We were contacted very quickly and Jose came out to give us an estimate within a day. He was very professional. The work was very difficult, as we had a lot of damage, but the men who stripped and repaired the decks started early and worked on through for a few days until the job was finished. They were polite and knew what they were doing. Rain was not forcasted, but six hours after the job was finally finished, it poured for a half hour. Jose called the next day and asked if he could come out to inspect the decks. He decided to re-stain the decks because of the rain. We were very pleased. The decks look wonderful and we would use this company again in a heartbeat.

They got a little lost, and it took a while to instruct them here (they went to NW instead of NE, a problem that crops up from time to time with folks new to the area). They had to call a few times. But once they got here, they got to work and stripped the old finish and cleaned the deck. They were done in less time than I expected, so I still managed to make the movie plans I had made, even though they arrived late. They gave me instructions about when to replace the patio furniture and grill (which they helped me move).

See above. Professional, know what they are doing, come when they say they will, work hard, and left our house, deck, steps, etc looking great.

Overall, they did a good job. I was annoyed that they did leave nails all over the deck, and below the deck, considering this is dangerous for us walking out or driving over, later on. They also didn't say much, maybe due to language issues, but while they did a good repair, it wasn't perfect; would have been nice to acknowledge what they could/couldn't accomplish given the extent of the damage. They came back later to do the neighbor's deck maintenance and did a fairly good job.

The company representative was very nice, very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. He explained the special process they use and was very responsive overall. The work and time required was as he had said. There was one spot that was difficult to treat because of a leaking faucet but they came back right away to finish the job when called. They were true to their word and did a quality job. It was a pleasure dealing with this company and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent. The deck was done over the course of two sessions. After the first one, my husband thought the deck looked brand new.

The job was done very well and we are quite pleased with the result. The manager I worked with is named Jose and he was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs deck work done.

Jose came out to meet with me and was very knowledgeable in his assessment of what we needed. There was no selling, in fact I asked for an upgrade beyond what he recommended for the deck. The estimated price was half what I had paid a few years ago for another company to do the same work. The actual work was delayed a day because of weather, but the crew arrived on schedule and did an excellent job of cleaning the siding. The house smelled clean, both indoors and out! The porch cleaning went just as smoothly, and two days later they returned to stain the porch and the lattice work. Moreover, Jose called me a day later to be sure I was happy with the outcome. My only small complaint is that the first day they left some trash in the yard that I had to pick up. Overall I am thrilled with the work they did (again, for HALF the price of one of their competitors) and would highly recommend them.

I saw an ad for DeckMasters. They came, looked at the project, and gave me an estimate which actually was slightly lower than a previous estimate. They came on Monday to strip, and Tuesday to clean and stain. I never met Jose since I was at work and we communicated by telephone and notes taped to a door. On Tuesday, I came home from work and saw beautifully stained wood in my backyard. The wood had been dark, dreary, and very weathered. It was as though someone had replaced the fence, decks, and bench. I saw Jose showing my neighbor the job and the neighbor was absolutely blown away. It was that good!! The best thing besides the new look is the quality of the workmanship. An even stain throughout and NOTHING on the house siding. I would hire this DeckMaster franchise again in a heartbeat.
