Bay Country Floors

Description of Work: Two bedrooms and a den. One bedroom was wall to wall. For the other bedroom the carpet was cut and bound. Would have give an A overall but their shop cut the bound carpet incorrectly. They fixed their error efficiently and professionally - no hassles. Would recommend them.

Description of Work: "I had my carpet removed and replaced with hardwood flooring in my town home living and dining areas as well as on my stairs and upstairs hallway. First, I called Bay Country Floors and spoke with David Brown, then visited their Gambrills location showroom where he let me pick out a few hardwood plank samples to take home with me to see what color I preferred best. A few days later he followed up with a visit to my home for measurements. He is a very nice and knowledgeable man in the business. He provided me with the cost of each area I thought I wanted to have done. The cost was very competitive with the big box stores and I decided to go with them. I previously reviewed other customer reviews on Angie's list before visiting Bay Country floors. | |The crew showed up on time and immediately started to remove the carpet and install the flooring. They worked diligently nonstop. I was told it would be done in one day but late in the afternoon the contractor told me he had to leave and that he would be back the very next morning. So, it took two days. I had off the next day so I was able to live with that. | |My floors looks great and I received lots of compliments! | |The only issue I have had is the wood installed on my first floor, which is hopefully being resolved. The flooring was installed over concrete and in one area, a few planks buckled up at the seam when the weather changed (it did not separate, just no place to expand). It's a small area and a part of it was fixed but my couch extended over the area and a couple of planks were missed, so, I called over a month ago asking to have it fixed and I'm still waiting for them to finish the repair. Mr. Brown told me they were behind and he would get to me as soon as they could. Also, I want another room upstairs measured to have the same flooring installed. | |I'll update when the fix is completed and post pictures. "
