the work was completed. I considered the charge very reasonable, especially since some providers charged dispatch fees just to come to assess the problem and provide an estimate. I would not hesitate to use this provider's services again.

He showed up and fixed the flange. He then reseated the toilet- but noticed it was not flushing well. He snaked the drain and found a large clog. During this time- he was very professional. His son was with him most of the time(He is also a plumber) and he was just as good and professional as his father. When it came time for the bill- he was extremely reasonable- especially considering the amount of time he and his son spent at my house. Since then- I had a plumbing question that was entirely unrelated- and he spend 10-15 minutes with me on the phone- knowing it was something I would do myself- but call him if it went bad. These guys are awesome. I will continue to go with theseguys.

I was renting my condo out and the renter had an issue with some wetness from the floor. They worked with my renter to schedule appointments and after coming out a few times and isolating the problem they thought that it was a main line backing up into my condo unit and said it would be best to contact my association as it didn't look like my plumbing. The HOA association had their plumber come out and had to tear out drywall and it was determined that it was from a problem in the main line so my HOA was responsible. They did a good job of diagnosing and not tearing up my place and doing a job that was not actually part of my unit. It took him 3 times to come out and isolate the problem, but only charged my $60 for one visit.

They did a great job and were fast and efficient. I will be using them everytime I need a plumber and will never call the large plumbing company again that charges a lot for every little call they do.

This is the second time I used this plumber. First time was also faulty toilet, and needed to replace leaking supply line valve. This time it turned out to be simply replace the worn out innards. I called this plumber because of my first experience. First they answer the phone right away. Second, He came same day. Third, He was polite, professional and neat. Fourth, I felt the price was fair. I asked his opinion on some remodel ideas for both bathrooms and I felt he gave me good advice. My second experience confirmed my first time experience. I plan to call them next time i need a plumber.

Very reliable. I called on Bobby to help when another plumbing company "no showed" on me. RT Plumbing came and helped us out right away. They were on time. Takes their shoes off when they enter the house. Respectable. Courteous, professional, honest and fair. They had to come back and reconnect after our countertops got put in and did a great job! The person that answers their phones are thorough and professional. They are now our new Plumber for as long as we live here!

I called in the morning requesting repairs and RT dispatched a plumber by early afternoon. He had to deal with limited access and some odd fittings, but accomplished the task satisfactorily.

It was a difficult job and it went fine.

He's very reliable, and very trustworthy. He undersells instead of oversells. He showed up on New Year's Day, and he charged $70.

I purchased an older home and the toilet did not flush properly and had a small leak from the water supply line. It was not an emergency and they still responded in a prompt manner. After making adjustments, Phillip was able to get the toilet to work consistently. When he went to replace the supply line, he discovered the leak was being caused by a manufacturing defect in the toilet. There was no way to fix the problem except replace the toilet. He took the time to show me the defect so I understood he was not just trying to sell me something I did not really need. I went and picked out a toilet and he replaced it. Phillip was on time, efficient and left the bathroom as clean as they found it. I am going to have a sink and faucet replaced in the near future and I will definitely use RT Plumbing for the job.
