DAPHNE'S CLEANING SERVICE LLC

These guys were lifesavers. We had just painted several rooms and needed some help with some cleaning before company came for New Year's Eve. We had only a few windows in time where we could be home and they were kind enough to fit us in over a weekend. Lenin and his team came early, were super courteous and professional. They stuck to their estimate and the quality of work was superior. We'd highly recommend them.

Lenny and Rocia arrived promptly at the specified time and spent approximately two hours cleaning. They are a personable couple and very hard-working. Their pricing, although slightly higher than I had paid before, is nonetheless quite reasonable and had wonderful results. I am quite pleased overall with their efforts and have contracted with them for additional work.

We have used the service for over 6 months and are very happy with DAPHNE'S CLEANING SERVICE. They are husband and wife team and work very efficiently. We have a big house plus the dog hair is everywhere. They did their best to get the house cleaned. They are very accommodating. Due to the work schedule, we had to change the date quite a few times. They were very responsive and always met our needs. We like to have a clean house and feel comfortable but we are not kind of people that want the house spotless everywhere. So we are quite happy with their work. We appreciate their work ethic, always on time and hard work. We will continue to use them and recommend them to our friends.

I called Lenin to ask about his services, and arranged for a one-time "move-in" cleaning. He and Rocio arrived early, and were ready to start at the appointed time. They worked very hard and diligently, cleaning all the appliances and floors, and left the house looking much better for their work. They are great!

I was so please by the work performed, I offered to pay them $10 more than what they offered to charge. I definitely would highly recommend them and hope to be placed on their bi-weekly scheduled based on availability.

Based on reviews I saw here, I scheduled a cleaning. They were very flexible and accomodating in scheduling. They FAR exceeded my expectations. Every time I went into a room I noticed something that I did not expect them to do. They were very pleasant to deal with and they did an outstanding job. I have schedule bi-weekly cleanings with them. I highly recommend them.

Lenin was very responsive, flexible, and professional. The work performed was thorough and of high quality. I have scheduled his team for regular service moving forward and would definitely recommend him to others.

They scheduled me in at the last min (which I can't thank them enough for because my mother is flying in tomorrow, and she is very critical when it comes to cleaning). They arrived about 15 min early, and they were really nice. I had to go over some of the rooms for missed cobwebs on the ceilings/walls, re-vacuum one of the carpets, and re-mop one bathroom floor. However, everything else was spotless. I called them afterward to tell them what they need to improve on and to thank them (I wasn't there when they came to clean), and they even offered to come back and clean whatever I wasn't satisfied with (I said it wasn't necessary). All in all it was a good experience.

There were some bumps in the road, but we worked together, ....at first. Once, they left my back door WIDE OPEN. Not just unlocked, OPENED. They were apologetic and I let it go. Since then, I tried to correct a few cleaning oversights and I was met with a little attitude, but generally, I was satisfied. Then we had a mixup on the schedule in the August that changed everything. I scheduled them to come while I was away, so I could return to a clean house. It was my fault that I confused the days, and I apologized and tried to reschedule for an appointment within 7 days of that, but they did not even TRY to give service since then. As far as I know, that's the only time I've ever missed an appointment. They said they'd check for a date and get back to me. Nothing. I pursued them two more times and they didn't respond. I texted one last time and said, "Ok then." No answer. I've been "dropped", apparently, without regard. No phone call, no text (the usual method of communication), no explanation. No effort to regroup and begin again. I have been a good client. If they can be forgiven for leaving my house completely open for burglary, then they can get off their high horse when I mix up my cleaning date once. This is completely unprofessional and it put me in a bind. I will not use them again. When I read their responses to the complaints they've received on Angie's List, I can see how amateur they are. All they do is defend and argue. They don't understand service. It's possible that the complaints are valid and they should listen and consider the feedback. It's really very valuable to their business for them to KNOW the feedback. They should say THANK YOU. It would show them how to improve and succeed. They don't see it that way.

