Description of Work: Owner Bobby Thurber returned my call within 1-day of original inquiry and then called me a couple days later to schedule service call two (2) days later. Mr. Thurber's son and another employee fixed leaking 3-inch x 30-inch copper commode drain. RT Plumbing's communication, response time and repair work was excellent. The original repair estimate was between $150.00 and the actual bill was $185.00. While on the job, they also opened up the flush jet hole of the American Standard Citation toilet that greatly improved the slow flush. Instead of a check, I offered and paid cash to establish trust and they e-mailed me the bill. I intend to keep RT Plumbing on my call list for future plumbing work!

Description of Work: RT Plumbing installed a custom built water filter system for my home. They arrived on time and got right to work mounting it and running new water lines. All told the installation only took about 2 hours. After installation they thoroughly checked the system for leaks. Excellent work by this company and a fair price to boot. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services!

Description of Work: Had a leak in downstairs apt didn't know were it was coming from or how long it was leaking call RTcame on time with his son. explained the problem they check it out from the basement to the second floorfount the problem within an hour and fixed it . It took them under 2 hours they were in and out. Would highly recommend them. Will use them again.

In a phone call in the afternoon, they instructed me how to turn off the water until they could come the next morning. They arrived the enxt morning at the appointed time and quickly fixed the problem. They were courteous and professional.

Their price is C because it was a FAIR price... not a bargain but an excellent job for a fair price. I would have liked an itemized invoice but they emailed me one with only the total with no breakdown of costs.
Description of Work: Removal and replacement of; kitchen sink and faucet with Reverse Osmosis System reattachment. Also turned up heat on my hot water heater and put a flapper in a toilet. I provided sink faucet and the tool to cut the hole in the sink for the RO system.

+ -1 moreLeft to visit mother in another state upon return found living room carpet soaked. Found that the pipe in water heater closet had been leaking apparently for some time. Contacted Angie's List for local plumber, found a top rated plumber though I was not convinced. Contacted R T Plumbing & Heating on Saturday afternoon. They were working on an emergency job and stated they could be there Monday as we kept the water turned off when not using. Showed up on Monday morning at 8:00 am. Since we were working on a very tight budget it was decided that we would take out the moldy dry wall for the repair. They responded on their very next open day. They were very efficient, thorough and pricing for the job was very reasonable. Plan on hiring the first of the year to replace toilet as I was very well pleased with their work and pricing. I expected pricing to be double the actual charge.
Description of Work: Had to replace inferior piping from house construction 15 years ago with new piping. This had to be done is tight space almost in corner of water heater closet. Plumber had to almost work around the water heater. My opinion they did a great job.

Description of Work: Problem with Hot Water Heater. He came within 30 minutes of being called and fixed the problem quickly. Could have told me I needed a new hot water heater. I did not. He replaced the part and even told me how to know if it was this part again in the future. High moral standard. Very appreciated. I have recommended him to many of my clients for years. I don't recommend ANYONE I don't completely trust.

+ -1 moreAfter doing my own personal demolition in my master bath show, I had a cracked shower drain pipe. In preparation for a re-tiling project in our shower, I called RT Plumbing to fix the shower drain and get it ready for tiling. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was very professional. He fixed the shower drain and provided additionally stability to the drain that was missing previously. He also made sure that I knew what was needed to accommodate the tile. I then had to urgently schedule a follow-up appointment to take care of an item that the tiler couldn't handle. They were able to fit me in and take care of the issue (not caused by RT Plumbing) quickly. I am very pleased with the quality and value that I received from their services.
