I bought this cleaning service through a BIG DEAL through Angie's List. I arranged for the cleaning to happen for a family friend who was in much need of cleaning services, as he is elderly. He reported that the cleaning was beyond what he expected. Every room that ROYAL FLUSH cleaning service staff touched sparkled after they left it, as was told to me by him. I was so happy to know this that I think I'll have them clean my house!!! Thank you Royal Flush and thank you Angie's List!

They came once and did a decent job. They were scheduled to come two weeks later and never showed up, even though I'd confirmed a few days before. When I called them, they said they would come the next Monday. Again, they never showed up.

I purchased a special deal through Angie's List to get 4 hours of house cleaning for the price of 2 hours. Royal Flush contacted me to schedule a date and time. On the expected date, 2 very polite cleaning personnel showed up at my house. They listened very carefully and execute my cleaning list down to the detail. I feel they did an excellent job and the house felt clean when they departed. In fact, they actually did a spot clean on one of the dirtiest carpet areas in my bedroom. I didn't ask for that, so it was a treat for me to see that they exceeded my expectations.

I chose to use this company due to an ad from Angie's List for "The Big Deal." They did a fair amount of work as my place was pretty dirty in anticipation of their visit. The cleaners were nice and punctual and worked well as a team. However, I was disappointed in the quality of their work. They worked fast, but did not clean as well as I would have liked. They mopped the floors per my request, but I felt like it was barely done - or just a "surface" attempt. They were sloppy in cleaning the bathroom mirrors. They left smudges or wipe marks on them, which I believe any maid service would be sure to leave clean since it's so visible. They just cleaned up the visible dust bunnies, not the hard to reach ones, like those under the bathroom sinks. I did check some things before they left, but didn't push the issues since I knew it was only a one time visit. I am looking into hiring a maid service and would have considered them if their work had been a bit better. I felt this would have been a good opportunity for them to sell their services to me as a potential new customer, but they didn't meet my standards. I have had a maid service before and know that I can't expect perfection. But this still didn't meet my standards.

The intial cleaning was scheduled for 07/06/11 at 1:30 p.m.; however, the cleaning crew did not ring the doorbell and apparently determined that I was not home (though I was home the entire time). I called the owner to find out what happened, and we decided to reschedule for the next day between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Not a big deal as I work from home and was willing to accomodate their scheduling. With regard to the cleaning, I would have to say that I was not altogether impressed with the job done. In this regard, it seemed to be a very high-level sort of cleaning, and not as thorough a scrub as I was hoping for. I'm also not convinced they wiped my baseboards, but I cannot say for sure because I had cleaned them all myself about a month and a half ago before moving into my house. There was some mis-understanding of my instructions when they arrived. I told them to focus on the main and upper levels, and as time permitted, to focus on the bathroom in the basement and whatever else they could work into the 2 hours I had paid for. I realized after they left that they took that to mean just clean the bathroom in the basement. They left 1/2 an hour early (and had arrived 1/2 hour later than scheduled). The arriving later was not a big deal, but leaving 1/2 hour early was definitely not what I expected. I was left to vacuum and clean the floor in the basement after they left. They left a small bottle of cleaning solution in the basement bathrom. I also asked via email on two occassions for an estimate for monthly cleaning services from the company and asked the ladies that arrived for the cleaning for one, but one was never provided. The owner did email and offer to discount the next cleaning bill by half, but since I was never given an estimate for work going forward, I was inclined to continue my search for a monthly housecleaning service elsewhere. On a positive note, I did think the cleaning solution they used was just right. I've used a company in the past that used industrial strength cleaning products, and it was just too strong for my household.

Sandy followed up with scheduling an appointment right away. The cleaners did a great job - they cleaned the whole house - dusting, wiping, vacuuming etc. It was such a pleasure to come home to a clean house. They even cleaned up some clutter in areas that I was expecting them to clean!

When I first scheduled a clean for our 3 bedroom/3 bath apartment, Sandy sent out a team within 48 hours with a handwritten note of the special requests I had. Mainly, I wanted my two daughters' clothes folded and put away in two chests of drawers. Sandy gave me a great price for the extra service - $20 for a load of clean laundry to be sorted and put away. The 2 person team arrived on time. I repeated what Sandy has already told them and left them to do the work. Hours later I came home to a somewhat cleaned apartment and none of my kids' clothes put away. Long story short, I was not happy. I thought of just never using them again but couldn't really understand how the company got great reviews here with that first team. I decided that the team was to blame, not the company. So when Sandy called for a follow up I was honest. Within 24 hours she sent out another team headed by Claudia. Claudia's team was FANTASTIC. They cleaned our place, tidied up, scrubbed our stove top, and put my kids' clothes away neatly! I'm so happy! Yay! Now I have Claudia coming in every 2 weeks to do her magic. I don't need to even tell her what to do. I'm even thinking of including my own laundry being sorted and put away in the cleaning for an extra fee. I'm very happy. The first team is now a bad memory and I'm glad I gave this company a chance to fix this. And fix this they did. Kudos to Sandy, Patricia, and of course Claudia for fantastic customer service. I recommend this company because they seem to be grounded and not all haughty-taughty like bigger snobbish companies who make it seem like they are doing you a favor! Royal Flush understand that working moms need help and they don't make things difficult for you. They won't instruct you to tidy up before they come, which is such a ridiculous request from other cleaning companies (what's the point of hiring them then?). A+++++++ for being on my side! The two ladies arrived promptly as promised at 8am. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished the cleaning in about 3 hours. The house looks and smells great! They brought all their own cleaning supplies, including vacuum. Thank you!