No work was done because they never reurned my calls.

The cleaning was as promised. Keeping appointments was a total failure. I don't really have the time or inclination to itemize all of the broken appointments and unkept promises. These two people are charming and manipulative. They used these qualities to keep me waiting for them on numerous occasions. They never called to say they would be late or not be able to make it at all. Not even when the day was over. They had the usual excuses. Lost my cell phone, I messed up, and I am very sorry. This occurred only after I called them to find out why I had waited all day for nothing. This also occurred before the first actual cleaning, between their first and second appearances and after the second cleaning. I paid them $240 for about 3 1/2 hours on each of the two dates when they showed up and they said that was most satisfactory. Even with all this being said you might be persuaded that perhaps they didn't want to come to my house. But the fact is they did. They came and accepted the money for the work. And they continued to make further appointments after the first visit and they broke those, until they finally came for the second visit and made another appointment which they broke and rescheduled and broke and rescheduled until I finally wrote and just asked point blank if they ever intended to actually show up again. Again they were sorry that they "messed up" and though they were busy that week they would have time for me the next week, the week of APRIL 23. I replied that I would accept that and now that two months have passed since April 23, I think I have given them ample time. I have these pieces of correspondence in case anyone would like written proof of my words. To be honest, the only time I got a proper reply and action from them was when I would mention Angie's list. How awful that they seemed only afraid of and concerned about Angie's list. Some motivation! Well, this is the very reason for the existence of Angie's list. So be forewarned. You may be acceptable as one of their full service customers for now, but as long as they keep getting A's on the List they will continue to cull the best deals for themselves from the rest of the customers who they will just drop as having served their purpose They have said they are not interested in expanding the family business because they don't know who else they could trust. That sounds attractive until you have experienced the necessary consequence of their self-imposed restriction on number of customers. Enjoy them if you don't mind having the door slammed in your face when they don't need you anymore. For me it's back to Angie's list to find another cleaner and with the hope that more people with negative experiences will speak up as readily as all the gushing A's for the USERS out there.

Daphne's cleaning service was great. I made the appointment a week earlier (from Florida). My husband and I are renovating our home and need vendors who can show up on-time and work efficiently. Daphne's folks worked as a team and did everything one would expect from a professional cleaning firm. There was alot of construction dust and residue from painting, drywall and tile. Daphne's folks took care of everything in record time. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Did not show up for the appointment they scheduled. I called them for 40 minutes and finally called back and basically said "Oh, looks like I messed up my schedule. Do you want me to come next week instead?" I'm happy to pay a little more for someone who is more reliable.

We were very pleased with this companies efforts to get our house spotless. They arrived on time began working immediately in a very friendly manner. I would highly recommend this house cleaning company!

Lenny and Rocio Rojas are the couple that form Daphne's cleaning service. They responded immediately to my phone call, gave me a quote over the phone of $130, based on a description of my house, for the first deep clean. They showed up on time with all their equipment and cleaning supplies. They happily greeted my dog at the door and then got to working. They clearly knew what they were doing so I only intervened a couple of time to give some specific guidance on my preferences. I was very happy with the end result of their efforts from this first cleaning so I negotiated a weekly rate of $80. There are numerous rooms in the ground floor of the house that are seldom used and only need occasional cleaning. They now come during the day when I am at work and have been here about a 1/2 dozen times since the first deep clean and the quality of their work has been maintained. It is a real pleasure to get home on the day that they have been to the house and find everything spotless! They are very agreeable and will integrate whatever particular preferences you have for cleaning into their routine (e.g. please dust the knick knack shelves in my daughter's room every couple of weeks, please change the sheets every other week, please be sure to let the dog out of the house before you go, etc...).

