DAPHNE'S CLEANING SERVICE LLC

Everything was great except they left the shower facing outward. We normally leave our shower running for a while to get the water hot and when I came to the bathroom, the floor was pretty much flooded.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were okay. I had a little bit of trouble getting it scheduled. It was nothing major, just kept missing emails and phone calls. We did get it scheduled and the folks that showed up were prompt and very polite. The cleaning service was okay, probably not as thorough as I would have liked. I didn't notice things until after they had left. There were some areas that I thought should have been taken care of. I wasn't exactly disappointed. The cleaning wasn't terrible. They were very quick, which isn't a bad thing but they were so quick. The deal was up to 6 man hours but it had to be used in one visit and I don't have a big house. Two people were here for 90 minutes. I couldn't avail myself to the other 3 hours because it had to be used in one visit. I might use them again, I don't know. I have been trying out different cleaning services.

This was a tough one to schedule. They were very busy, so I booked an appointment a few months out. It wasn't ideal, but it was over the holidays so I can only imagine how swamped they were. My experience with Lenin was quite good, I found him extremely responsive. If I left him a message he would get back to me within a few hours, and sometimes sooner. The night before, Lenin called to confirm my appointment. We ended up pushing the time back by one hour, which worked fine for me. The ladies arrived right on time, and worked quickly and thoroughly. They left after two hours. On one hand, I feel like I paid for 6 man hours and got only 4. But on the other hand, by the time they left, my house was spotless, and I think $99 is a very reasonable price. I am very happy with the quality of service and will very likely use this service again. I am especially glad to see in reading the comments that they will use green products if I request it.

The quality of work was outstanding. The deal was for six hours of cleaning. After 2.5 hours the cleaners announced they were leaving. When I told them it was for six hours they said no, it was for five. I don't think I missed anything in the fine print - maybe travel time? Anyway, unfulfilled expectations.

The 2 ladies who came to clean our house were very nice. However, they were a little late. I have a new born and wanted to make sure they got there and finshed before his bedtime routine started. When I walked into the house, the chemical smell was overwhelming. I had to take my son outside because of the fumes. The cleaners also didn't do a great job in the bathrooms. It actually looked like they didn't even clean the shower stall in the MBR. I didn't bother to call them back because I didn't want my house to smell like a chemical factory again since my son stays at home all day.

Two women arrived right on time (estimate was between 8-9 am, they arrived at 8:15), and cleaned my entire house. They did a wonderful job!

The cleaning was okay. They were average. It was not the greatest I have ever had. I would rather spend a little more money to get a better cleaning. The deal was advertised as a deep cleaning and I got a surface cleaning. They were supposed to be here for six hours. The two people were here about two hours. The two people who came were very nice. They were very honest. They were very professional and receptive.

The cleaning was fine. Everything else was not. I asked that they arrive after 12 noon. They arrived at 10:45 a.m. This was very inconvenient as I was in the middle of wrapping Christmas presents. The offer was for "$99 for six hours of housecleaning". Two women worked from 10:45 am until 1:45 pm. i.e. four hours of cleaning!

Daphne's was good but like most other cleaning crews we've used, not great. It's most likely due to the fact that we have high standards but most of the cleaning crews we've had have just done a good job. The house was definitely in better shape after they left, bathrooms were cleaned well and the place was swept up. But there were several spills on the kitchen counter that were not cleaned, the dining table did not look like it was wiped down and there was dust on some shelves so definitely not a thorough job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. I was very satisfied. It went as planned. There were no additional charges. It was good. There were 4 of them and they were there for around 2 hours.

I'd used Daphne's Cleaning for over a year and generally had no complaints until I was impacted by the negative effects of what I assume to be their company growth. In all honesty, there was a steady decline in the quality of work. However, if I mentioned something that was missed to the owner he would make sure to fix it the next time. Sadly, I had to keep mentioning some things (like to please move the nightstands and vacuum behind them and to dust the towel bars). That was all tolerable because things happen. People get rushed and sometimes forget. Unfortunately, there were two significant incidents which forced me to look elsewhere. The first was when I was told that someone knew would be coming to clean my house. The owner called and told me and I appreciated the heads up. However, when they came they knew nothing. They hadn't been told how to arm and disarm the house, they hadn't been told key areas to clean, they hadn't been told where the trash was and where to dump it, they hadn't been told anything. I expressed my concerns and he said that he would walk through everything with them. I gave these ladies 2-3 more chances and there was always something that was not done. The trash wasn't taken out, the couches hadn't been vacuumed, the ceiling fan hadn't been dusted. I was livid! I called the owner and told him that he was the only one authorized to clean my home and he apologized profusely and complied. Weeks later, I got a letter in the mail from the lady who did a horrible job cleaning my house and she was soliciting new business because she'd decided to start her own cleaning company. She'd apparently pulled my information and the information of others from the company GPS. I was horrified and appalled that this woman with no moral compass was allowed in my home. It was unacceptable. There needed to be better vetting for all staff. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I came home from travel and expected to come home to a clean house and it wasn't done. Insult to injury was that I had to call him to find out what happened. He didn't remember. I appreciated his honesty when he apologized, told me he was sorry and said that he'd just forgotten. That's not something you want or expect to hear from someone who's been cleaning your house for a year. Overall, the owners are good people. They just need to work on ways to correct these issues to get back up to an overall A from me.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out very nicely. They had a special so the price was good for the work they did. They cleaned the carpet and it was very reasonably priced. All around I am very pleased. There was an add-on price of about $30 for some kind of freshener to be put on the carpet so we agreed to have that done. They were quite good and did a nice job.

