Description of Work: Kitchen Magic Refacers refaced all our kitchen cabinets, changed some cabinets to drawers, added molding to improve the look, replaced the counter top, added a built in soap dispenser, and added a few updated conveniences. The work was done on schedule, by a skilled professional, with care to protect the rest of the house from dust, dirt and debris. Everyday the area was neaten before he left and the work was minimally invasive. As I recall it took less than a week. There were no surprises and we are still, three years later, very satisfied with the work.

Description of Work: Part of a wall was removed between my kitchen and dining room. My pantry was taken out and replaced with overhead cabinets, a new counter and drawers. All cabinets were refaced and look extremely good. Earl and Jim were prompt, neat and very accommodating.

Description of Work: So, this work was more than three years ago, but KM remains super responsive. I had to have them pull up my payment paperwork for tax purposes and they were able to quickly and w/ total understanding. The quality of the work they did for me in my previous residence was amazing and I credit it, in part, to the favorable sales price on the property. They refaced and even built up my cabinets flush to the ceiling, giving them an expensive 42" look (and reality frankly). They also replaced my ugly recessed florescent lighting with recessed can/spot lights. They were creative with the design, which among other things allowed me to add a breakfast bar (also adding value to the condo). They adapted over-fridge cabinets to fit a larger, nicer fridge. Really, I can't say enough nice things about the work the did from design to installation to ongoing availability. Years of oohs and aws from visitors and the current owner. Basically a brand new kitchen for 1/3 the price.

Description of Work: Stated over and over it would take four days, maybe a fifth day max.Stopped work twice because of"parts" not delivered. It took ten days. Still missing one cabinet door. I find their prices were too high for the quality of work performed. Should have just brought new cabinets all together. I wish more people would put out honest reviews, so buyers can make informed choices.

Description of Work: This was done quite awhile ago, and we don't have the information at our fingertips. The re-surfacing looks good, but we had a problem with the installer. He didn't cover ANYTHING while he was working. I came in with sheets and covered the stove, etc., and it was as if he didn't even acknowledge that something was necessary. I SHOULD have stopped him. My problem.

Description of Work: We were in contact with KMR twice. In 2006 they resurfaced our kitchen for o/a $23K. They did a great job and we're still happy with it today. In '11 I did order 3 cabinet doors ($600.)to finish off the counters backside which I wish had been done in 2006. 1 door now opens to a previously hard to get at under sink area and 2 doors are fake doors. Both times KMR was professional and pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: Replaced/resurfaced cabinets in kitchen, powder room and adjoining wet bar. The guys that did the installation work actually made some better suggestions than the sales rep. Only took a few days. The only negative was that the sales rep would only speak to me AND my husband together, regardless of the fact that I was the one making the decision and paying for the work. Said he had too many call-backs if just meeting with one of a couple. Several years later, the cabients still look beautiful.

Description of Work: Not sure how you found out that I used Kitchen Magic. It was in the early 2000s. Anyway, they were great. They not only refaced but built my cabinets to the ceiling, giving them a much larger, cleaner, more sophisticated look-- and an extra shelf to boot. They also later came to help shorten a cabinet to fit a new fridge. They reface accordingly. They can (and did) more than refacing-- new lighting, light design work. I've recommended them to others.

Description of Work: The work was actually done Sep 19, 2007, but your program only went to 2011. I highly recommend them for the quality of their work, but also you will only be disrupted for approximately 3 days from start to completion. I bet if you had a total kitchen restoration, you would pay double and be inconvenienced for months. All of my friends can't get over that this was a refacing job; they thought I had a complete kitchen restoration and paid so much more. You won't be sorry if you use this company. |
