Daphne's cleaning service did a great job. We first tried them using an online deal, and have since had them return monthly. They always arrive on time, are very courteous and professional, and are very thorough. They always send the same two people to clean our house (which is something I very much appreciate and have been unable to find with other companies). I also appreciate that the owner coordinates scheduling via email, which takes less time and ensures there are no miscommunications (which I've experienced with other companies). Overall, they've done a great job cleaning our house, have been great to work with, and are very responsive.

Daphne's Cleaning regularly provides cleaning services for my home and they continue to provide excellent service. They are always punctual, extremely flexible in accommodating schedule changes when necessary, and always leave the house sparkling clean and smelling wonderful. I am especially appreciative of their ability to deal with pets in the home, the fact that they work on weekends when needed, and their use of ecologically friendly cleaning practices and materials. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to others.

i have 2 dogs and lots of hair. they vacuumed and dusted everything. put dishes in the dish washer and cleaned up my dining room table. Great service for the price

It was not good. There was miscommunication. We paid over $100 for about 4 to 6 hours of housecleaning and 2 people came and they stayed for 2 hours and we tried to talk to them and ask why they didn't stay longer or cleaned more thoroughly. I wasn't satisfied with their customer service. We ended up spending $150 because we wanted to get the refrigerator cleaned. The deal did not specify what the services are.

It turned out OK. Scheduling was fine and they were nice and punctual. They were just not detail-oriented.

We were very disappointed in them. What they did was they cleaned the round stuff if they even cleaned. They didn’t picked anything up and move it. They didn’t clean under it or any like trash cans, bath mats or chairs. They didn’t move anything to clean underneath. When I looked in the bathroom, the floor wasn’t clean and the sink wasn’t clean. The areas wasn’t cleaned and then they actually threw away one of our wash cloths and a hand towel. When we contacted them, my husband spoke to them and said we wanted our money back or we need some kind of compensation because this is not good at all and he said that he wouldn’t give us any kind of money back that they would come back out and clean up what we said wasn’t done so when they came back out the same day, I was here and they looked around and they said they didn’t go back. I showed them a couple of places and they were taking pictures and they said it wasn’t their fault. When my husband texted back and forth with the guy about the towels, he said they didn’t do it and we threw them away which isn’t true. My husband went back and forth with him quite a bit before he actually admitted that yes, his people threw away the towels and he sent us a check for $15 to try to cover the cost of the towel which can’t be replaced because you just can’t find it anymore as a matching set. He was basically calling us a liar and then he eventually after many texts to finally admit it that his people threw them away. The cleaning people didn’t even try to speak to me in English. They were speaking to each other in Spanish and you kind of get a feel of potentially what they are saying so they didn’t try to understand me or speak to me at all.

It went well. Ours is a difficult place to clean because we really need to have things left exactly where they were.

Lenin send a team on saturday before mother day to clean my house and shampoo my carpet on all my rooms i also ask for them to clean my windows inside because they clean it outside part last time they here . when they arrive go directly to work on the bathrooms top floor ,master suite ,and my childs rooms ,before they shampoo the carpet pick up all the toys my kids left in the room my mom visit me and said on sunday honey how can you keep a house so nice and organize with 2 kids i like for daphnes cleaning the green products on the kitchen and on my wood floors also they remove the items in my bathroom cabinets and put all by the size and most use everyday first and the larger in the back i like it . i recommend to use DAPHNES CLEANING, the owner are very polite and professional ,can accomdate you to your work schedule

They did an excellent job, considering my place had not been professionally cleaned in quite some time. Difficult places like my shower were given proper attention and they did everything I asked and left the rooms alone that I requested to be skipped this time. Will definitely call them back and get regular (monthly) service started soon. My house smells nice, looks clean and nothing was broken or significantly moved around.

We have used this cleaning service for our home on Capitol Hill for over one year, on a weekly basis. They always showed up as scheduled, did a great job cleaning our home, and were very kind to our dog. They especially did a great job on our hardwood floors, which is hard work. When the weather was bad, we always got a call to reschedule well in advance. We definitely recommend this service.

