We are extremely please with the results but be patient for staining to be completed when the forecast is rainy. Also, make sure they stain a small section of deck to test to see if the stain color is correct for you. We thought we wanted Cedar but it was too orange and changed to the clear stain instead.

Excellent. Rain held things off for awhile, but that is not their fault, of course. They did a great job.

David Loghin from Deck Master was great at explaining different options for the work we wanted to get done on our deck. He explained all the choices and gave us an estimate the next day. Once we signed the contract, he was very quick in responding to questions or concerns throughout the project. He was very attentive to customer satisfaction and providing quality work. During the first part of the job, Pavel provided excellent carpentry skills replacing all rails throughout the deck including the stairs. Some floor boards were also replaced. Pavel and his crew were right on-time, pleasant and worked very hard. Wilner and his crew did a great job cleaning (low-pressure washing) and staining our deck. They were very careful covering the siding as well as the river rocks below our deck. Yelka and Carla from the front office were always very helpful and courteous over the phone when handling the paperwork. They were very nice when trying to schedule the work on our deck, especially in the middle of multiple rainy days in July. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the work that all the employees from Deck Master provided. Our deck which is over 25 years old looks amazing. We will definitely use Deck Master to maintain our deck in the future.

Deckmaster provided a free estimate for carpentry repair work on my wooden deck and fence, and also for a powerwash and reseal of the deck, deck stairs, and a fence. I contracted them to do the carpentry only (the powerwash/sealing was more than double the cost I normally pay). Scheduling was done within a week or so, and I was very pleased with the work Gustavo and his assistant did. The repair was done carefully and competently, and showed good attention to detail. I would definitely call Deckmaster again if I needed any repair work done.

They did a great job and the deck and siding both look terrific. Unfortunately on the first day of deck staining it started to rain. this left some blotching on the wood when it dried. I called Deck Master and they asked me to send pictures. I did and they came right back out and re-stained the deck. It looks terrific now and the the work crew was very efficient and respectful of the rules on social distancing.

I talked to many (I'm a bit embarrassed to say how many!) deck builders to get quotes on replacing my wooden deck with a composite deck from spring until early fall 2019. I was looking for a combination of the right price, outstanding customer service, and feeling confident that the contractor would do the job right. While there were a few other companies that engendered confidence and showed good customer service, I felt their prices were too high. One or two others had very good prices, but these were more along the lines of two guys with a pickup truck, without a company standing behind their work. Good thing I kept looking, because with DeckMasters, they hit it out of the park on all fronts. The guy who came out to scope out and estimate the job, David Loghin, was knowledgeable and was flexible in presenting options. For example, it was no problem for him that I wanted to keep my pergola. They would simply work around it. Plus, the price was right. And I’m talking thousands of dollars less than the competition. I knew a good deal when I saw one and after months of looking, I found the right company. Pavel, the onsite project manager, was extremely professional. They were very methodical in everything they did. The demo was done quickly, quietly, and left no mess behind. Construction went without a hitch. Pavel took great care to get it right, keeping me updated at major milestones along the way. The work was done and I don’t think I could be happier. If you are looking for a new deck, save yourself months of shopping around and call DeckMaster!

There is no doubt the finished product was of good quality and solid construction. It took way too long to get a quote and once accepted way too long for the project to start. However, when it did start it was completed quickly and the job manager was extremely professional concerned about making sure we were happy with the results.

We were not at home to see the cleaning of the deck, but the result was beautiful. It didn't look like our old, moldy gray deck any more! The wood was restored to brightness. We were afraid that weeks of daily rain that prevented the completion of the job would impair the result, but it was no problem. When the time came to complete the staining and sealing, Carlos and Cesar, Team #14, did a beautiful, thorough job. They carefully covered everything that was not to be stained- including the metal balusters- a tedious task that they took very seriously. They worked steadily all day and completed everything including the cleanup. They were cheerful and easy to work with. We could not be happier with the result. Our deck looks great.

We were very pleased with DeckMaster, Inc. Our deck had a few damaged planks that needed to be replaced, and we didn't see many companies that offered deck repair in addition to traditional power washing and staining. DeckMaster, Inc. provided all the services that we needed. They were courteous and prompt through their communication and estimation. Jose was great and easy to talk to as a representative, but the service provided by Pavel and his apprentice was fantastic. Pavel did everything that he could do to make our understanding of the process and what needed to be done easier to assimilate. Personally, I hate spending money, but in this case it had to be done. I have no regrets choosing to go with Deckmasters. They did a great job and I would recommend them over and over again. Jose was very knowledgable and very honest about what needed to be done. There were no corners cut and everything that was promised was delivered. These guys know what they are doing and they will make sure that you understand what you are paying for. Great job guys.

DeckMasters was wonderful to work with. The owner came to my house and spent over an hour developing a plan and a competitive bid. The ladies in the office were very responsive regarding scheduling and payment and easy to work with. Finally, the building crew headed by Pavel did a fantastic job. Pavel is a craftsman and a gentleman. We are extremely pleased with the final product. I have no recommendations for anything that could have been handled any better. I have lived in Montgomery County for over twenty years. During that time I have used numerous tradesman for various home repairs and improvements. My experience with DeckMasters was the best of all. I would recommend DeckMasters without any reservation. ps. ask for Pavel.

They contacted me quickly but couldn't get to me for almost 3 weeks. I was looking for something much sooner. As it turned out, the 3 week wait would have been fine since I could get no other contractors to even respond.
