Description of Work: I contracted with Deckmasters to replace the vertical posts supporting my deck as the original posts were not up to code. I would have given them an A, but they failed to remove the old posts despite a followup telephone request.

Description of Work: I have used them twice in the last two years. The first time they cleaned and sealed my deck and pressure washed my roof to get moss off. The second time was two years later to get the deck cleaned and resealed. Both times the crews came when they said they would and if there were delays due to weather I was called to be notified. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a nice job.

Description of Work: The company did a very good job on the power washing, and ultimately on the staining of my deck, but have been very unreliable in the scheduling and rescheduling. I was told I would receive a call regarding whether the company could performing the second part of staining (was to be within 2-3 days). They never initiated a call to reschedule and kept telling me there were "clients ahead of me" even though there was only 1 rain postponement day (e.g. I should have been first in line). There is no reason that one day of work delay should put me behind so many other customers. I already waited more than one month before scheduling work. I asked to be called by the owner, but the owner did not call. Again, the quality of the work was excellent, I think fundamentally they schedule too many people and no one seems to be in charge of making sure the scheduling is done promptly.

Description of Work: We were concerned about some of the beams on our deck splitting, as well as about the materials used for the deck, so we had Deckmasters come out to give us a quote for any repairs. They came on time, and were very honest in telling us that we had nothing to worry about, and that the splitting was normal, and the materials were up to code. They did not charge for the initial visit, so we were very impressed and grateful for their honest assessment, despite the fact that it meant we would not need their services. Will definitely call them in the future for other deck maintenance needs!

Description of Work: We asked them to clean our desk, which was covered with pollen and mold. I could never get that out by myself. We seleted the ImagePlus Package, which consists of pressureless cleaning and sealing. The deck looked much better afterwards. The green color was gone. I think they did a good job of trying to protect the paint on the house although there were a few spots I needed to touch up with paint. They also cleaned 2 stone tables and the built-in bench.

Description of Work: They completely redid the deck. They stripped it, replaced some of the bad boards and stained it.

Description of Work: My 18 yr old, large, cedar deck has been power washed, sanded, stripped, stained and generally mistreated. I learned about DeckMaster thru Angie's list and based on previous recommendations decided to take chance on them. Jose, Project Manager, visited in Feb, demonstrated his cleaning product, We decided to give it a try and were we pleased. Carlos and Dennis arrived in late March cleaned away the old stain, sanded the floor and applied a Cabot, water based product--color cedar. They worked the better part of three days. They were thorough, pleasant to deal with and most competent. The final product looks better than it has in more than a decade. There was some minor lawn damage where a hose leaked: Jose arranged to have new sod installed with no problem.