Since my tenants moved out, I needed a thorough cleaning in preparing for renting it out. I had to reschedule due to my tenants not moving out on time. Daphne's Cleaning was understanding and promptly rescheduled me without any hassles. The team did a great job. I will definitely call them again. The contact person, Lenin Rojas, worked with me to find a convenient time for the crew to come. He responded quickly to emails and phone calls. He verified the appointment on the day before. The 2 person staff arrived on time, were friendly and began working immediately. They spoke minimal English. I have a 3 story house with 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, a den, a small basement family room, a small laundry room, hardwood floors and carpet. They were more detailed than I expected, even vacuumed the sofas and bathroom rugs, thoroughly cleaned the shower framing, dusted framed pictures, (things that often are neglected). Everything looked and smelled really great! They completed the job, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming in exactly 2 hours! I usually spend 1$130 for one person who takes about 4 hours. I tipped the ladies $10 each. I received a call from Mr. Rojas to ensure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. I will be using the company again! I recommend discussing, when setting up the appointment, what tasks will be done to clarify expectations -- for example, 2 people for 3 hours = 6 hours?; what tasks are included /excluded (wash windows, clean refrigerator, oven, change linen, etc.)? I did not have a problem because everything that I wanted done was completed and done very well, however, there is potential for misunderstanding. I shared this concern with Mr. Rojas who was very receptive and emphasized that the company is very flexible and works to ensure that the client is satisfied.

I was not impressed with them and they had ‘A’ rating. I have a white couch in my living room and when they left, my husband said what is it on the couch and there were black streaks and I am not sure from where it came and whether it was the vacuum cleaner or what. I was able to get those off but I found that there were black streaks on the rug of the family room and the rug is light and there were marks on the rug that hadn’t been there before. I don’t know if the vacuum cleaner had dirt or mud on it as it was the same thing they used in the living room, couch as well as the family room and that really bothered me and they didn’t check to see after they had worked to see everything was in place. The price was high and I don’t know what the normal growing rate is. I have some people who have worked for me for about 10 years and I know them and what needs to be done and they don’t charge as much that’s because they had me for so long. When they had to reschedule they were good as far as getting back to me because they couldn’t come on Monday due to the snow. They were good at follow up.

The women from Daphne's cleaners that came to our home were friendly, efficient and left our home spotless! When they first arrived, I showed them to the rooms that I wanted cleaned and the rooms that they could ignore. After looking around a bit, they got to work immediately. Both women first cleaned the upstairs portion of the house. It took them about 1.5 hours to do 2 full baths, three bedrooms and a big hallway. It was obvious that they moved some of the lighter furniture (nightstands and my son's toddler bed) away from the walls to vacuum and dust. The bathrooms shined and they made our shower (which is difficult to clean because of hard water build up) look brand new! The ladies did a wonderful job dusting and vacuuming as well! Once the upstairs was complete, both women moved downstairs vacuuming the carpeted stairs on the way. It took them about 1 hour and 15 minutes to clean the dining room, eat in kitchen, family room, half bath and hardwood floors. Again, they did an excellent job cleaning all the fixtures and appliances. Overall, this was a great experience and they left my home looking and smelling amazing!

I would not recommend them because the Big Deal had been for a set amount of time and I think they had gotten lost on the way here and were running late and about 45 minutes before the end of the period, they just said they were done and left. It was my understanding that I paid for a certain amount of time and I felt that they were definitely was other things to use that time lapse and they just left. They did a fine job for what they did but they just didn’t finish. Initially, it seems like the contact and setting up the appointment was easy but then they came back and said none of the dates I had chosen were available and then at one point, I think it was like on a Wednesday night, e-mailed me saying that Thursday morning they had an opening which I didn’t get the e-mail and it was a short notice and then after that, they seem to be less responsive and I actually had to tell them on several occasions to find a setup date and they just always said no and I finally called them and setup a date. So their e-mail response is not good. I think they were quickly overwhelmed by customer. The cleaning and women were fine. I just didn’t feel that they were being really true to the arrangement. When the women said they wanted to leave, I did call their office and talked with a man who was not pleasant at all so customer service is a little lacking in some areas too. The price was good.

