Description of Work: For the first time in 20 years we had a mouse problem as the weather turned cold. Western came out found where the mice were in the attic and basement and put down traps. They came back two more times to make sure the problem was clear. | I'm very satisfied and took out an annual contract.

Description of Work: Called Western to eliminate a squirrell problem. Salesman came out, looked over the situation and offered us a one time fee or the possibility of an annual program. We preferred the annual program and agreed, signed the contract and provided payment information. When the actual workers came out, they decided that the planned eradication was not going to work and left. A supervisor came by several days later (unannounced), reviewed the situaiton and basically bailed, saying it was too tough a problem and referred us to a trapper. From our perspective, if it was easy to solve, we wouldn't have needed a professional. Eliminating squirrels is part of their described services. The salesman had a chance to look at the problem and agreed to a contract. We could have forced the issue and held them to the contract, but we felt that we would not get good service from a company that tried to get out of it. It was our sense that an easy project became tough and potentially expensive and they reneged on their obligation.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with the sales rep. who came to my house and did the inspection and explained the service to me. He took time to sit down with me and really educate me about the bugs we were dealing with. He also helped me understand what other actions I could take (in addition to spraying)to help reduce bug trouble. I was not so impressed with the system for getting him there. I registered on the Internet for the free inspection and someone called me two days later to set up the appointment. I missed her call, but called her back w/in an hour and didnt receive a return call from her. when I called again 3-4 days later, she was confused about who I was, rudely telling me she deals with a lot of____ [insert first name here]. She seemed to be at a call center though when I called the local number with follow up questions they were as fab as the sales guy. The tech was completely professional, answered my questions, came on time, and best of all got rid of the BUGS!