I will continue to use them as along as they keep up with the quality of service I have had over the past two years.

I was very happy with Royal Flush. Maria was the lead, and she spoke English, and was wonderful. The woman working with her was friendly, and both of them were professional and careful.

It went great, and I would consider using them again.

I?m getting frustrated with them because I?m finding dust and stuffs, not cleaning under the bed. That?s irritating me. It?s not been done until I say something and it?s done for a while and stops. Two people come to do the work for an hour. I have a two story house. They used to do good work. It's not a burning thing. When I tell them something, they problem gets resolved. Their price is nice. They come on a particular day and don't have a set time. I would use them in the future. I may end up using someone else.

I am very unhappy with them and they are not cleaning my house any more. I didn't like them at all. Somebody different came every week. I told them I could dust and my husband could vacuum but things where I have to get on my knees are hard because I can't get back up again. I wanted them to wash the floors on their hands and knees like I do it to get the floors clean. They never once did that. They kept telling me that it was good and they kept getting dirtier and dirtier. I wanted them scrubbed. They didn't clean the floors; they just wiped them. I finally told them that I wanted something better. They started the end of last year and worked until about two weeks ago. Maria normally came but she will bring other people. She always brought comet and I didn't want them to use comet on my sinks. It was aggravating. If they would have done the floors I think the price would have been fair but I felt I was throwing that money away because they didn't do what I wanted them to do. They were not punctual. They were supposed to come at 8 am and many times they didn't come until 8:45 am. Maria did everything from the standing position which I could have done that.

They clean my house. They show up and do a very good job. They'll put their hand in just about anything. They're cheerful, focused, like tornados coming through the house. They even helped my sister in an emergency. I am out of their area and was charged $80 for three or four hours of cleaning which was great.

I liked the ability to communicate with Sandy Stillman by email, and the whole visit was arranged that way. In addition, she was flexible when our moving dates changed. The price was incredibly reasonable, but I would actually rather pay a bit more and have the job done right the first time. In fact, we were "auditioning" this company to some degree, because if they had done a great job, I would have started on a regular cleaning program with them. The cleaners showed up on time and were personable. However, they were somewhat worn out, having already cleaned 4 houses before ours, and it showed in the job they did. It was passable, but once I started looking around, I found a number of surfaces that were still dusty. This was disappointing; the whole reason we hired cleaners was to be able to unpack and put things away, not clean first. Despite my answer above, I won't rule out using this company again, based upon their prices, the good attitude of their cleaners, and the ease of dealing with them (wish Angie's List would include a "maybe" answer to the question of whether a particular service professional would be contacted again), but I would want an understanding that we would be the first or second house on their list for the day.

The crew arrived just a little past the time scheduled. They thoroughly washed the inside and outside of our windows, including the tracks, as we have sliders. They also washed the screens. The crew took their shoes off while in the house. They were pleasant and spent nearly four hours cleaning. We were very pleased with the results. The price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely use them again!

I have only good things to say about the quality of the work. I have used them for the last 6 months and the house has been wonderfully clean every time when they leave. I also appreciate their flexability in scheduling. If I need to change the cleaning day or add a cleaning day to the schedule, they have always been very accommodating and fit my needs into their work schedule. I highly recommend them.

It works well with my busy schedule; they're flexible and the cleaning is okay. Overall, I'm satisfied with this service.

Overall I was happy with the services rendered by this company. I was given the estimate by Sandy and scheduled the appointments with her through email. She was very responsive with any inquiries I had whether it's via email or phone. The crew was punctual and after describing the areas I wanted them to pay more attention to (kitchen and bathrooms), they went off to work. One unexpected incident happened during the first visit. I had to step out while the crew was cleaning the house and asked them the approximate time they would complete the work. I wanted to be there to make sure everything discussed was covered and to make my payment to them. But, when I returned at the suggested time, they had left. A bit confused, I had hoped they'd waited or contacted me (Sandy had my number) when they finished. I did notice a few areas were missed by them (baseboard, light fixtures, ceiling fan) and voiced my observations to Sandy. She was kind and offered to have the crew return, but at the time I didn't feel these were major enough to have them come back. The same crew did return to clean the condo I moved out of, and did a much better job. They were more thorough in their work and communicated better.

We are delighted with Royal Flush Cleaning services. While there is some uncertainty regarding the exact time they arrive, they never miss an appointment. The individual who performs the work, Maria, is a extremely good at her work, she is very pleasant to have around, and she communicates well in English.

I have to remind them to do some of the jobs, (baseboards, windows, cabinets) at different times, but this has been the same with every service I have used.

They were okay. They had very good value, but their work did not always knock my socks off. I would consider using them again.

I have been very happy with Royal Flush Cleaning. They are always willing to work with my needs and any changes in scheduling. They are punctual and leave the house looking professionally cleaned.

The same team comes every time and they consistently do a super job. Totally dependable, nice people, never a problem. They bring all their own supplies. Sandy was always available to address special requests. Always had one English-speaker on the team. I give them my highest recommendation; price very reasonable for the job they did.

They were fine. I felt like they did an okay job, but they didn't do a great job. Surfaces looked clean but got dirty quickly, and I noticed that they missed some spots. Overall, they were satisfactory, but I left them and went with someone else because I didn't feel they were doing a good enough job.