The first time I called, Lenny got back to me right away. He was courteous and attentive to my questions and then he was accommodating to find a first date. That was December. I have now used Daphne's three times in total and I am very pleased. I had a few things I wanted them to pay special attention to and they took care to remember those items. Since they bring their own rags, supplies and vacuum, I don't end up with a load of laundry to do, a shopping list of cleaning supplies to buy and a broken machine. I tidy up in advance so they don't have to work around a lot of junk, but when they come across a stack of papers or a dresser top that has a lot on it, they don't just throw things in a drawer or move my belongings where I can't find them. When they work, they work as a team, in harmony. My husband was here for part of their last service visit and he said they had a very pleasant energy the whole time. When I got home after a long day at work myself, I walked in to a beautiful, clean smelling, shiny house. I texted the Rojas' right away to give them thanks for such a great job. I wold recommend this married couple to work in your home. You can trust them and you will like the results.

They were a little later than I expected, because the first time they were here exactly when they said they would be.

I was initially hesitant to write a review because I thought that they might be too good to be true. However, after 4 visits, their work has remains thorough and consistent. If I ask for attention to be paid to a specific area one week, Lenin and Rocio remember it in subsequent weeks. On the few occasions that I've reached out to Lenin, he's responded promptly. I've scheduled Daphne's Cleaning for service every two weeks and am elated that they are serving Alexandria, VA!

Mr. and Mrs. Rojas came exactly on time and I showed the layout of the house. and then left them to do the work. They worked steadily and quietly for almost two hour and said they were finished and asked me to examine their work. On quick glance it was fine and I was pleased. I was hoping the "deep cleaning" I had requested would include the ceiling fan blades in the Kitchen and bedroom but did not specifically ask for it and it wasn't done. I was disappointed with the kitchen floor, when it dried and I could get in there. Some spots were not cleaned as I would have expected--but the floor was very dirty with two dogs and a recent rainy day. I have scheduled another cleaning in a month.

We called and spoke with Lenin on Friday Nov. 18th. We were having guests stay with us the following week and were hoping to find someone who could clean before Thanksgiving week. Lenin was very friendly on the phone and we made an appt to meet later that same day. He and Rosario showed up on time and we talked about the specifics of the house. He quoted us $200 for the first cleaning, which we considered a very fair price. They were available the following day to clean and said it would take 3 hours. They finished in 2.5 hours and that included hand scrubbing the bathroom floors, dusting the trim and windowsills and cleaning the microwave. We were very pleased with their work and will use them again.

They were a wonderful company and they were on time. The job was timely as estimated and the work was immaculate. Lenin was professional and I will refer them to others.

We had to let a previous cleaner go, as they kept changing days & times on us. This is an important factor for us. Lenin was on-time for first appointment and follow on appointments. The house is spotless after each clean, and any loose ends left lying around (usually my 10yr old's lego!) is easy to find. Service is done with a smile, on-time and right first time. Follow on cleans are $90.00, which is more than previous cleaner. That said, the fact that this company is reliable is worth spending the extra dollars on.

Daphne's showed up on time, performed the services in the expected time at the predicted cost, and left the place looking better than it had in years. Highly recommended.

Husband & wife team are very hard workers, do a great and thorough job cleaning and in a very timely manner. We tend to be quite pickily about house cleaners and they are good enough to keep us satisfied and continuing to use their service.

The first thing that comes to mind about Daphne's Cleaning s they are extremely professional and down to earth. Upon meeting Lenin and his wife, I was instantly comfortable with them working in my home which is not always the case with other cleaning services I've had. Lenin and his wife are very focused. You will not find them chatting away while they are supposed to be focused on cleaning your home. They are never heavy handed when it comes to cleaning, using a gentle but firm touch always. They have now cleaned my home three times and are in the process of learning my preferences however at this time, I intend to keep them on a permanent basis. They do a beautiful job on my wood floors and clean my home well. If something minor is overlooked, I let them know and they are attentive and it is never a problem again. I highly recommend this duo. You wont be disappointed!