Two cleaners arrived and left after two hours - total 4 hours of cleaning. Wouldn't clean fridge - said that was extra - even though they still had an hour left to clean. :(

The initial communication went well. They visited the house prior and provided an estimate. They scheduled the cleaning to take place in two weeks, even though I wanted it sooner. The day before the cleaning they failed to call to confirm. I called them in the evening to confirm their arrival the following day and they indicated that they would come after 10 am. They failed to arrive the day of the cleaning and never called until I contacted them in the afternoon. They apologize and indicated that they would come the following day. They did finally arrive and did a decent job. They need to do a much better job communicating with their customers and ensuring that once they set an appointment, they maintain it or contact the customer in advance.

They were very professional, friendly, and did a good job. They were accommodating time-wise and worked well as a team. I really appreciated their extra attention to the guest rooms since they came a few days before Thanksgiving and we were going to have a house full of people. I recommend them and will likely use them again.

It went great. my wife said the arrived on time and worked very hard. The gentleman who arranged things on the phone was excellent and allowed us to reschedule when we realized that my wife couldn't work remotely that day. I would highly recommend this company.

I had one week open to schedule a housecleaning while my family was out of town. Twin babies make it highly impractical to have cleaning done normally. I bought the deal and scheduled the cleaning. When the service provider failed to show up at the scheduled time, I called to check in. The person said they've be there within the hour. I asked him if he was sure, telling him that if they weren't I wouldn't be here as I had work obligations. He then said he'd have to confirm with the team. He called back shortly after and said they wouldn't be able to make it within an hour, so would have to reschedule. I explained my issue of only having this week to have the services done and that I'd have to call back once I could coordinate another time. I called back that evening telling him that I could do any time on Saturday or Sunday. He said they were fully booked. I again explained the situation. He had no flexibility to provide the service. I am very disappointed in their failure to show up and their further failure to make providing this service an absolute priority once they messed up to being with.

It turned out pretty well. Everybody does things differently but they were very thorough and I really enjoyed that they were quite flexible. They had about an half an hour left and I asked them to kind of clean out the fridge and they were fine of that, because it was sort of based on what I needed. I could direct them a little bit. There were a few things I felt like they didn't do as thoroughly but they were really pretty good. They were early.

The crew showed up early, worked diligently and with good cheer and left my house in much, much better shape than it had been just a few hours earlier. Their supervisor checked in the day before and again in the afternoon after the work had been done to make sure I was satisfied. I was, very much so.

Four very nice, friendly and eager ladies arrived to do the cleaning and I am very pleased with their work and professionalism. They arrived, brought their materials and got to work and did a wonderful job. The ladies were organized, had a plan and worked steady until the work was completed. I would gladly have them back. The only problem with this service was the scheduling. I had an appointment early in the morning and when I called that morning to confirm the arrival of the team, I was told by "Lenin" that he had an error with scheduling. He worked with me to make sure the work could be done that day, which I appreciate, but the error cost me lost time from work. My abvice (which I will take myself) is to call and confirm days before the appointment and the day of the appointment. "Lenin" was apologetic and wanted to ensure this was worked out and I appreciate his efforts.

I'll let you know when it happens - they are coming out the week before Christmas. They allowed me to put the cleaning off until December and have been diligent following up with me along the way to ensure I am on their schedule despite the holiday rush.

The ladies were very friendly, shaking my hand and telling me their name. They asked for a few items, such as trash bag and paper towels. They went right to work. I had to leave but they locked up on their way out. I came home to a clean house. It smelled and looked very clean.

Despite my difficulty in scheduling a time when I could be home, the provider was patient and persistent in scheduling my appointment. They sent 4 very cheerful ladies who were efficient and thorough and completed the job in an hour and a half. I showed one of the ladies an area of wall in my bedroom that had some stubborn spots and she cleaned it right off. I was pleased with the service and have scheduled them for regular service.

The crew was efficient and tidy, professional and friendly. They provided an overall good general cleaning. There were a few nooks and crannies that didn't get proper attention (dusting mostly), but I didn't expect more than a "general" cleaning from the special offer I purchased on Angie's List. I would certainly be willing to use them again and to recommend them to friends.

It was ok for a one time deal, but wouldn't hire again. It just isn't my cup of tea to send 4 people to clean in an hour and a half. Much prefer only 1, maybe 2 . Ask them to start in kitchen as I wanted the emphasis there and bathrooms. Agreed, but didn't happen. Shoddy work in kitchen.