We have used DAPHNE'S CLEANING SERVICE for about 2 years. We like their services, especially their responsiveness, flexibility and get-work-done attitude. We have a large house and a dog who gets her hair everywhere. They did a great job to get dog hair out of the carpets and furniture. We need occasionally to rescheduled our cleanings due to our travel schedules. They are very flexible and we never had any issue to reschedule. When we initially ordered the service, the regular cleaning didn't include the basement since it rarely got used. However, once a while, we switched around to have basement vacumed instead of our guestroom, for example, they did whatever we wanted and never had any issues. As some of other reviewers mentioned, they got work done very quickly and the cleaness of house is to our satisfaction. We like their get-work-done without nonesense approach. Having the work done quickly (usually 1.5 hrs for two people) is a plus to us since we are on-the-run all the time. Sometimes, we did notice that some items were not put back to the orginal position after cleaning, such as shower head, carpets and items on the countertop. But it only took us a couple of minutes to take care of it. Overall, we are very happy with our cleaning services and Lenin and his wife are very pleasant to deal with. We definitely recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

It went pretty well. It was a pretty thorough clean. They did a pretty good job.

Daphne's did a very thorough job cleaning our house. They cleaned our batrhrooms (4), kitchen, bedrooms, office & basement/playroom. They vacuumed and cleaned the floors, wiped down the blinds, dusted and more. The workers were friendly and courteous and we will have them come back to clean on a regular basis.

It's okay. They finished rather quickly. I think it was supposed to be 3 hours for 2 people but they finished in like half the time. I think they just went in and they worked. It was fine. When they were finished, they were just kind of ready and they were gonna go out the door and they were just letting me know that it's all done. They took a while to finally schedule a time. I wouldn't say it's awesome and I wouldn't say it's bad. They got the job done. There wasn't anything bad about it. Punctuality is pretty good. I would consider using them again but it wouldn't be like, "Oh, I've got to go to them next time."

As i said they come to my house on sunday ,after they leave my house was with a pleasant smell i love it . i email daphnes on friday and they response very fast with time and date for the whole housecleaning ,when workers arrive ask me where can they start . my master bedroom they do my bed and put the old sheets and bathroom towels into the laundry basket ,my shower and the closet all the things from the floor was all pick up and vacuum the rooms for my kids all the toys put in the basket and organize it so toll my kids the way the rooms need to be . in the kitchen dust,polish ,vacuum and mop the title floors. also they do my baseman vacuum as i don't use frequently my family rooms was vacuum ,dust vacuum the sofas to i was happy with the cleaning and i schedule twice a month service the fact that they work on Sunday it was a plus i will definitely recomend to my coworkers and friends

I arranged for the service to be anytime AFTER 12:00pm (noon). The ladies showed up "promptly" at 11:00am, an hour early. I was not quite ready for them. I gave them my list of priorities - start here, concentrate on these areas, any leftover time work on the rest. They pleasantly proceeded to work on the bedrooms and bathrooms, collecting trash and making beds as they went. They cleaned the living room, dining room and kitchen with a pleasant-scented cleaner. By this time I'd gone into my master bathroom and yes, they had cleaned, but not scrubbed; the edge around the faucet wasn't very clean, the outside of the shower door hadn't been wiped down and they had jammed the shower doors apart. Luckily my older son was home and between us we managed to fix that without the doors breaking. At 1:30 (2.5 hours after arriving) the woman who spoke english requested to heat their lunches in my microwave. I said sure, assuming they'd finish the rest of the time while their lunches were heating, but they just stood next to the microwave til it was done, then wished me a pleasant goodbye and left. I was surprised. They never touched my laundry room (next to the kitchen) except to vacuum. Didn't touch the laundry sink or wipe the floor. The kitchen floor had been mopped, but not around the edges. After they left, and I went to prepare my lunch, I found a large splatter (dried) right in front of the stove. When I wiped it up, the rag came up gray - so I took another rag and wiped a "clean" area. Also gray. I did not feel as though the bathrooms and kitchen had been "sanitized" nor the house thoroughly cleaned. Plus, I was cheated out of an hour of the six I was expecting. Will I use Daphne's again? Resoundingly NO.

Daphne's Cleaning Service was on-time and did a thorough job cleaning our house. The staff was very friendly. We would use them again.
